Kate and Josh Gansneder are a husband and wife wedding photography team based in Snohomish, WA. Together they have documented 650+ weddings across Seattle and Snohomish County over 15 years. Couples consistently describe working with them as feeling like having a trusted friend there, not a vendor - someone who knew what they needed before they did, made them feel calm on a day that could have been overwhelming, and cared about the whole experience not just the photographs. Camera-shy couples forget the camera exists. Families get through formals fast so everyone can get to the party.

Two photographers at every wedding - always Kate and Josh, never a substitute. We arrive in full tactical gear with emergency kits, wear headsets to coordinate without you seeing us, and run a halftime huddle at dinner to game plan your night. We carry your food, fix your bustle, and handle things that would have disrupted your day before you knew they needed handling. We have photographed through broken bones, wasp stings, grief, and chronic migraines. We will be there. Documentary, Story-First. Color Integrity editing. From $4,500 for full day coverage.

Description

Our incredible travel packages are simple and probably WAY less than you’d expect to pay. Out of state weddings include both Kate & Josh. For continental US, pricing includes travel and includes 10 hours continuous wedding photography coverage with two photographers, digital images with printing rights delivered via digital download, sharing gallery. Other states and countries will incur additional travel costs.

    Best photographers hands down!!

    We truly cannot say enough amazing things about GSquared Photography (Kate and Josh). From beginning to end, they were absolutely incredible, and choosing them to photograph our wedding at gray bridge venue in sultan, Washington was one of the best decisions we made. Not only are they incredibly talented photographers, but they are also two of the kindest and most genuine people. They made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire day, kept everything fun and relaxed, and captured so many beautiful moments that we will cherish forever. Our photos turned out absolutely stunning and somehow perfectly captured what our wedding day actually felt like. What really meant the most to us, though, was how much Kate and Josh went above and beyond. We had hired a separate videographer for our wedding, and unfortunately, they never showed up. Kate and Josh had absolutely no obligation to fix a situation that had nothing to do with them, but without hesitation, they offered to record some video for us throughout the day so we would still have those memories. That act of kindness meant more to us than they will probably ever know. They were so much more than just our photographers that day. They were helpful, thoughtful, calming, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best wedding day possible. You can tell that they truly love what they do and care deeply about the couples they work with.

    Photos Dreams are made from

    Kate and Josh -- what can one say? They came in and made the day seem effortless. They caught the moments, and the small details that many forget. From making sure my feet didn't swell, my dress stayed bustled, my husband smiled they were on it. Kate took charge and the photos came out looking effortless. They are priceless pieces of art that capture the magic I could have never dreamt would have been captured!

    Overall, 5/5 because of how efficient, pleasant, helpful, and professional they are. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND on the wedding day, helping to not only create amazing photos, but also to help coordinate the actual wedding with us. They brought us food, Kate helped pin my hair and bustle my dress. Several guests told me how good her dance moves were too! The sneak peak photos are gorgeous. Communication was a bit choppy for me, which created anxiety on my end while leading up to the wedding. It was either an automatic reply message or it took a while for them to get back to me. We could not book an engagement session until 3-4 weeks before the wedding.

    The Photographers Who Saw It Before We Did

    Kate and Josh’s story with us began long before they photographed our wedding. We first met them at a wedding when my now-husband and I weren’t even dating yet. Something about the way we looked at each other caught their attention. They were convinced we’d been together for years. They asked if we’d be willing to do a “fake” engagement shoot with them, and by the time the photos happened, we were officially dating. Fast forward four years, and when we got engaged, there was never a question of who we wanted to photograph our wedding. Kate and Josh were the only choice. And wow, did they deliver. Not only are they incredibly talented photographers with an amazing eye for capturing the perfect shot, but they are also some of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. They made us feel comfortable, celebrated, and completely ourselves throughout the entire process. The photos they captured are beyond anything we could have imagined. They preserved not just how our wedding looked, but how it felt: the joy, the emotion, and all the little moments in between. I cannot recommend Kate and Josh highly enough. Whether you’re looking for engagement photos, wedding photography, maternity photos, or any other milestone worth remembering, they will capture it beautifully and leave you absolutely awestruck.

    Highly Recommend!

    We are so happy that Kate and Josh photographed our wedding. They were familiar with our venue and many of our vendors. On our wedding day, they arrived at the venue and started taking pictures immediately. Posed pictures were efficient (which is what we wanted) but they took so many pictures and captured every group shot that we wanted. They found the best backgrounds at our venue. Our sunset pictures turned out amazing. They really understand the flow of weddings and capture the moments so you remember how the day felt. We received SO many pictures and we love them so much!

As soon as possible! No, but really - we are booking 2 years in advance at this point, and peak summer Saturdays are nearly gone.
We post sneak peeks on social media the same day as your wedding or session (unless you're a destination wedding - that's a little different). Full galleries are then delivered at 8 to 10 weeks after your wedding, and roughly 2 weeks after any of your normal sessions.
You can expect about 50 to 75 images per hour of shooting. You have print rights for your images from the moment you sign your contract, and we recommend printing them at Costco or MPix - and photo books through Zno!
We don't at this time, but we do have incredible videographers we love to work with that we can recommend.
Absolutely! I hate that this is a question, but we are 1000% believers that everyone has the right to love whomever they choose, and we are honored to photograph every single love story that comes our way.
Raw, emotive, earthy, passionate, intimate, and observant. We seek out unique perspectives, and sometimes that takes us up a tree, wading in to a lake, or under a table. We fade into the background and document every moment as it unfolds, and then when needed, we can step up and take charge and make sure that we get the photos we need (like those family formals everyone loves).
Since Kate is a certified wedding planner, we know the ins and outs of traditions and creative weddings, and little secrets to add that special touch to your day. With two shooters at every event, you get to see things from multiple perspectives – which means we get the moments you may have otherwise missed.
Our travel fees are minimal and based on true cost. Anything requiring an overnight stay (more than 4 hours from our location), we do require accommodations to be paid for.
