We're a family-owned working farm located in New Castle, VA about 20 minutes from Roanoke. We have >100 acres of pristine land that backs up to National Forest land. The back of the farm has a small, rustic barn that has been converted for use as a intimate ceremony and can accommodate several people or a covered area for serving food, cake table, and gifts area. Couples are welcome to hang photos and decorate the barn to their liking. There is ample room for tents to accommodate DJ services, dance floor, caterers, etc. The lower section of the property is meticulously maintained and has a built-in stone grill and a large fire pit that couples are welcome to use. Ample parking is available. Power is available via generator to power lights, music, etc. We're happy to work with couples or wedding planners to make your big day unique and stress-free.

MeadowCroft Farm has been a working family farm for 7 generations. Located just outside of Staunton, Virginia in the rural community of Swoope (pronounced Swope). It is named after Jacob Swoope, the first mayor of Staunton and a land developer in the late 1700s. MeadowCroft Farm is situated in southwestern Augusta County, in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We are just a short five-mile drive from the Interstate I-81 and I-64 Staunton bypass. The renovations and updates to the adjoining cabins were completed in 2018. The Inn at MeadowCroft opened to delight guests with this beautiful, historic property. Our rooms are named after members of the Swoope family in keeping with the history of the inn and the local area.
