    Best Event Ever

    The Elston Inn & Conference Center was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding. From our very first interaction, the staff demonstrated a professional, knowledgeable, and creative approach that put us at ease throughout the planning process. Their attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring our event had a polished, pizzazz-filled, and elegant feel that wowed our guests. We were especially impressed by how they catered to our specific food allergies flawlessly, going above and beyond to make sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. The Elston Inn truly made our special day unforgettable, and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Yes, free on-site parking is available within our safe, gated community.
Yes, our facilities & Inn are wheelchair accessible. We have designated handicap parking, ramps at the main and side entrances, mobility aids available by request, and trained staff.
Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 30 days of your event date, you will be responsible for the full amount of all estimated charges.
Lynchburg Regional Airport (LYH) offers jet service every day to Charlotte, NC. It is located adjacent to the three major highways serving the Lynchburg area (US 29, US 501, and US 460) and is an easy 25 minute drive to campus. To get around town, there are several car rental companies available, as well as taxi services. Avis, Budget, Hertz, and National car rental companies have airport locations, and Enterprise Rent-a-Car has a location about 10 minutes from campus in Madison Heights. Gray Top Cabs (434-845-4554) is the taxi service recommended by the College.
A Certificate of Insurance is required for all events. Campbell Insurance (434-845-5541) can provide a COI with the required rider listing Sweet Briar College as additionally insured and marked with a waiver of subrogation.

Yes, our Catering department holds the ABC license and can provide an open or cash bar. They serve Sweet Briar Farm Wine, as well as liquor, or any alcohol guests request or would like to bring in.
Your reservation includes six hours from start to finish, including the time it takes our staff to set up and clean up. Any additional time will be billed at $200 per hour.
