Summit Events Co. uses an app for all of your music and timeline needs and it was SUPER easy to use. It connects to Spotify, Youtube, and a few other platforms so I could just upload my playlists I had already worked on and it made everything really fast. We also got a photobooth which was AMAZING. It's hard to know when planning a wedding what is worth the extra cost but this hands down was worth it. My husband is Dominican and I am from New England, and therefore we were looking for a bilingual band that could play a very wide range of music - from American wedding classics, to Pop, to Reggaeton, to Merengue, to Bachata — and a group that could MC the evening in Spanish and English, and bring the energy to keep the party going. We went with Hook Club’s 7 piece DJ Band, and they were above and beyond fantastic. They curated a setlist that somehow, despite the wide range of music, flowed together and was cohesive. I can’t express enough how talented they are vocally, instrumentally, professionally, and as performers. The dance floor was absolutely lit; even my brother who was on crutches and had a torn labrum couldn’t stay away. It makes me tear up thinking about how much energy, positivity, and happiness they brought to our night — they will always have a special place in our hearts. They are also true professionals - the planning process was easy, they were prompt in all communication, and on the day of they handled venue-related hiccups with grace. They were the first vendor to arrive to ensure a thorough set up, and the last to leave. They are truly such a special, one of a kind group, and I cannot recommend them enough. Of all the many decisions we made in planning our wedding, choosing THC was by far the best decision of them all. Although our wedding was back in August; our friends and family are still talking about The Hook Club, exlusively referring to them as “ the best wedding band they have ever heard before”. He also did an incredible job micing the night and keeping the pace. “Nicky Avalo Studios is AMAZING. DJ Redd kept the dance floor filled all night long. I was one of the crazy brides who had a veryyyyy long must play list and he did a great job at playing the songs that kept people singing & dancing. From the very start, it was such an easy process!! Nicky was so so helpful. I filled out the document and everything I asked for was done. Before the wedding, I had actual nightmares about who would DJ my wedding (no idea why… just mustve been what I was most nervous for?! LOL) and WOW those nightmares were all wrong. DJ Redd is the best & even joined us on the dance floor! Seriously I cant say enough good things. I told Nicky about the nightmares I had & he went above & beyond & showed up to our wedding to say hey which just made it even more special. “Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

“The short version of this review: if you want the music at your wedding to be awesome and exactly what YOU love to hear, and without cheesey emcee vibes, hire Marcus! Marcus did such an amazing job DJing our wedding, we couldn’t be more thrilled. He is extremely thoughtful with his work. He took careful note of my husband and my musical tastes and preferences, as well as the vibe of our wedding, instead of playing a standard tired playlist. Per our request, he blended in some Latin music seamlessly. The dance floor was full and lively all night long, exactly as we had hoped for! He played songs we hadn’t requested but that we love, leaving me wondering how he could have known so well what to play. He also respected our “do not play” list, as I found out multiple guests requested songs on it and he politely declined. Marcus is very thorough and organized which made working with him so easy- he was on top of all the details, order of events/cues, even reviewed proper name pronunciation with us in advance. The event manager at our venue said she loved working with him and was very impressed. Marcus has such a kind and warm personality, and a really special talent- we feel so lucky that he was part of our big day!”

“We truly cannot say enough incredible things about DJ Jean! He was absolutely AMAZING and such a huge part of what made our wedding day so unforgettable. From start to finish, he was professional, organized, and so easy to work with. He really took the time to understand our vision, our vibe, and the kind of energy we wanted throughout the night; and he executed it flawlessly. Every single “must play” song we included in our initial questionnaire was played, which meant so much to us. Once the dance floor opened, it stayed PACKED the entire night; seriously, most of our guests didn’t leave! The energy was unreal. “Golden Bell Music was worth EVERY penny AND MORE! It's been 6 months since my wedding and I'm STILL getting comments on how much fun all our guests had! Even my mother-in-law who doesn't dance did NOT sit down! I'm Lebanese and my husband is Israeli, so I had asked for help mixing songs to combine our cultures and then move into more western music. I'm still getting sooooo many compliments from our families on how we were able to combine our traditions and our music! And our guests LOST IT when they came out on the dance floor with their instruments and danced with us! I did this in lieu of a zaffet group because i wanted something more unique -- in lebanon a drumline would follow the bride and groom and dance/perform for guests -- and it was definitely the right choice!!! On top of their amazing performance, Marlon was **insanely helpful** both leading up to the day and on the day. I didn't have a wedding planner and was making last minute decisions/timeline changes myself the day of. I couldn't have done it so smoothly without Marlon being so helpful as an MC and being so willing to roll with it! He was absolutely fantastic!! Cut your budget wherever you can to make sure you can hire them. It's SO worth it! Thank you Golden Bell Music for making it the best day of summer (so i've been told. multiple times. by different guests.)!! “We honestly cannot say enough kind words about Superior Sound and DJ Kelvin!! They take the time to meet with you and know what you want. They execute it extremely well!! Since the wedding, we have had so many people tell us how much they loved our DJ and how GOOD he was!! He engages with you and your wedding guests, reads the rooms, does transitions, announcements and MC-ing so so well (I’m so picky about the announcement/MC aspect because sometimes it can feel so awkward and unnatural). But Kelvin crushed it!! I work in the wedding industry, and the value of what you get vs. what you pay is honestly unreal! Finding a vendor who treats you with professionalism while also like a friend/like family is so crucial for you wedding day to be successful. Cannot recommend them enough!!! In fact, we loved them so much that my parents just booked their services with Kelvin for a work event they host every summer!!! We absolutely love them!”
