His communication style was friendly, concise, timely and accommodating throughout the planning process. The quality of his work and value was exceptional - he provided a smooth transition between songs, was flexible in accommodating my song requests, and was thorough in going through the timeline to ensure all my music was accounted for. “I had the BEST experience with Black Tie Entertainment working with Matt and Chris. Right away, Matt was so responsive in wanting to meet and hear about what we were looking for in DJ services. He was extremely thorough, organized, and detail oriented every time we met, and continued to be responsive throughout our entire planning experience. If I had any questions, he emailed back right away offering to jump on a call to help. Additionally, he went out of his way to purchase a fog machine and operate it himself for our wedding! It's so clear that he genuinely cares about his clients and will go above and beyond! When Matt introduced me to Chris, I knew right away he was going to be the best. He is so friendly and relaxed, yet thorough and extremely professional. We met several times in detail to confirm the timeline and songs, and he was so helpful to bounce ideas off of. “Summit Events and DJ Sean Markland were amazing to work with! Do you want to have the most epic dance party of your life at your wedding? Do you want your guests on the dance floor all night? Do you want the wedding playlist to be a reflection of you and your spouse's music choices? Then you want to book Summit Events ASAP. Our wedding DJ was Sean Markland and he was just phenomenal to work with. Prior to our wedding we had a lengthy call with Sean; my husband and I were very picky with our wedding playlist and had a rule of absolutely no traditional wedding reception songs or line-dances. We love electronic dance music (EDM) and wanted our wedding to be "festival/show vibes". We pretty much curated our own playlist of EDM, country, hip-hop, folk and I really wasn't sure how our guests would respond (and we really didn't care because it was our wedding), but the way Sean mixed and transitioned the songs and hyped up the dance floor kept the vibes going all night! We used Summit Events for our up lighting too - highly recommend as it was a great way to turn the room from a classy dinner reception to a dance party in one click! The sound quality was great for both speeches and music; we wanted to make sure guests could hear speeches clearly and we had no issues at all even though it was a large room. I also appreciated the Vibo app that we used to plan out our ceremony, entrances, first dances and our playlist for the night - it was a great tool that kept songs and notes in one place. We would definitely use Sean and Summit Events again and highly recommend them for the best night of your life!”

“Gemma, who owns Luv’d Up DJs, was our DJ for our thirty person wedding recently and is my new favorite person on the planet. She is so talented, and really knows exactly how to engage a dance floor or get everyone to pay attention to something important (LOL). She absolutely killed it on wedding day — every song was perfect, she was so adaptable, and so engaged in the day. We didn’t stress at all about music knowing she was there!! Our dance floor felt like a bigger wedding because she was locked in on keeping everyone dancing — I don’t have many pictures because everyone was busy dancing but they had our crowd of accountants MOVING. That’s no small feat!! It’s also important to note that she was just as awesome throughout the planning process! We are indecisive people who have attended very few weddings, and she helped us through every decision. I cannot say enough how much better she helped us feel!! “My (now) husband and I had a very specific vision in mind for our DJ, which was that we wanted it to feel like an actual DJ, not just someone hitting play on a playlist, and we also wanted to mix a saxophone into the music for the dance floor. We wanted the songs to be mixed, someone who would read the room and know what the people were feeling, and that we didn't have to put together a whole playlist of songs, just give some "inspo"/our favorite artists and genres - and boy did they deliver. Conner did an incredible job pulling the right people in - which ended up being Will and JB - and we are so thankful we found them. They brought the energy all night long, and the dance floor honestly might have somehow been more packed at the end of the night than at the beginning. Will killed it as emcee and JB blew everyone away on the sax. Everyone was vibing the entire night which is exactly what we wanted. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high-energy DJ to keep people on the dance floor the entire night (even when the 10 pm noise ordinance arrives far too soon ;))”

“Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

The Photo Booth added such a fun touch to the evening and was definitely a huge hit with all the funny props! It also left us with a full digital album of all of our guests having the time of their lives and was immediately available for us to look at (which came in handy while we waited for our wedding photos to come back). “Marcus DJ'd our wedding this past weekend and he was the best DJ we could ask for! We had an initial consultation with him to align on what we're generally looking for, completed a "worksheet" with all the music and MCing details and any specific songs/playlists we wanted played, and then a final meeting to review the day from top to bottom. Marcus was communicative and easy to reach with any questions during this time. On the day of the wedding, he came several hours ahead of time to set up and prepare. During the wedding, Marcus played all the music from guest arrival to reception exactly how we envisioned, and MC'd all of the entrances, first dances, guest photos, etc. exactly on time and without too much fluff, which is what we wanted. Later, he played a great set of 2010s-2020s EDM and hype guest favorites that got the dance floor lit, and with great mixing and transitions too. Highly recommend Marcus if you're looking for a wedding DJ who's very skilled/experienced and just really knows music (not your average wedding DJ)!”

“Jeanyo Entertainment couldn't have been more perfect for our wedding! To start off the communication from the beginning of booking until the day of the wedding was responsive. Jeanyo was attentive our music taste and really wanted as much input from us as possible. We knew Jeanyo was going to take his duties seriously when he scheduled a zoom meeting between us and the wedding planner. He really used this time to pick our ear music wise, get our "Do Not Play List", and get our "Must Play List". The equipment the Jeanyo used was top notch. The audio was loud and clear for the outdoor ceremony. The timing of the songs that we selected to play for the bridal party, groom, and bride was seamless. We really appreciated the fact that he was able to incorporate specific audio files that we personally sent him. Where Jeanyo really shined was the reception!!! Since the music started and dinner was served, the dance floor was never empty the entire night. A lot of my guest came up to me saying "that was the most fun wedding I've ever been to!" We owe a big part these reactions to Jeanyo. Jeanyo not only perfectly incorporated our playlist into the reception, but his MC skills was on point. Hyping the crowd up, giving instructions on specific songs, announcements without interrupting the vibe were some of the MC skills he exhibited. Despite it being a reception he really gave it that high end club like feeling. The Mix of the music really united the diverse crowd, but really had people out of their seats when he tapped into the south Florida/Haitian Music. I still remember when Jeanyo got on the mic and said "Alright everybody we have 30 Minutes left". I genuinely couldn't believe how fast time was flying because we were having too much fun. We were recommended to Jeanyo by a friend of ours who had him for their wedding, and we are lucky to have gotten that recommendation. 5 out of 5 stars from the wife and I. We highly recommend Jeanyo for your wedding or any event the requires a DJ/MC.”
