The dance floor was packed the entire evening — not a single person left on the first shuttle because no one wanted to stop dancing, not even my 91-year-old grandma who stayed until the very end! We went into the wedding with zero playlists and just told him to play whatever - every song was perfect. We only had one requested song which he waited until we were outside to play, and it was great. Our guests still talk to us about the guitarist and how amazing cocktail hour was. Out of everything during the day, who knew the best part would be the first hour? Our biggest regret was not keeping him there for the entire day! Marcus did such an amazing job DJing our wedding, we couldn’t be more thrilled. He is extremely thoughtful with his work. He took careful note of my husband and my musical tastes and preferences, as well as the vibe of our wedding, instead of playing a standard tired playlist. Per our request, he blended in some Latin music seamlessly. The dance floor was full and lively all night long, exactly as we had hoped for! He played songs we hadn’t requested but that we love, leaving me wondering how he could have known so well what to play. He also respected our “do not play” list, as I found out multiple guests requested songs on it and he politely declined. Marcus is very thorough and organized which made working with him so easy- he was on top of all the details, order of events/cues, even reviewed proper name pronunciation with us in advance. The event manager at our venue said she loved working with him and was very impressed. Marcus has such a kind and warm personality, and a really special talent- we feel so lucky that he was part of our big day!”

However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“Kevin is AMAZING!!! He DJed our wedding celebration in May 2024, and WOW - he was 100000% our dream DJ. We had eloped a year earlier, so our "vision" for the night was to have an epic dance party with all of our friends - Kevin understood this immediately, and delivered truly beyond our wildest imagination! He kept the vibes moving during cocktail hour, and then seriously BROUGHT THE PARTY. The dancefloor was packed for over 3 hours straight. It felt like every single person there asked us where we had found our DJ, and they couldn't believe the mixes he was doing on the fly!! From the moment I first reached out to him in January right up until the end of the event, Kevin was consistently professional, upbeat, and efficient. He replied to all communication quickly, and was SO thoughtful in his preparation. He provided a shared document months ahead of time so that we could share music and scheduling info, and on the night of the event it was so evident that he had paid attention to every single detail ever mentioned in the document, over Zoom, or on our site visit. Every single must-play song came on at the perfect time, he managed to source very specific remixes that I had mentioned, and he kept the night running on schedule with such a chill, stress-free, and adaptable vibe. Kevin even introduced us to his colleague Richie for dance lights when we were debating our lighting options, which also ended up being absolutely perfect! I cannot stress enough how collaborative and understanding Kevin is, how smooth the process was, and most importantly - what a KILLER DJ he is. He truly wants to deliver the night of your dreams. My heart felt like it was going to explode in the best way multiple times that night, because of all the incredible, better-than-you-could-ever-have-imagined dancefloor moments. I wish we had an excuse to do it all over again, I would work with Kevin again in a heartbeat!!!”

He was super communicative when we had questions, helped give us some advice, and *!!!even learned a new song just for us!!!* We had just attended a friends wedding and the music was super unrelatable to my fiance (husband now lol) and our friends. We were bummed and worried - hopeful that ours would be fun and get people out there! Ryan was AMAZING.
