Snow Mountain Ranch was the best venue for our wedding. We reserved a family reunion cabin for our family to stay on-site all weekend, while our friends booked rooms at the lodges, and everyone was able to participate in summer camp activities. A highlight was the tubing hill and the waterfall hike! We also reserved the Mountain Air Cookout Shelter for the reception, and we were able to choose our own caterers. We opted for a pizza truck and a paella chef, and they were a big hit! The shelter was perfectly rustic and had a mountain vibe with excellent views, and SMR provided lawn games outside during our cocktail hour. We were also happy that we could bring our dogs to the reception, and they had a fun time too. There was also a fire pit at the reception site, so we lit a campfire when it got cold after dark. SMR also put us in touch with a local bartender and DJ, Marcie, who knew the venue well and kept the drinks flowing and the dance floor packed all night. The event coordinator, Stephanie, was very communicative throughout the planning process, and I think that everything went perfectly!

Our wedding at Granby Ranch was a dream come true. The venue is simply gorgeous with its picturesque mountain views and quaint, nature-filled setting. Jennifer and her team were so responsive, thoughtful, and quick in all of our communications leading up to the big day. We felt they really listened to what we envisioned for our wedding and worked hard to make it happen. Jennifer hosted a private tasting for us to sample catering options, which was above and beyond. We collaborated to create a custom bar package that gave our guests plenty of drink varieties to enjoy. On the wedding day, Jennifer and staff flawlessly executed everything we had planned together. From the ceremony overlooking the mountains to the reception in the beautiful lodge, it was magical. Beneath the Gore Range, one of Colorado’s most beautiful mountain vistas, we can accommodate up to 200 people in our wedding and event space. With two custom log pavilions, and a ceremony deck that boasts mountain views guaranteed to take your breath away, it’s no wonder couples from all over the country come here to say “I do.” The ranch is complete with six guest cabins, three glamping tents and an on-site restaurant and bar as the perfect place to entertain your guests.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Rustic yet refined style
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Both indoor and outdoor options

Venue considerations

If you want to wow friends and family with a spectacular wedding, have it at Piney. The amount of compliments my husband and I have received on the venue, food, staff, atmosphere, everything was above and beyond - and we have Piney and the incredible Piney staff to thank for making our wedding so unforgettable. We had our wedding the last day of the season - end of September - and the Aspen leaves were amazing. We had not one, not two, but three moose show up, bald eagles flying over us during our wedding vows, and sunshine. It was the most magical day of my life. Beyond the incredible setting, the staff at Piney made the whole planning experience wonderful. We didn't worry about a single thing, because Hollie and Mo kept us organized, suggested ideas to bring our wedding vision to life, and helped us make our dream wedding a reality. We stayed at the cabins with friends after the wedding reception wrapped up and had the opportunity to stay up late, sitting around a campfire, and talking about all of the wonderful memories from the day. I wouldn't change a single thing. The amount of family and friends who have told my husband and I that it was the best wedding they had ever been to reinforces that it isn't just my rose colored post-wedding love bubble doing the talking here, this venue is a show stopper.

As soon as we walked into Wild Basin Lodge, we knew the venue was the right place for us and we are so happy we chose them to host our magical day! We knew we wanted a "mountain" wedding and we knew we wanted to keep it intimate. Wild Basin Lodge checked all of the boxes for our requests and then some! The best part of Wild Basin is definitely everyone you will get to work with. Our event coordinator, Lauren is the most amazing person ever and just wish we could get married again so we could continue our communication channel with her. We had the wedding of our dreams at La Joya Dulce. We knew the first time that we visited the ranch that we’d be getting married here. We got married here in September and the fall colors look incredible in our photos. We had the privilege of working with Croix as our wedding planner. She was so kind, organized, and was incredibly accommodating to our busy schedules. She provided support every step of the way. Our big day couldn’t have gone better! Kathie, Croix, and the entire La Joya team work so well together and ensure that everything goes perfectly. I can’t recommend this venue enough!
