“Where can I even begin? Alex wasn’t just our dj, he pretty much helped us create a timeline for our entire day. He was our host, support system and truly helped us throw the best celebration. Our guests LOVED him they are still talking about how awesome our DJ was. For months, we jumped on calls to perfect the experience we wanted and Alex was so incredibly supportive the entire time. A week before our wedding we had to change our wedding and he was one of the first people we called. Within minutes he had lists of places to call. When we figured out a new venue he did everything he could to become familiar with the new space and the owner. We arrived to the reception with our vendors all knowing eachother like they were friends all along - it was so unified like one family coming together. Paul and Kris met in 1989 while playing in an orchestra in Wheaton, IL. They started the Brass String Chamber Ensemble in 1990 which quickly became very popular throughout Chicago and the suburbs. They have played over 2000 weddings and special events and have thousands of titles in their combined music library. The BSCE enjoys playing for ceremonies but also cocktail hour and during dinner. They are familiar with all traditional church ceremonies and also happy to play in banquet halls, country clubs, hotels, or even at a lovely home celebration. They are based in Naperville but travel throughout Chicago and the suburbs.

“Just to preface - I take wedding dance floors extremely seriously. I think it is make or break for the reception. My fiancé and I were trying to keep costs as low as we could and had our eyes on a few other DJ’s that were within our price range and had been good at other weddings until I stumbled on DJ One Chance. I knew from the second I saw his Instagram that I needed to have him at our wedding. His energy, charisma, and ability to read the room is incredible. He was a bit out of our original price range (which was very low to begin with, keep in mind) and I can absolutely tell you that he is worth every single penny. Every planning meeting we had with him got us more and more excited to have him with us on the day of. He listened to the vibe and energy we were going for and could not have done a better job. My parents were blown away that for a bit of a tight dance floor and 200 guests, the dance floor was PACKED from 8:30 - Midnight. Some quotes we received from friends were “I haven’t danced that much at a wedding in a long time” - Rick, 59 years old and “Your DJ was insane. He knew which songs were hits with the crowd and kept the energy going” - MK, 30. He was a hit with every age group and we are forever indebted him for creating the dance floor of our dreams. I have never seen so many people compliment a wedding DJ or a dance floor so passionately. DJ One Chance worked with us seamlessly to make sure we were able to have the best day ever. He even let us request one more last song after the “last song” that we picked ourselves didn’t hit as hard as we wanted. If you want the best dance floor experience for your wedding - this is your guy. Could not recommend any more.”

“We truly could not have asked for a better DJ experience for our wedding! From the very beginning, Alex made the entire planning process feel easy, organized, and completely stress-free. He was always responsive, helpful, and genuinely cared about making our day exactly what we wanted. Then came wedding day — and DJ Bob absolutely crushed it. He kept the energy high all night long and somehow always knew exactly what song to play next. Even during moments when the dance floor slowed down, he kept the vibe fun, upbeat, and entertaining so the party never felt awkward or dull. He also kept everyone laughing and made the whole night feel so natural and enjoyable. What impressed us even more was how professional and smooth everything was behind the scenes. There were a few technical difficulties during the night, and honestly, we never would have known if we hadn’t been told afterward. DJ Bob handled everything so calmly and seamlessly that the energy never dropped for a second. That level of professionalism made such a huge difference and kept the night running perfectly.
