SO Rhythm & lights was founded in 1989. And the premise is really simple, simple pricing that includes everything we got. We only have two add ons. If you need the ceremony, and if you want a photobooth. Our teams going to setup all the lighting, and give you their all every single time, because the price doesnt dictate if they do that. We got you covered from every aspect. We do not do hourly rates, so no need to worry about the smallest details. BEcause we worry about the smallest details. You can just have FUN at your wedding.

Pricing and experience. Everyone on our teams done 200 weddings or more. So we have the most experience team out there. We love doing this, and have had really great parties! Our Staff is committed to going above and beyond. sweeping floors, helping in way they can.

    I would not recommend hiring Rhythm and Lights, or any of Rob’s companies, for your wedding. Choosing them for our DJ and photobooth was a dark spot on our otherwise wonderful wedding and caused us significant stress throughout the entire process. Even months after our wedding, we are still dealing with unresolved issues. We experienced multiple problems with their booking system, including incorrect or missing services on our contract, invoices repeatedly sent for payments we had already made, and duplicate event entries with different DJs and client portals. Whenever we raised concerns, Rob would assure us he would fix them, but then fail to follow through or ignore us entirely. Two weeks before the wedding, we still had not spoken with our DJ. When I reached out to ask when we would connect, Rob told me that the DJs were very busy and typically reached out only 5–10 days before the event. Three days before the wedding, having still heard nothing, I contacted the DJ directly and we were able to speak that night, which was somewhat reassuring. However, the day before the wedding, the DJ asked for my husband’s and my names because he did not have them, raising concerns about how little information had been provided to him in advance. On the wedding day, the DJ was scheduled to arrive at 3:00 p.m. per our call, but did not arrive until after 4:00 p.m., with no notice of the delay from either the DJ or Rob. Our ceremony began at 5:00 p.m. Once he arrived, the DJ himself did a good job, which was a relief given everything leading up to the day. Our biggest issue involved the digital photobooth we paid for. It was supposed to text photos to guests during the event and provide us with a final album afterward. The day after the wedding, guests informed us that no one received any photos via text, and the names displayed on the photo overlays were not ours, but the best man’s names instead. We notified Rob, who promised to fix the overlay and send us the album. After repeated follow-ups and broken promises, we did not receive the photo album until three months after the wedding. When the album finally arrived, the photos still displayed the incorrect names. At that point, the DJ stated that we would be refunded for the photobooth due to the issues. No refund was ever sent. Instead, after we requested the promised refund and stated we would fix the photos ourselves, we later received another version of the photos that were supposedly “fixed.” The overlay consisted only of our names in plain black text that did not match the original design or wedding theme at all. We reiterated that we were expecting the refund we had been promised. To this day, we have not received any refund or further communication. Throughout this process, communication with Rob has been inconsistent, dismissive, and at times condescending. Promises were repeatedly made and broken, and he even admitted at one point that he had not checked on our photos despite earlier assurances. When I raised concerns after noticing similar negative reviews describing the same issues, Rob dismissed them and told me to “take reviews with a grain of salt.” It is clear that client concerns are not a priority, with excuses frequently given about being too busy, sick, or traveling. I do not recommend Rhythm and Lights unless you are comfortable feeling as though they are doing you a favor by simply providing a service you already paid for.

    Everything seemed so promising at the beginning... Rob (the owner) had been incredibly communicative at the start when we booked them about a year out. However, the company did not have a DJ ready to go for our wedding day. This resulted in meetings missed by Rhythm and Lights and no communication with the DJ for our wedding until the week before (and we had to pester to initiate communication). Unfortunately, while this 3rd party DJ was great (yeah not even directly through the company, it was a 3rd party guy), many things went wrong. The issues we had were a direct result of a DJ being thrown into a gig last minute by a company that clearly didn't care about our day. The song I walked down the aisle to was incorrect, the sound system at the reception was strange so guests couldn't properly hear the DJ, the DJ was texting me (the BRIDE) the morning of my wedding day with questions, and most of the songs we wanted to be played were overlooked. This is NOT a hit on this 3rd party DJ. He did great with what he was given and he crushed it. It was 100% on Rhythm and Lights for dropping the ball and leaving us in the dust.

    We worked with Alicia from Rhythm and Lights and could not have been happier. Prior to the wedding, she was very attentive in ensuring she knew all the information from the online sheet we filled out and asking any questions to fill in the blanks. The day of, she was incredibly accommodating and made sure to get our guests involved and loud (despite being a smaller wedding)! She made requests work even if timing was tight, and was impeccable and detail-oriented throughout the night. Thank you so much to Rhythm & Lights and Alicia for making our night perfect.

    Rhythm & Lights was an outstanding choice for our wedding DJ. From the very first interaction, Mitch and Robert were great to work with - they were knowledgeable, communicated quickly, and were extremely flexible in accommodating all of our music requests. On the day of, they made sure we got the exact music we wanted, and even let us hop on the mic to sing a few songs. Their fun and laid-back approach was exactly what we were looking for, and they helped make our reception an absolute blast. We couldn't be happier with the value and quality of their services. Highly recommend them to any couple looking for an amazing wedding DJ!
