“The Rose is such a wonderful venue. We had our wedding here in November and it went perfectly! The event coordinator, Patricia, put in an immense amount of work with us getting everything just right. She kept us on track for deadlines, helped organize all decorative details, and helped us coordinate with vendors. Her recommended vendors were great and she has a great working relationship with all of them. She really focused on making the day easy for us. During the event, she was available to handle any requests that we had. She kept us well-hydrated and made sure we had plenty of time to regroup between the ceremony and reception. The space is a historic building that has a vintage charm, including an excellent bar on the 2nd floor mezzanine, moody lighting, and a sophisticated feel. It's located in the heart of Golden, right by Clear Creek. The whole day was very beautiful.”

“Ivy has photographed four major life events for my family now. From our engagement to wedding to maternity to newborn photos, she captured so many of our most important memories that we can treasure forever so beautifully. In planning a wedding with a goal of staying under Colorado’s average wedding cost, I was deep in the Internet and Instagram profiles looking for a photographer that was affordable without sacrificing quality. I found two and was leaning more toward Ivy anyway, but blindly showed my fiancé at the time samples of the two photographers’ portfolios. He immediately chose Ivy’s without knowing anything about who the photographer was, cost, or any other details. He gave the reasoning that her photos were so vibrant and real-looking and he wanted our days captured in the same way. As soon as we got on the phone for our consultation call with Ivy, we immediately clicked. She then made us feel so comfortable in the engagement session and we really got to get to know each other in preparation for our big wedding day. She then requested the wedding day schedule and even helped us make decisions to build that schedule based on not only what would give us the best photo opportunities but also what would work better for us based on what she knew and getting to know us. Because she has so much experience and cares so deeply about her clients, she actually doubled as a second wedding coordinator for the day-of. She made the day flow so stress-free and took a lot of responsibility upon herself to make sure the day was absolutely perfect. Her portfolio speaks for itself as far as photography quality, her abilities, and capturing the best moments, but it’s the personal touch that you don’t get to see in her portfolio at earns her the highest five star rating. Even in the shoots outside of our wedding, she was so gentle and patient with our dogs and newborn baby, putting us so ease in what could have been stressful situations prepping for a photo session. I want to yell from the mountain tops that everybody should trust Ivy when looking for a photographer for those important moments. If you’re reading this review in order to select a photographer, you can go ahead and just book her now. After the most important photo shoots of our lives over the past year I can promise you that you won’t regret it.”

“Keri was amazing to work with for our May wedding! At the beginning of the process, I didn't have very specific guidance for my wedding florals at all other than I wanted mostly white flowers with maybe one or two pale accent colors, and that I liked tulips. Keri worked with me on our consultation call to understand my underlying vision and come up with a plan and budget. She was very easy to work with through the process as I tweaked the number and type of arrangements, and helped keep the prices reasonable. The day of, the flowers were GORGEOUS. She sourced exactly what I asked for plus some unique flowers, and I got multiple comments from guests about how pretty it looked. She nailed the vibe I was going for - bridal, classy, elegant, but not too stuffy or overly curated. I loved all of it! On top of all that she was so responsive, friendly, and a pleasure to work with before, during and after the event, and her pricing was reasonable relative to other wedding florists I had gotten quotes from. I would HIGHLY recommend Keri to anyone looking for an amazing wedding florist!”

“We cannot thank Justin and Lesley enough for how special they made our entire wedding. The first thing that impressed us was Justin’s app that we could easily load music into from Apple Music or Spotify and how organized it was for what songs we wanted and when they should be played (e.g. open dancing, cocktail hour, father daughter dance, dinner music, etc). Justin handled all of the audio for our wedding ceremony and has an amazing wireless, battery-operated set-up so there is no need to rely on a generator, which was great since we were outdoors on top of a mountain! He had a mic on the lapel of the groom and our officiant so that I, as the bride, did not have to worry about wearing one and between the two mics all of the ceremony audio (speech, vows, etc) was picked up flawlessly. At the reception, Justin had an awesome set up that looked super clean and modern but also had fun lighting to get the party going. He was an excellent MC for all of our big announcements and could perfectly read the crowd to keep the dance energy up. His wife, Lesley, was also wonderful as the photo booth attendant. I knew we would get copies of all the photos taken, but coming home with all the photos arranged in a guestbook signed by our guests was a nice touch! Highly recommend, they are a dream team.”

“Christine of Antler Run photography was ABSOLUTELY amazing to work with! My husband and I did a lot of research finding an elopement photographer and were nervous being it was out of state for us. I booked with Antler Run a year in advance and Christine kept in touch with me during the lead up to the shoot. We changed plans and she was happy to work with us on it. She actually looked at my Pinterest inspo and gave me exactly the vision I had very easily. We had 15 sneak peek pics 5 days later and THEY. ARE. PHENOMENAL. “The Oaks venue was truly such a remarkable experience for our wedding!! The Oaks team’s attention to detail is unmatched, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Leading up to the wedding, Alex and Luna were so timely with answering any questions we had. The client resources were thorough and allowed us to put together the final touches. The staff were so incredibly kind and helped with anything we needed. On top of that, the venue itself is so stunning and modern. My bridesmaids had a blast getting ready in the bridal suite, it was huge and the staff always checked in on us. The groomsmen had so much fun with the simulator and playing games, they wish they arrived earlier to enjoy it more. “Balistreri Vineyards was an amazing wedding venue for our special day. Their communication was easy and they always replied to us quickly, with no issues. We are a homeowner's association with a rental facility known as The Grange, which is located 30 minutes between Denver and CO Springs. Opened in 2004, The Grange seamlessly blends rustic charm with contemporary amenities. Central aspects include natural light, grand ceilings, a bar and prep kitchen, a covered patio with heating capabilities, and a perimeter of garage doors for a free-flowing indoor/outdoor concept. Renting with us is “DIY” - We provide the venue, plus some amenities, and you bring it to life (no required vendors). Please note we are NOT an all-inclusive venue and our rates are HOURLY. Refer to the FAQs to see if we are the right venue for your event!

“Hosted a wedding for 80 people at The Grange and it was perfect! Beautiful building and covered outdoor space. Great options to customize the space included having the large garage style doors open, gas fireplaces, heaters, adjustable lighting, variety of table sizes, plenty of chairs and a sound system. The kitchen and bar area were great since the party was self-catered. The Grange staff was very helpful and kind. Highly recommend this venue and the price cannot be beat!”

“Mount Vernon Canyon Club truly is the perfect place to get married. I don’t think I have enough good things to say about them or the people who work there. Barbara is an absolute ray of sunshine. I would adopt her if I could. Seriously. She is just one of those people that instantly makes you feel taken care of. I think she told me she’s been doing weddings for 25 years and it shows. She knows her stuff. If you have an outside coordinator, listen to Barbara’s feedback and suggestions because she has seen everything and genuinely wants your day to be successful. Also, Angel is the bar manager from heaven. I have never had cocktails so delicious in my life. We had kiwi margaritas and a bourbon brown sugar/vanilla Manhattan, which sounds a little ridiculous when I type it out, but I would happily drink both every day for the rest of my life. We had a pretty specific vision and he absolutely nailed it. We are also a crowd that likes to drink and at no point did people have to wait forever for a beverage, which was honestly impressive. I know Will was one of our bartenders and there was another woman who was incredible that I cannot remember her name right now, but once I figure it out I’ll come back and update this review because she deserves a shoutout too! Also, thank you to Nicole, who helped me navigate some wedding-related hiccups after the fact that had absolutely nothing to do with Mount Vernon. She didn’t have to help and she did anyway. The views are spectacular, but honestly what stands out most is the people. There are a lot of beautiful wedding venues in Colorado. What makes Mount Vernon special is that the people genuinely care about your wedding and about you. We felt so loved and supported throughout this process and are so grateful we got to celebrate our day there.”

“I was lucky enough to work with Josiah and Paige for my wedding in February and they were outright amazing. I had zero issues working with them. I don't mean that in a way where there were small things I didn't like but looked over-NO. I truly had zero issues with both of them or any of the people on their team for the day of hair and make up services. Before my big day, I booked two separate hair and make up trials where I asked for completely different things and at either trials they both arrived on time and did exactly the look I asked for. Then, the WEEKEND OF my wedding I realized I couldn't exactly pick between the two different looks and I humbly asked if Josiah could somehow combine the two looks from my trials for a "soft glam" look and he delivered. I have never felt so pretty. Same exact situation with my hair. Josiah and Paige were so patient and friendly and kind! There team worked quickly and efficiently on the day of my wedding to do hair and make up for most of my bridal party plus my mother and my mother in law- and a surprise person who changed her mind from doing her own make up to asking for it done! We even got little personalized touch up kits to reapply any lipstick or pin up any additional hair. I highly highly recommend this team of amazing professionals. I never leave review s for anything but they all should be recognized for their dedicated work. “Bethany from Elevate (with the help of Emily) photographed our wedding in November 2024, and I truly couldn’t have imagined a more perfect experience.
