“Anne is a highly skilled photographer and an overall awesome human being! This was the 2nd marriage for both me and my now-husband. We knew we wanted to have a photographer, but we didn’t want to spend an exorbitant amount of money. Our initial communication with Anne was a short phone call to determine her availability, the overall size and timing of the wedding, what we were hoping for, and scheduling a time so she could see the venue (our back deck overlooking a lake) and the reception area (a nearby restaurant). In our 1st meeting, Anne asked all the right questions, and even some that we didn’t consider. Her thoroughness, professionalism and knowledge of her art was evident in our meeting. We showed her where we would have the ceremony, and we walked around to where we could take photos after the wedding (the lake behind our house). Then we drove to the restaurant where we would have the reception, and Anne sat with us and the General Manager of the restaurant to get a full idea of how the reception would flow. Anne took notes throughout this entire meeting. Anne even joined our casual rehearsal the evening before the wedding to test out her equipment and to make sure she would be prepared for the framing of certain aspects of the ceremony. As the bride, I wasn’t attached to having photographs of getting dressed, or having pictures of my dress or shoes, etc. But Anne not only offered up those options, she took it upon herself to get to the wedding early and take pictures of all the preparations, anyway. I am SO GLAD she did! When the day came, Anne was able to capture the ENTIRE day, from before the ceremony, through to the end at our reception. The pictures are AH-MAZING! The area where we had our ceremony had very challenging lighting because it was outside, but the roof on our deck was tinted, and the sun was spotty in many places depending on where you stood. Nonetheless, in every shot we received in our gallery, Anne managed to find the sweet spot in all the shots— clear images, beautiful color, wonderful translations to black & white. It was a small wedding, 27 people total including Anne, plus me and my groom. She coached, cajoled, and encouraged everyone in the group shots to show their true personalities. As for the photos of me and my groom postwedding… WOW! Anne captured it all— magical, spontaneous, heartfelt, funny, and just perfect! The same could be said of the reception— all photos of our guests, the toasts, our connection with the restaurant staff, the live music, the food and our two cakes. The whole day was absolutely and perfectly recorded! In addition to the hundreds of photos included in our final gallery, Anne created a short video (less than two minutes) highlighting a handful of shots that, if one sees it, can get the gist of our day. It was such a bonus since I didn’t recall that was part of our agreement. As a person, Anne is warm and friendly, genuine and thoughtful, creative and considerate. Her communication skills and our interactions through email, text and phone calls were timely, and in-person appointments were punctual. If you read through this entire review, you MUST contact Anne yourself and see what she has to offer you. If you are prepared, have a vision of what you want for your day, can voice your ideas, concerns, and questions, then Anne can meet you where you are and deliver a spectacular record of photos that you can treasure for a lifetime!”

“Our experience with Northwoods Band was absolutely fantastic. From the very beginning, they were attentive, generous, and friendly in their communication, making the planning process a breeze. On the day of our wedding, they exceeded our expectations with their awesome, high energy, and professional performance. The lead singer, Austin, played several acoustic songs that we requested for our ceremony and cocktail hour that sounded incredible. Then, at the reception, the full band played an amazing 2-hour set, nailing all the songs we had requested, including a TOOL song! We're more into rock music so chose accordingly but they have a variety of genres in their repertoire, suitable for most preferences of music. We had so many guests come up to us afterwards to rave about how great the band was - they truly made our wedding 1000% more awesome, and all at a very reasonable price. “We had a wonderful experience working with Brus and the full Spruce Mountain team. They think of everything when it comes to logistics, and we didn't have to worry about a thing from the moment we showed up on wedding day until the end of the night. Our experience touring the venue a year and a half ago, coming back for the Wine & Nosh event, and doing our 30 day walk through all made the planning process so smooth and exciting for us and our families. The multiple ceremony locations are all gorgeous, and we were thrilled to be able to get married mountainside with the natural beauty of Colorado in the background. Our guests loved cocktail hour and the indoor/outdoor dinner & dancing set up. Spruce is truly a 5 star wedding venue because of its natural beauty and the organization/care the team takes in scoping out all the details, like 2 beautiful getting ready suites for the bridesmaids & groomsmen, shuttles to take guests up mountainside, and open air string lights for late night dancing. Spruce is also a popular spot that many of our vendors were familiar with, which made logistics even smoother since our bartenders, caterer, DJ, planner, and florist had all done multiple weddings at Spruce before and had great recommendations on what could work well with our vision. We hope to come back for future events and are so happy to have gotten married at Spruce!”

“Hands down the best wedding venue, hosts and staff we could ever ask for! When we toured Mountain Crust a year ago, we fell in love with the down-to-earth, backyard style wedding that we had always dreamed of. From day one, the Mountain Crust team went out of their way to ensure we had the most amazing day ever. Leading up to the event, the team was constantly in contact with us to ensure we had every detail planned and prepared. As with any event, last minute changes are inevitable but the Mountain Crust team was always there to help us with the planning and execution. Fast forward to the day of, and I wish I could say how many times I thought "this is the most perfect day ever." The Love Shack getting ready suite was a perfect place for the Bride to get dressed, and be removed from the stress of the day. When I say stress, I should emphasize that the Mountain Crust team removed every bit of concern or stress we had - and it was just the stress of standing up infant of a bunch of friends and family and having the most epic party. After our ceremony on the lawn, the Mountain Crust team went to work - pouring hundreds of drinks, serving hundreds of pizzas and ensuring our guests were always taken care of to the highest standard. The Mountain Crust team truly made the difference between a "good" night or a "good" venue and one that us, nor or guests, will ever forget for the rest of our lives. If you are considering a backyard wedding, a reception - or even just a fun event, we cannot recommend the Mountain Crust team higher. Mountain Crust has several options of budgets, food and drinks to fit your needs and they are more than willing to work with you guests that may have dietary restrictions. “We had our wedding at The Rose Event Center in September 2025 and the entire process was a DREAM! The venue is stunning and has so much character - exactly what we were looking for! This was our 4th venue we toured and I knew it was the one the moment we started to walk through. Both Patricia and Emily were incredible to work with. They were extremely prompt and organized in every email and conversation we had. What we loved the most is that this is an all-inclusive venue -- something that is not very typical with other venues. The transparency in the price and what it includes were 100% exact & there were no hidden fees. We loved working with their recommended vendor (elite entertainment) for our DJ and decor. That is the only outside vendor, besides our photographer & makeup/hair people. We chose to add extra time and have access to the venue earlier on our wedding day so that both parties could get ready at the venue and I highly recommend doing that! We both had breakfast at nearby restaurants and timed everything out so that the girls would arrive first to start getting ready. The bridal space upstairs is gorgeous and perfect for getting ready with your girls. We had our first look in the state room (bar upstairs) and it was the perfect intimate moment we wanted. We sent our wedding party & parents down to the park (2 blocks away) by the river and walked down there after our first look for family/bridal party photos - a true dream without having to coordinate transportation. I cannot recommend The Rose and their staff enough. The food was delicious and our guests enjoyed being able to explore up on the mezzanine level throughout the night. (*inside tip - you can go to the Buffalo Rose next door and do a wine tasting before making your wine selections!) Make sure you get the Churros for dessert! Our *only* regret is that we didn't have more dessert for out guests -- it ran out very quickly as we had more guests stay than expected and everyone wanted the churros (we did the dessert bar with 4 different varieties) Book your tour at The Rose Event center - you won't regret it!”

“First off, the location is beautiful and so is the inside. Lots of different types of venues within the building so super customizable. I was there for a holiday party on 12/2/22 and was so impressed. I got to see each space they had and it was beautifully decorated. Great staff, very clean (including the bathrooms) and I would definitely go back to any event being held there or highly considerate for my own event in the future!”

Here at the Franciscan Event Center in Centennial, Colorado we have everything you need to successfully host your next special event. We only host to one event per day, which means you exclusively have our entire event center at your fingertips! We have an indoor facility that can easily be segmented depending on your event’s needs which seats around 385 people comfortably.
