“JayLynn was the absolute BEST day of coordinator we could have asked for on our big day! She was so so helpful! She came to our hotel room to pick up the decor and when she arrived the first thing she said was “do you need anything?! What can I do for you?”. She created the perfect timeline for the day and sent it out to all of our vendors so the day went smoothly. She took the extra flowers we had and I told her “do with these what you will” and she used them perfectly! We had a memorial chair for my husbands parents who had passed and she put the flowers there as well as on our cake! I was so impressed with how she used the flowers. The venue was set up exactly how I wanted and it was even more stunning than I expected. JayLynn was on time to pick up the decor and I never once had to stress about her or the set up. I truly did not have to stress at all on our big day and it meant the world to me. All night JayLynn was helping me with either carrying my train, helping me in the bathroom when needed, and even coming up and asking if there was anything I needed. She helped my maid of honor bustle my dress and change my shoes for the reception. At the end of the night JayLynn brought all of our decor back to the hotel for us!! She ended up staying in the same hotel and I’m so so glad she did because I’m sure she had a super busy day and we didn’t want her to drive home from Frisco at midnight. JayLynn was such a sweetheart and made everything run so smoothly. There was not a second in our day that wasn’t smooth and that is because of HER!! We had the absolute best day of our lives and we know that it wouldn’t have been possible without all of her help. JayLynn, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your hard work and your commitment to making our day perfect! We appreciate you and the work you do SO MUCH!! I know that I probably missed so many of the things she did for us because she did it all but we are forever grateful for her and her help!”

“I had the pleasure of working with Shannon for both my rehearsal dinner and my wedding. Shannon was an angel. Extremely professional, prompt, and pleasant. I am a little scatterbrained in the best of times, and she gracefully communicated with me and clarified when I neglected details. I have thin, fine hair which is resistant to holding curl, and I came to her with a request that she give me a half-up half-down hair with curl, and I wanted a style WITHOUT extensions. She didn’t blink, didn’t once worry about my hair volume or push the idea of extensions, and created exactly the hair I wanted. I also had five women in my bridal party and my mother get their hair and makeup done, all with different hair style requests, types, and preferences, and she knocked it out of the park with them too. With seven people and a tighter timeline, she had a second artist with her, who was fabulous as well. I didn’t have to find anyone else; Shannon took care of everything. She traveled to different locations for the rehearsal dinner and the day-of, did different hair styles, and was done in a shockingly efficient amount of time. On top of it all, she charges a reasonable price for her services: she is highly skilled but does not charge the exorbitant mark-up for wedding related services which I encountered with other wedding hair and makeup artists. I got a million compliments on my wedding hair and makeup, as well as gratitude and delight from my beloved bridesmaids. Even my mother, who I did assume would be unenthused by her hair and makeup as she is quite particular, was thrilled and could not stop admiring their work in the mirror (!!!). To top it all off: after a full day and night of sweating, dancing, crying, laughing, and non-stop moving, my hair and makeup remained perfect! If you want wedding makeup and hair that is beautiful and expertly done, Shannon is the way to go. Thank you again, Shannon, for making my wedding hair and makeup dreams come true.”

Christian the owner, communicated with us in a quick, direct, and pleasant manner throughout the planning process, providing helpful information that guided us to a wonderful event. The venue itself has a hip, cozy vibe while still being budget-friendly with a feeling of class. They were accommodating of our guests' dietary needs and had great suggestions that contributed to an amazing experience overall. The courtyard offered an amazing spot for our ceremony and some beautiful photos. From start to finish, The Lobby Venue's knowledgeable team ensured our special day went smoothly. “Jenn was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding day! She spent 3 hours with me during our trial, creating intricate braids and putting flowers all over my hair as I had asked (I was going for boho/fairytale vibes, it was a barn wedding after all!). I ended up changing my hairstyle a bit from the trial to only one side up, so that the other side could swoop down with more volume as I was used to. I also decided that I wanted the flowers pinned in a cluster instead of all through my hair. Jenn was very creative and adaptive, and the final style was absolutely gorgeous. With the killer makeup (natural and elegant), I felt like a princess on my wedding day. She also did a beautiful job with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law’s hairstyles. Perhaps most importantly, Jenn is a real sweetheart and put me at ease the morning of my wedding. It was really helpful to have that easygoing, positive energy on a very overwhelming morning.
