The Denver Athletic Club is a private membership owned club that was established in Denver in 1884. The DAC moved to it’s current location in 1892 and has expanded in the years since to now occupy the entire city block. Second only to it’s namesake amenity (our athletic facilities), the event spaces we have on premises are classic, elegant and charming to any event attendees we host! We do all catering in house and have an amazing Executive Chef that delivers incredible plated dinners and buffets! Our venue rental includes tables, chairs, chinaware, glassware, and access to setup décor, all day. In the 1890s, the Lindquist Cracker Company constructed a three-story brick factory on the site of ReelWorks. Goldberg Brothers Tinners purchased that factory in the 1920s. At the time, Goldberg Brothers, the second-largest employer in Colorado behind the Adolf Coors Brewing and Manufacturing Company, owned and ran a number of companies, including "the factory on Walnut," as it was colloquially known. Despite producing thousands of various metal objects, Goldberg Brothers is most known for being the world's largest producer of cinema reels.
