10/10 The Best!!!!!!!

From the moment we booked Cat, she was invested in making our day (and entire wedding season) special. Cat is not someone who will just show up on wedding day to take pictures, she’s truly soooo much more!! Her thoughtful approach and genuine kindness made planning feel easy and stress-free (seriously photos were the one thing I was like okay cool I don’t have to worry at all about this, Cat’s got it), and she went above and beyond every step of the way. On the day itself, Cat and her second shooter Anna were integrated into everything, capturing candid moments that felt true and honest while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. They were SO fun, easy to have with us all day, slotted right into our entire vibe, party, all of it. Our guests have also been nonstop about how fun and great they were day of, as well as how beautiful the pics turned out. Which, speaking of the photos themselves - I could just die they’re so amazing. I was very clear that I wanted to be in the moment, have fun, and I didn’t want to take too much time for portraits but that I still wanted some. Cat took this and ran with it. The pics feel like US, and represent our day and our love. And I look INCREDIBLE in them. She nailed it. I seriously cannot recommend her enough. If you want documentary style, candid, in the moment pics - this is your girl.

Working with Catherine was such a pleasure! Not only are the photos AMAZING, but she treated our big day like it was just as important to her as it was to us. Cat was amazing to work with at every stage of the wedding process! From planning, to the day of, and beyond. She captured our wedding day authentically, put us at ease, and instilled confidence even though we’re not naturally comfortable in front of the camera! The quality of the pictures exceeded our expectations and immortalized every detail of our wedding day!

Y’all I just had my couples session with Catherine today and I haven’t gotten the photos back (which is obvious because I still have my makeup on!!!) and let me just say… wow. I’ve worked with many photographers in the past when helping them build their portfolios with freelance work. But I’ve never worked with a well seasoned professional before. The direction Catherine gives you makes things SO EASY and I don’t think I stopped smiling the entire time. The one thing I really valued during this session is her attention to capturing real, raw, casual, and intimate personality. From “lay on this blanket in XYZ way just like how you would cuddle on the couch” to “just talk about what you’re going to have for dinner tomorrow night” like come onnnnn *chefs kiss*. I should have taken notes on her communication skills, honestly. My husband and I had a blast and truthfully we really needed this time together to connect, and just really appreciate one another without any distractions. And Catherine gave us that opportunity. We felt so comfortable just being ourselves and I know I am going to cry when we see the results of our session. I’m hoping to convince our friends to elope out here and recommend Catherine to be their photographer. When we have children (which is hopefully soon!!!) I’ll be calling her to take all of our photos from the pregnancy announcement, to maternity photos, and even newborn photos if she offers them. Book the session and forget about the other photographers, because you won’t have an easier time in front of the camera.
