“Spruce Mountain was the best venue we could have possibly chosen. My fiancé was sold from the pictures online and when we toured, I spent the whole time just breathless. We were on the upper ranch with the ceremony on Trey's Vista (stunning), cocktail hour in the Spruce Room, and reception in the Ponderosa Room. Communication with them was easy, Tara was our representative and she happily answered all of our questions and communicated seamlessly without overloading our inbox. She even provided me with a preferred vendors list of vendors they have worked with before which created a great starting place for finding vendors. I was a bit skeptical of their requirement of a Day of Coordinator, but I am so thankful that they required it. We didn't have to lift a finger on the wedding day, I wasn't being asked a million questions, it was fantastic. On the wedding day, our property manager came to introduce herself and told us where to find her if we needed her, there was music playing on the TV in the bridal suite, everything was so clean and perfectly set up to start the day. All of our guests could not stop raving about the venue - the views at the ceremony site, having separate spaces for each part of the day, the mix of indoor and outdoor space for the cocktail hour and reception, and so many said "this sets my bar so high for weddings". If I could do my wedding all over again, I would book Spruce with no hesitation!!”

“Getting married at The Rose was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The venue itself is breathtaking.. it has so much history, character, and charm. It’s not just a place to host a wedding, it’s an experience. Many of our guests couldn’t stop talking about how unique and stunning the setting was, and how perfectly located it is. From the moment we walked in, it felt like the kind of place where memories live forever. The staff made the entire experience seamless. Everyone was kind, attentive, and on top of everything from the very beginning. We chose the Mexican buffet for dinner, and it was absolutely phenomenal.. our guests raved about it all night long. The bar service was also outstanding. Every bartender went above and beyond, keeping drinks full and energy high throughout the entire night. But as incredible as the venue and staff were, the absolute best part of our entire experience was Patrica. I don’t even know if words can do justice to who she is and what she did for us. I have never met someone so hardworking, caring, and genuinely passionate about their work. Her communication is extraordinary.. she doesn’t just keep you in the loop, she makes you feel completely supported and understood every step of the way. “Kevin was recommended to us through our wedding planner. Once we booked him, we were provided with a document where we could suggest songs for each portion of the evening. We were nervous about the dancing portion of the wedding since we only had 40 guests in attendance, but Kevin brought such great vibes that everyone was dancing all night! “We cannot thank Justin and Lesley enough for how special they made our entire wedding. The first thing that impressed us was Justin’s app that we could easily load music into from Apple Music or Spotify and how organized it was for what songs we wanted and when they should be played (e.g. open dancing, cocktail hour, father daughter dance, dinner music, etc). Justin handled all of the audio for our wedding ceremony and has an amazing wireless, battery-operated set-up so there is no need to rely on a generator, which was great since we were outdoors on top of a mountain! He had a mic on the lapel of the groom and our officiant so that I, as the bride, did not have to worry about wearing one and between the two mics all of the ceremony audio (speech, vows, etc) was picked up flawlessly. At the reception, Justin had an awesome set up that looked super clean and modern but also had fun lighting to get the party going. He was an excellent MC for all of our big announcements and could perfectly read the crowd to keep the dance energy up. His wife, Lesley, was also wonderful as the photo booth attendant. I knew we would get copies of all the photos taken, but coming home with all the photos arranged in a guestbook signed by our guests was a nice touch! Highly recommend, they are a dream team.”

“The Oaks is seriously the most incredible wedding venue. I have worked here countless times as a videographer, and every detail is always taken care of. From a behind-the-scenes perspective, I can tell you time and time again just how often I have seen the staff go out of their way to make sure each and every bride is taken care of. Their timing is also impeccable. From the ceremony start time to placing the very first dinner plate, the staff and coordinators are on it. I love getting to work here alongside their staff. “Cami was excellent to work woth! She communicated clearly and responded timely. She was accommodating to my schedule and made me feel comfortable planing everything from a different state. She was very helpful in planning for serving sizes and delivery and answered all questions I sent her way. We did a cake tasting and were blown away with every sample! She set up the display beautifully! We received so many compliments on the cake (vanilla/bavarian cream/fresh strawberries) and cupcakes (s’mores) by both kids and adults! Can’t thank her enough!”

“Balistreri Vineyards was an amazing wedding venue for our special day. Their communication was easy and they always replied to us quickly, with no issues. The quality of their work and value was outstanding - the venue was absolutely beautiful, and their pricing was great. They set up everything we needed for our wedding day and were able to accommodate us when the weather didn't cooperate. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married. They helped us with set up and clean up, and allowed us to use any vendor we wanted for the food, though their own delicious food was a huge hit with our guests. We are a homeowner's association with a rental facility known as The Grange, which is located 30 minutes between Denver and CO Springs. Opened in 2004, The Grange seamlessly blends rustic charm with contemporary amenities. Central aspects include natural light, grand ceilings, a bar and prep kitchen, a covered patio with heating capabilities, and a perimeter of garage doors for a free-flowing indoor/outdoor concept. Renting with us is “DIY” - We provide the venue, plus some amenities, and you bring it to life (no required vendors). Please note we are NOT an all-inclusive venue and our rates are HOURLY. “THE GOOD STUFF The Grange fit our needs really well for a 50 person baby shower. With the setup we chose, the room felt full but not crowded and allowed for ample room for people to move around. The fireplace added a nice atmosphere without making the room hot. The bathrooms and space were clean when we arrived. The Grange offers several table options which made it super easy for us to setup a kids zone, silent trivia area, and guest tables. Given that tables and chairs are included in the rental fee, it is fairly priced. A FEW BUMMERS While we wanted to have the garage doors open for an open-air feeling, it seemed that even the smallest bit of wind would knock over all of our decorations. Because we couldn't have the garage doors open, we did confine everything to indoors which changed our plans a bit with outdoor yard games as it wasn't super intuitive to go outside to the covered patio. We also would have liked to have been asked about the signage The Grange put outside. We had a co-ed baby shower but when we pulled up, the sign only listed the mother-to-be's name. Not a huge deal, but definitely could have been avoided. IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS A few things to note that may be important to you: 1. All setup, teardown, and cleaning is YOUR responsibility. So, if you don't want to haul tables and chairs, take out the trash, and mop the floor, this venue is not for you. (Note: We were made well aware of this prior to booking so it isn't a surprise but definitely a big consideration as it cuts into your rental time.) 2. The microphone works well for the main room but is very difficult to hear in the "back area" where the restrooms and food counters are. 3. When working on your budget, be sure to factor in the cost of getting event insurance as this is required and is an additional cost. (Again, we were made aware of this in advance so it wasn't a surprise.) 4. No table coverings/linens/tablecloths are provided so be sure you factor this into planning and your budget.”
