About this venue

Celebrate Milestones & Create Cherished Memories with The Meadows! We are a homeowner's association with a rental facility known as The Grange, which is located 30 minutes between Denver and Colorado Springs. Opened in 2004, The Grange seamlessly blends rustic charm with contemporary amenities. Central aspects include natural light, grand ceilings, a bar and prep kitchen, a covered patio with heating capabilities, and a perimeter of garage doors for a free-flowing indoor/outdoor concept. Renting with us is “DIY” - We provide the venue, plus some amenities, and you bring it to life (no required vendors). Please note we are NOT an all-inclusive venue and our rates are HOURLY. Hosted a wedding for 80 people at The Grange and it was perfect! Beautiful building and covered outdoor space. Great options to customize the space included having the large garage style doors open, gas fireplaces, heaters, adjustable lighting, variety of table sizes, plenty of chairs and a sound system. The kitchen and bar area were great since the party was self-catered. The Grange staff was very helpful and kind. Highly recommend this venue and the price cannot be beat!

We had our daughter's Halloween themed wedding in late October and The Grange was the perfect venue! Juli was so helpful with advice on set up and ideas of where to place everything. All the staff for the event was welcoming and very helpful. We were able to decorate and bring our own food and beverages which is what we were looking for in a venue. The building and grounds are beautiful and I highly recommend The Grange for your event!

THE GOOD STUFF The Grange fit our needs really well for a 50 person baby shower. With the setup we chose, the room felt full but not crowded and allowed for ample room for people to move around. The fireplace added a nice atmosphere without making the room hot. The bathrooms and space were clean when we arrived. The Grange offers several table options which made it super easy for us to setup a kids zone, silent trivia area, and guest tables. Given that tables and chairs are included in the rental fee, it is fairly priced. A FEW BUMMERS While we wanted to have the garage doors open for an open-air feeling, it seemed that even the smallest bit of wind would knock over all of our decorations. Because we couldn't have the garage doors open, we did confine everything to indoors which changed our plans a bit with outdoor yard games as it wasn't super intuitive to go outside to the covered patio. We also would have liked to have been asked about the signage The Grange put outside. We had a co-ed baby shower but when we pulled up, the sign only listed the mother-to-be's name. Not a huge deal, but definitely could have been avoided. IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS A few things to note that may be important to you: 1. All setup, teardown, and cleaning is YOUR responsibility. So, if you don't want to haul tables and chairs, take out the trash, and mop the floor, this venue is not for you. (Note: We were made well aware of this prior to booking so it isn't a surprise but definitely a big consideration as it cuts into your rental time.) 2. The microphone works well for the main room but is very difficult to hear in the "back area" where the restrooms and food counters are. 3. When working on your budget, be sure to factor in the cost of getting event insurance as this is required and is an additional cost. (Again, we were made aware of this in advance so it wasn't a surprise.) 4. No table coverings/linens/tablecloths are provided so be sure you factor this into planning and your budget.

Yes! The only limitation is you must hire a licensed and insured bartender if you have an event with 100+ guests OR are hosting a high school graduation party (regardless of guest count).

Yes! We offer free self-parking with handicapped spaces available.

Yes, you will be required to get Special Event Insurance through our provider. It averages around $120-$150.

Reservations require a minimum of 2 hours to book. We typically suggest you include 1 hour of set-up and 1 hour of clean-up when reserving your time block.

Our building is located ~40 miles away from DIA and ~50 miles away from COS. You can reach our venue by private car or Uber/Lyft.

The entire Grange building, preset room furniture, tables, chairs, rolling podium, room divider, rolling garment rack with hangers. Ask about our affordable enhancements!

No, staff are onsite only to check renters in and out, and ensure the event is running smoothly. Our facilities are “self-service”, which means the renters (or authorized representative) are responsible for set up, tear down, and light cleaning.

Nope! We just added a few vendors that we have worked with directly or our local to The Meadows community, but by no means are they required to use.

Events cannot extend past midnight. MNC facilities must be cleaned up by the User and vacated by midnight, no exceptions.

Yes, Douglas County has a 10:00pm noise ordinance. If using the sound system on the patio and/or with the garage doors open, you’ll be asked to move to the main hall for the remainder of your event.

Yes, we charge by the hour. The hourly rate is determined based on the day of the week your event is on (weekday or weekend) and if you are an MNC resident, MCA resident, or non-resident/business user. Rental pricing includes the hourly rate + special event insurance + refundable security deposit.

The Grange venue and patio are adjacent to our pool facility. The pool is NOT included in your rental nor can you pay for access - it is for residents only. Please note if you plan to host your event outside on the patio during pool season, it may be nosy. Parking may also be limited during the hours of operation. The pool is open Memorial Day weekend through August 18 from 10am - 8pm. From August 19 through Labor Day, the pool is open 10am - 6pm.
