When my husband and I started our journey to plan our wedding, I knew we were going to need some help. We are non traditional, with very eclectic tastes, and we were going to need someone special to help us pull off all of our insane ideas. I extensively researched over 20 coordinators, had a phones calls with 5 different companies, but ultimately I knew Ashley from Rose Event Co. was going to be the one. From the start she personable, intelligent, and made me feel understood in what our vision was for our special day. Throughout the process she was punctual with all of our appointments, gave helpful suggestions, and made me feel confident leaving my type A personality and needs in her hands. The weekend of the wedding came, and a lot of creative problem solving as well. We rented a private mansion for our event and did the rehearsal the day before. Ashley was there early, having already communicated with my other vendors and the venue to make sure we would be prepared for our big day. What we didn't expect was the kitchen under construction, furniture and decor that had not been moved at our previous requests(but promised), rooms that we had planned for, but could no longer use, and the Venue staff not "remembering" months worth of text and phone call conversations about our needs and expectations, as well as their promises and what they were supposed to deliver. There were other issues, but I digress. Ashley immediately stepped in with ideas and to be the go between with the Venue, and to help troubleshoot the long list of problems that had now come up. The night before was stressful for my Husband and I, not knowing if we were going pull this off, but I knew with Ashley, we were in good hands. The day of she brought her A game, a stunning red dress, and handled business. She was not afraid to get involved and make sure everything we wanted happened. She listened to our needs, knew when to step up or step down, was super flexible in our timeline and made sure to handle any issues that arose during the wedding. Her ability to read a situation and adapt to the issues at hand made her the perfect fit to our crazy ideas. She has incredible creative problem solving and is kind hearted and hard working. If it wasn't for Ashley, we could not have pulled off our day. I would recommend her 10x's over, to any bride that wants an absolute badass by their side. She handles business, and gives confidence to her clients. Thank you Ashley and Rose Event Co. for turning what could have been a disaster into a day dream!

All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. Overall we were blown away by Dana and her team’s professionalism and dedication to our wedding. Dana’s communications were always prompt, detailed, and thorough every step of the way, making the planning process a breeze. She lead our rehearsal too which is exactly what we needed. Her team also went above and beyond the day-of to ensure every aspect of our special day was executed flawlessly. Melisa and her team set up a mobile bar that made the party go all night long! We had a very unique set up and their flexibility was amazing! The custom drinks reflected my husband and I perfectly! She went above and beyond by providing a guide on how to prepare for the amount of alcohol for our wedding too! We LOVED working with Brittany. We had monthly meetings with her for over a year, from the venue search phase to the handoff to our month-of coordinator, and she was so helpful. She helped us with the searches for everything—venue, DJ, photography, day-of coordination, flowers, catering—and provided us timelines and organization tools that were genuinely invaluable. We had very little idea going in exactly what was needed to plan a wedding, but Brittany’s collaboration made us feel very on top of things. She also worked with us to troubleshoot things when issues arose (like our flower provider not following some of our communication requests). And an added bonus is that she’s fun to hang out with lol—we really enjoyed our monthly meetings!! Would absolutely recommend the Venlist (and Brittany specifically)!

Tyler has a lot of experience in the wedding industry and it shows! From the beginning she made it clear what the timeline would look like for our partnership - what would be needed and when. When I became a little overwhelmed half-way through planning, Tyler was able to pick up additional scope of work which was a huge relief at the time. She also saved me a huge headache by picking up and dropping off some of my rental items since the minimum order spend for delivery was more than double my rental quote (my wedding was in a pretty remote area so most companies charged a high fee for delivery). Tyler was very thoughtful and organized about the little details I didn't think of which showcases her high degree of experience and attention to detail. She wasn't afraid to push on things on behalf of myself and my husband with our wedding venue - which I really appreciated! We had great communication throughout the wedding planning process - centralizing information in a shared Google doc. Tyler was willing to review my own personal wedding planning documents as well. She was always quick to respond to emails or texts, and also let me know in advance if she was going to be delayed in responding. On the day-of, Tyler had a great demeanor - when I saw her I could tell she was getting down to business but she made sure to keep things calm and light with me - making sure I felt comfy and relaxed on my wedding day. She kept things moving in the wedding day so we kept pace with the timeline. She made sure to account for all the logistical things like where to store decor items before and after the event. She was fantastic at corralling all the wedding vendors, collecting all the documents and information and knew when to keep me in/out of the loop at all times. Overall I would highly suggest working with Tyler for her high degree of experience, organization, thoughtfulness, and overall pleasant demeanor.

Initially, I had not intended to use a wedding planner. However, as the day drew nearer, I knew there was no way I could plan two weddings (one cultural, one American) without help. I’m not sure I can express in words how grateful I am for Cassandra, but I’ll try. We hired Cassandra to plan our July 2025 wedding at Valhalla in South Lake Tahoe. Aesthetically: I am someone who considers myself somewhat of a creative, but not incredibly organized, and certainly not a planner. For my wedding I had a vision for what some things would look like, and I wanted to design a few things myself (stationery/paper goods/signage), and I had a general aesthetic vision for the wedding but I couldn’t begin to imagine how to plan a whole event. Cassandra met me exactly where I was, rolling with my ideas and filling them out with all the rest of the details perfectly. She has beautiful taste (photos of her past weddings is what initially drew me to her) and all of her ideas were excellent; I had a lot of fun in our planning meetings where she would show me several options for various tablescape components and we could talk through them and choose together. Visually, our wedding was a dream. Organizationally: We did a “partial planning” package, which meant that I was more in charge of hiring vendors in the year leading up to the wedding, and then she took over coordination 6 weeks out. This is the time where things start to get stressful (lots of emails coming in, friends and family all have questions, etc), so it was amazing to have Cass on my team, fielding all the incoming emails and knowing the answer to every single vendor question, and jumping in to help coordinate things for our welcome party (which I had originally said I didn’t need help with). Once the big day arrived, Cassandra was AMAZING. She was so on top of everything. We had a bit of a weather scare (looked like thunderstorms might roll in in the afternoon; our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner were all planned to be outside). It seemed like I should be stressed about this, but Cassandra assured me she had a plan A, B, C, and D, and all her staff prepared to do whatever needed to be done at any moment, so I felt shockingly unworried about the whole thing. (It did rain during our first look (the hour leading up to guest arrival), and was raining when guests arrived; she had had her staff bring a bunch of stuff inside, directed the bar staff to serve welcome drinks inside, and thankfully the rain cleared out quickly and they dried off the furniture moved everything back out to the lawn got everything back on track very quickly.) A bunch of our guests had interactions with Cassandra and couldn’t wait to tell me “your planner seems so great, I really like her!” I was nervous going into wedding planning because I had had many friends have frustrating experiences with wedding planners, but my experience could not have been better. It was a true collaboration, a fun time, and we are forever grateful to Cassandra for making it happen.

Hiring Brittany and Heirloom Design and Co was one of my best decisions. Brittany was my Day of Coordinator and she did a magnificent job! I was worried that my vision might not translate into reality; what if it was a flop? what if it looked too small compared to my vision? Once I met Brittany, I had nothing left to worry about.
