We appreciated how much care and thought was given during the discovery and planning part of the process. Gemma and the DJs took the time to understand our vision and fill in their expertise to whatever degree we wanted, without ever being pushy. This was important to us because for certain events we had a clear and specific vision (pretty much “play this playlist”) and for others we only had a high-level vision of the music/genres. We have to give a special nod to DJ Ty, who was the DJ through the main wedding reception (first dances, speeches, dance party): Ty went above and beyond in all ways. Beyond a superhuman sense of music and DJ’ing, he was humble, helpful, and keenly aware. He anticipated and proactively helped multiple members of the wedding party throughout the evening, and always focused on making it our best day, never drawing unnecessary attention to himself. Kelton provided an extensive list of potential songs to play in a shared Google Document with columns for “play” and “do not play” which was great. Also, I was impressed that he attended the walk through of the Whittemore House a month prior to the wedding, asking pertinent questions of the Whittemore staff about the placement of various things and how best to provide the sound amplification that would be needed. He provided wireless mics which worked really well for the toasts. Kelton did a great job as the master of ceremony and his mix of the selected music was fun and fabulous. He had the crowd dancing, rocking to the music. Many of the older folks told me that they hadn’t danced in years but were having lots of fun doing so then. Having him on our wedding team instilled so much confidence in me, my daughter and new son-in-law, who is an amateur DJ. They were so taken by Kelton that, if possible, they would like to attend future events at which Kelton is the DJ!! I HIGHLY recommend him.”

When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. “For our wedding, we wanted music that would be both traditional and yet also unique. We had already engaged a DJ to provide dance music for the main dinner reception. But for the cocktail hour, which would take place outside on a large terrace with spectacular views, we needed something very special and elegant. Looking around, we were immediately taken with Andrea Levine Artists (a/k/a “Miss Musique”). Her and her team’s delightful approach - a captivating mix of both well-known classical works and instrumental renditions of favorite pop and rock selections - fit perfectly with everything we had envisioned. Andrea’s excellent ideas illuminated the vague concepts we had in mind, and her team executed that vision beautifully! Moreover, her and her team’s responsiveness and meticulous attention to detail were of enormous help. In fact, they even caught a mistake we had made in planning out our selections (choosing something that we mistook for something else) and made the adjustment in time! Whether you have specific requests for the wedding atmosphere or prefer a smooth, no-frills execution, Kevin fits perfectly and will do his best to assist with the wedding. 2. “Jeff Krumrine & White Rose Productions were a 10/10 wedding DJ & entertainment, hands down. We had selected Jeff from word of mouth when he was at a prior company before starting White Rose and were thrilled that we were able to retain Jeff for our special day. Since day 1 Jeff was extremely responsive, educational, and professional throughout the entire process. You can feel the passion from Jeff in his work in every conversation and interaction. On the actual wedding day, Jeff showed up early and made sure everything was set up to perfection to avoid any issues. Jeff's energy on the mic throughout the day was phenomenal. I would highly recommend Jeff to anyone unsure of a DJ. Jeff's team of his assistant and photobooth operator were exceptional all day and night as well. The lighting that Jeff had set up was also a huge surprise when we saw how cool it was. The dance floor was packed the entire night and the best part of the night for many. We received a great deal of compliments during and after the wedding about how great Jeff was. Following the wedding, unbeknownst to us Jeff had created a short instagram video of our entire day edited flawlessly and was one of the highlights we could show people.
