“DJ Dan blew us out of the water from the very first call we had with him. His professionalism, communication, and positive, uplifting vibe was perfect for our evening. After 14 plus years DJing weddings across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, I know the fear is not just bad music. It is awkward MC moments, dead air, generic playlists, and a dance floor that never connects. My style combines real wedding experience with NYC nightlife instincts: live mixing, clean announcements, calm planning, and room reading that keeps every generation included without making the night feel forced.

Style Points DJs

Rating: 5.0 (42 reviews)

“DJ Style Points was incredible to work with and played a huge role in making our wedding night a massive success. Our guest list spanned multiple generations, so we really needed someone who knew how to read the room and keep everyone engaged. Matt understood this perfectly—he had the dance floor packed all night and blended the music seamlessly. Any concerns we had regarding song lengths or flow, he was already ahead of it. He uses a custom planning form that was incredibly thorough, which made it so easy for us to help structure our timeline and music preferences. It also didn't go unnoticed by our other vendors; they were all very complimentary of how well he managed the energy throughout the night. If you want a DJ who is organized, professional, and a true master at keeping the party going, look no further!”

Hi! My name is Matt and I am the owner and head DJ of Style Points DJs. I began DJing in 2016 with my friend Jerry after discovering a mutual love for electronic dance music from the likes of Zedd, Martin Garrix, and Hardwell. I've found an overwhelming passion in DJing and event coordinating, so much so that I've worked tirelessly to do it full-time since 2021. I believe that the DJ is the cornerstone of wedding vendors and I do everything in my power to make sure that I can make the vision of your wedding into a reality.

At A Perfect Blend Entertainment, we’ve set the standard for a Hudson Valley wedding DJ – with over 1,500 satisfied couples, we know exactly what makes a memorable wedding. It’s that combination of a great mix of music and spending less time on the microphone. Our goal is to create an epic experience through music for couples getting married in the Hudson Valley, who believe music is a key part of their celebration.

“We loved working with APB from start to finish. Our wedding spanned two nights with two distinct themes, and both David and Mario did a fantastic job keeping the energy high throughout. David played an incredible mix of Indian music for our Sangeet, while Mario carried that same energy into our American reception the following night. Music was really important to us, and on our calls leading up to the big weekend, they both took the time to partner with us and craft the perfect vibe for us and our guests. Both nights guests couldn't stop telling us how amazing the DJs were and both David and Mario kept people dancing all night long! We could not recommend them enough!”

Perrone Bros. Entertainment

Rating: 5.0 (24 reviews)

Production company
Starts at $3,000
Serves Granite Springs, NY

Perrone Bros. Entertainment is the premier event production company in NY. Featuring the area's most exciting party band, Naked Soul (6X "Best Live Band" winner in Westchester Magazine from 2014 - 2019), we also offer specialty ensembles, soloists, DJs, and performance artists as well as live sound, lighting design, video/multimedia production, lounge furniture, photo booths, and more.

“Naked Soul (led by Tony and Tom Perrone) absolutely ROCKED at our wedding! Tons of friends and family told us during and afterwards that they were the best wedding band they'd seen, and we might be biased, but we agree wholeheartedly. They were also pretty great to work with, and as a result music was one of the least stressful parts of planning and one of the best memories of the event. The planning process was extremely professional — we had a few calls with Tony to talk over the vibe we were going for in the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance floor. They sent over a list of a couple hundred songs in their repertoire and we picked 20 or so to anchor their idea of what we were looking for and selected our processionals, recessional, first dance, and parent-child dances. Our first dance was not on their list but they learned it and killed it in their performance. Our venue was a little non-traditional (relatively small room for the dance floorband) and we weren't sure that a full band was going to work in the space, but Tony put us at ease and pulled it off amazingly. One of the points Tony made in the run-up was that the songs we were picking were recommendations, not a set list. The band was going to follow the vibe and play more of whatever style was working with the crowd. This made it so much easier for us to pick songs, and in the end they played a lot of stuff that wasn't in our pics but went over better than we could have dreamed. I never thought I'd say that the best songs at my wedding were from the Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, and Black Eyed Peas. They knew their audience and the place went wild when they played Everybody (Backstreet's Back). The range of songs that a 10-piece band with a full array of vocalists can pull off is wild. Anyway, 10/10, would book again. If you're in the New York area and looking for a party we can't recommend Perrone Bros/Naked Soul highly enough. Bonus, these pics were taken by Tony and posted to their Instagram after the event.”

“Working with Justin was truly incredible. My husband and I felt like we hit the jackpot finding him. Live music during the ceremony, live jazz during the cocktail hour, AND DJ services during the reception?! Not to mention, he also played the sax throughout the reception! They were amazing. If you are looking for your wedding musician, look no further.”

Just The Melody Band

Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)

Band or Ensemble
Serves Granite Springs, NY

JUST THE MELODY BAND (JTM) is an all-star cast featuring a Grammy nominee and voices featured in tv/film and theatre. Led by singer, songwriter, and recording artist Melody Rodriguez, the band can be heard in numerous styles such as Latin Pop, Boy Bands and 90’s nostalgia, while authentically performing standards and classics with powerhouse vocals.

“When looking for a band for a multicultural wedding, we knew they had to be special. Just the Melody was the first band we reached out to and it was clear from the onset that we didn’t have to look any further because we knew they were the ones. Throughout the entire experience, Melody and Edvin were an absolute dream to work with. They were incredibly responsive and took the planning process seriously while also keeping it fun. We were able to have multiple planning meetings where they clearly listened to our vision and more specifically the energy we were hoping to bring to the entire evening. Our wedding included multiple different musical moments that Just the Melody was able to provide with aplomb. The ceremony was romantic instrumental music that transitioned to modern pop instrumentals during the first half of the cocktail hour. Then a Mariachi band took over the second half of the cocktail hour with Melody providing gorgeous vocals for a few songs before the 12-piece band took over the magic for the rest of the night. The band with Edvin as MC matched the energy of our guests the entire night in a way we never expected. After our first dance, a beautiful rendition of Luis Miguel’s”Por Debajo De La Mesa”, the band moved right into a wondrous lineup of Latin music including Cumbia, Bachata, and Salsa that got our guests up and on their feet. From that point forward the dancing was nonstop with both American and Latin music filling the air. They also helped us celebrate the joining of our Jewish and Latino cultures by playing the Hora followed by La Vibora De La Mar. Edvin and Melody worked well with our venue to time our fathers’ speeches when our guests paused for a moment to eat and they were thoughtful with the tempo of the night by pairing this with our father/bride and mother/groom dances. After dinner they brought the energy right back up and we even got to see some of Edvin’s unreal dance moves when the 90s/2000s pop music started up. We could absolutely not believe it when they allowed us to come on stage and belt out one of our favorite songs (Jimmy Eat World’s “The Middle”). It was a living dream (especially for the bride). We cannot say enough how much both of us and all of our guests absolutely adored Just the Melody. We have been told multiple times by our guests that they didn't expect to go to a concert along with our wedding and that they loved every minute of it. And we did too. The music the entire evening was exceptional and better than anything we could have come up with in our wildest dreams for the evening. Thank you Melody, Edvin and the entire Just the Melody crew - we could not have chosen better for our wedding!!”

“I can't express enough how amazing B.A.R None Production was for our wedding! From start to finish, they truly exceeded our expectations. The photographers were on point, capturing every shot we wanted and even managing to get some gorgeous, candid moments during the reception. They were so easy to work with and took direction really well. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for better memories preserved through their photos. The DJ was equally fantastic. Not only did he make sure to play every song my husband and I requested, but he also gave our guests the chance to request their favorites too! The energy was incredible, and he kept checking in with us throughout the night, making sure we were happy and that everything was going smoothly. It really added a fun vibe to the entire event! What really stood out to me was the communication. Before the wedding, we were in constant touch with Bart, who was super attentive and genuinely made us feel comfortable. He listened to our needs, and any time there were changes or additions, he was quick to respond and adapt. He kept us informed every step of the way, which made the whole process so much less stressful. We felt completely supported! If you're planning a wedding or any event, I would 100% recommend B.A.R None Production. They took so much of the pressure off us, ensuring that everything from the photos and videos to the music was handled perfectly. It was truly a stress-free experience, and we couldn’t be more grateful to them for helping make our day unforgettable!”

The first party I ever did as a DJ was a wedding. I was only 12 years old at the time and was nothing more than just a helper to someone who had the experience I was seeking. I knew nothing about mixing music, trends, or working with all different types of people. However, I was very eager to learn. I loved how it felt to make parties come alive with music and lighting. Over the years I improved, made some big equipment & office investments, linked up with the right team, and accomplished my childhood dream to make my DJ passion a full time career that now supports my wife & 2 baby girls.

Dan Ross

“Dan was absolutely amazing as the DJ for our wedding at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in 2026! He struck such a great balance between being organized, professional, and genuinely fun to work with. From the beginning, we felt confident that he understood the kind of night we wanted. Our music taste was all over the map — traditional Chinese music, ’90s emo, K-pop, country, and classic wedding dance floor staples — and Dan somehow made it all feel cohesive. He took our requests seriously, read the room beautifully, and kept the dance floor packed right up until the end of the night. He was also an excellent MC and audio professional. He helped us with some custom audio requests during the ceremony, we had no issues with mics or sound at all (I was worried) and during the reception, he kept the timeline moving, made announcements at the right moments, communicated well with our planner, and brought the perfect amount of energy without taking over the spotlight. As a stressed out, perfectionist bride, I had no worries with Dan. We could not have asked for a better DJ!”

Non-Traditional Wedding DJs

Rating: 5.0 (112 reviews)

“We got married at The Bonnie in Astoria in August and LOVED our DJ, Jen Jones. We did share a number of playlists with her and she got the vibe we were going for and picked the exact right songs each moment of the night including one of my parents' favorite slow songs which I didn't even think to mention. We also had some friends play live music for our ceremony and Jen was very helpful meeting with them beforehand and communicating directly with our venue the week before the wedding. We had some technical hurdles/transitions that Jen managed perfectly. I wanted a specific transition from a video I showed and Jen was able to transition from it very smoothly! She also was very aware of the vibe. I was so lost in the moment I lost track of time and she was very on top of making sure we got all of our scheduled plans done! We had a big range of ages at our wedding and a consistently packed, high energy dance floor thanks to Jen's work! Non-Traditional Wedding DJs was easy to communicate with and the worksheet provided helped us a lot, especially since we did not use a wedding planner. Would definitely recommend them no matter what you are going for!”

Seductionz Soundz Entertainment & Services

Rating: 5.0 (82 reviews)

“Seductionz Soundz made my dream wedding come to life in the most beautiful and unforgettable way. From the moment we connected, Tiffany was phenomenal — her organization, calm presence, and dedication made me feel cared for every step of the way. She listened to my vision, reassured me when I had concerns, and made sure every detail was handled with love and precision. My wedding was in the garden at The Grand Marquis, outdoors during the day, and I dreamed of walking on clouds for my entrance. Because of the wind, I was told it might not be possible. But Tiffany, DJ Dave, and MC Kevin made it happen for me anyway. The moment I walked in surrounded by clouds was truly magical — like something out of a dream — and it is a memory I will cherish forever. DJ Dave and MC Kevin brought amazing energy, kept the flow perfect, and made sure every moment was seamless and full of joy. Even though it was a daytime wedding, the celebration felt full of life, excitement, and emotion. They didn’t just play music — they created an atmosphere. This team didn’t only provide entertainment — they created memories, moments, and emotions that will stay with me forever. They genuinely cared, and it showed. I would recommend Seductionz Soundz, Tiffany, DJ Dave, and MC Kevin to any bride who wants a team that delivers excellence with heart.”

“The short version of this review: if you want the music at your wedding to be awesome and exactly what YOU love to hear, and without cheesey emcee vibes, hire Marcus! Marcus did such an amazing job DJing our wedding, we couldn’t be more thrilled. He is extremely thoughtful with his work. He took careful note of my husband and my musical tastes and preferences, as well as the vibe of our wedding, instead of playing a standard tired playlist. Per our request, he blended in some Latin music seamlessly. The dance floor was full and lively all night long, exactly as we had hoped for! He played songs we hadn’t requested but that we love, leaving me wondering how he could have known so well what to play. He also respected our “do not play” list, as I found out multiple guests requested songs on it and he politely declined. Marcus is very thorough and organized which made working with him so easy- he was on top of all the details, order of events/cues, even reviewed proper name pronunciation with us in advance. The event manager at our venue said she loved working with him and was very impressed. Marcus has such a kind and warm personality, and a really special talent- we feel so lucky that he was part of our big day!”

I collaborate closely with couples to create their unique musical experiences for themselves and their guests by delivering a Sophisticated Savoire-Faire of seamlessly blended hits from past decades to what's currently in vogue; citing T-40 Dance, House, IndiePop/Rock, Nu-Disko, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Disco, Latin and Reggae as some of my favorites.
