“We will prefix this review with 1) we engaged to work with Datso 5-6 months before a 50 person Fort Bragg garden wedding in April, organised 100% from Singapore and 2) our big day was a second wedding to both the Bride and the Groom, so we knew the things that mattered to us and what we wanted the planning and day to be in terms of experience. Beauty and ease were major priorities, I (the bride) wanted the day to be gorgeous, but within a specific budget, and we both did not want to stress about anything, as we were arranging things out of country and timezone. We are so lucky that we managed to find Datso (and the team she works with) for our wedding. We found her online and decided to go with her after just one call (we also spoke to a few local vendors, many of them were totally out of our price range but also many were not as generous with advice and pointers as she was in that intro call). Datso proved to be incredibly human, knowledgeable, and reassuring throughout the entire planning process, accommodating us many times over with the time difference, meetings, requests and 'ideas' that had to be conveyed just over the phone or via pictures. It was a risk for us and we didn't "know" what the day was going to turn out like but she kept us well informed during the process and was positive but reasonable in the guidance she gave us. She was respectful with our budget and never pushy. She was also informative and positive but never disingenuous, she remained incredibly human and acted with integrity from start to finish. But the proof is in the pudding, and finally the day came. I cant convey how just perfect our day turned out. She truly "got" us, the whole brief: flowers, local produce, music style (and band), the look, the feel, dinner menu and layout, the photographer style (and cost!)... she just 'got' us with all her vendor recommendations and understood that we wanted a GORGEOUS but heartfelt, warm and fun evening with close friends and family. (She also quietly did some contingency planning, like bringing extra decorations that she thought we'd need, and things like umbrellas that we didn't plan for as it rained a bit on the day.) End to end, Datso and her team delivered a thoroughly well-managed, thoughtful day that felt and looked exactly as we had hoped. It was very special, but felt intimate and personal. Gorgeous, but not frilly. It was stress free, everything was handled, the aesthetic detail were spot on and was just what we had in our heads; she managed to translate it and make it happen for us. Weddings are hard; planners are translating dreams on a very firm budget at times, and events are hard work keeping on top of all the 'things'. But we felt we did not just get good client management and organisation, we got Datso's keen ear to understand what we really wanted, a fine eye to recognise the specificity in look or feel of the things, and her deep/wide expertise and connections in knowing who exactly could do it. We are so grateful to Datso for making the wedding we had hoped for come to life. We would recommend Datso in a heartbeat.”

“Hiring Ashley at Rose Event Co as our Day of Wedding Coordinator was definitely one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. We spoke with a dozen different coordinators, and Ashley just stood out SO strongly amongst the rest. To put it as simply as possible, she saw our vision, she understood it, she stood in and shared in it with us. We initially had concerns about her being located so far away from us (we're in Oakland, CA), but she put those concerns to rest so quickly! “Kari and her entire staff were amazing!!! I want to get married again just to have Kari be part of it again. Anytime I sent a 3 am email in a stress panic, she made me feel totally normal and sane again. Our guests all raved about the bartenders she had for the wedding for us. Kari had another wedding that she was already committed to on our day but she still made a point to deliver our florals in person (she did all our flowers too - AMAZING) and stopped by before she left to say hi and give a big hug. In place of her on wedding day was an equally amazing gal Korah!! We can not say enough amazing things about Korah also. She was there for anything and everything all day on the wedding. “Tyler has a lot of experience in the wedding industry and it shows! From the beginning she made it clear what the timeline would look like for our partnership - what would be needed and when. When I became a little overwhelmed half-way through planning, Tyler was able to pick up additional scope of work which was a huge relief at the time. She also saved me a huge headache by picking up and dropping off some of my rental items since the minimum order spend for delivery was more than double my rental quote (my wedding was in a pretty remote area so most companies charged a high fee for delivery). Tyler was very thoughtful and organized about the little details I didn't think of which showcases her high degree of experience and attention to detail. She wasn't afraid to push on things on behalf of myself and my husband with our wedding venue - which I really appreciated! We had great communication throughout the wedding planning process - centralizing information in a shared Google doc. Tyler was willing to review my own personal wedding planning documents as well. She was always quick to respond to emails or texts, and also let me know in advance if she was going to be delayed in responding. On the day-of, Tyler had a great demeanor - when I saw her I could tell she was getting down to business but she made sure to keep things calm and light with me - making sure I felt comfy and relaxed on my wedding day. She kept things moving in the wedding day so we kept pace with the timeline. She made sure to account for all the logistical things like where to store decor items before and after the event. She was fantastic at corralling all the wedding vendors, collecting all the documents and information and knew when to keep me in/out of the loop at all times. “I’m not sure I can express in words how grateful I am for Cassandra, but I’ll try. We hired Cassandra to plan our July 2025 wedding at Valhalla in South Lake Tahoe. Aesthetically: I am someone who considers myself somewhat of a creative, but not incredibly organized, and certainly not a planner. For my wedding I had a vision for what some things would look like, and I wanted to design a few things myself (stationery/paper goods/signage), and I had a general aesthetic vision for the wedding but I couldn’t begin to imagine how to plan a whole event. Cassandra met me exactly where I was, rolling with my ideas and filling them out with all the rest of the details perfectly. She has beautiful taste (photos of her past weddings is what initially drew me to her) and all of her ideas were excellent; I had a lot of fun in our planning meetings where she would show me several options for various tablescape components and we could talk through them and choose together. Visually, our wedding was a dream. Organizationally: We did a “partial planning” package, which meant that I was more in charge of hiring vendors in the year leading up to the wedding, and then she took over coordination 6 weeks out. This is the time where things start to get stressful (lots of emails coming in, friends and family all have questions, etc), so it was amazing to have Cass on my team, fielding all the incoming emails and knowing the answer to every single vendor question, and jumping in to help coordinate things for our welcome party (which I had originally said I didn’t need help with). Once the big day arrived, Cassandra was AMAZING. She was so on top of everything. We had a bit of a weather scare (looked like thunderstorms might roll in in the afternoon; our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner were all planned to be outside). It seemed like I should be stressed about this, but Cassandra assured me she had a plan A, B, C, and D, and all her staff prepared to do whatever needed to be done at any moment, so I felt shockingly unworried about the whole thing. (It did rain during our first look (the hour leading up to guest arrival), and was raining when guests arrived; she had had her staff bring a bunch of stuff inside, directed the bar staff to serve welcome drinks inside, and thankfully the rain cleared out quickly and they dried off the furniture moved everything back out to the lawn got everything back on track very quickly.) A bunch of our guests had interactions with Cassandra and couldn’t wait to tell me “your planner seems so great, I really like her!” I was nervous going into wedding planning because I had had many friends have frustrating experiences with wedding planners, but my experience could not have been better. It was a true collaboration, a fun time, and we are forever grateful to Cassandra for making it happen.”
