“Our wedding at Blenheim Hill was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we went on our first venue tour to wedding weekend, the staff of Blenheim Hill was communicative, professional and organized. The roadmap they use is a great resource that helps keep you organized through the wedding planning process. We loved having a full weekend at the farm. The service, hospitality, food and drinks were amazing. We dealt with a rainy wedding day and the staff worked with us to ensure a perfect ceremony and reception. We could not have asked for more!”

“Everyone loved our wedding. We had so much fun swimming, boating & fishing in the lake on the days before the wedding. We not only rented the 3 cabins on the property, but we also put up glamping tents near the cabins. We had 32 people staying here for 3 nights and 4 days. We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding and brunch the day after the wedding under a beautiful tent alongside the lake. It was breathtaking. My family and friends can’t stop talking about how much fun our 4 days together were. The owners are in a cabin at the back of the property, so they were there for us whenever we needed them all week.”

“We could not have asked for a more beautiful, inclusive, and accessible venue! Knowing that the vast majority of our guests would have to fly in to our wedding, no matter where we had it, it was important to us that we had a venue we could book for the whole weekend. Combined with all of the amenities Wylder offers, it was a no-brainer. The wedding weekend would not have gone as smoothly as it did without the incredible staff, particularly Andrea and Faith. From the moment of our first phone call until we were leaving the farewell brunch, they took care of us every step of the way. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating, and Wylder truly felt like our home for the weekend. Highly recommend if you want a beautiful venue (with a lovely rain/cold weather location, which we ended up using), incredible food, and great service!”

“We had our wedding reception at Pine Ridge Farms and what a magical and unforgettable experience we had! You can see the Catskill Mountains from the property and the views are breathtaking. The owner, Ms. Gioja was truly wonderful and she made the planning process seamless for us. Which was so important, because it was my first time and she was patient and so very accommodating. It was apparent that she wanted the bride to be happy!!! She was an absolute blessing to us and her team as well! Being able to celebrate with our family and friends at a place that added such beauty and magic was what I wanted! I always say to Ms. Gioja that her place makes you feel at peace, being away from the business of this world and to be surrounded by sounds of nature. What a feeling?! Thank you for taking the time to read my review and if you're thinking about having your event at Pine Ridge Farms, you will not regret it!!!”

“We recently attended a wedding at L’Orangerie in Greenville, NY, and it was absolutely incredible. The entire venue felt magical from start to finish. The greenhouse was full of natural light, it created the most beautiful setting for the celebration, and the surrounding grounds were just as stunning. There are so many picturesque spots for a ceremony: near the peaceful pond, inside the greenhouse itself, or tucked among the trees. The house on-site where the wedding party got ready was gorgeous, spacious, and filled with natural light, making the whole morning feel relaxed and special. Everywhere we turned, the property offered another beautiful backdrop for photos. Since we attended in October, the fall foliage was breathtaking with vibrant oranges, reds, and golds that made the whole venue feel like something out of a storybook. L’Orangerie is truly a dream wedding venue. Every detail, from the scenery to the atmosphere, made the day unforgettable. The owners, Lucy and Felix were there too and lovely! Highly recommend!”

“My wife and I came to them on short notice and with a lot of stress due to the time/money expenses of planning the big day. Renee was unfailingly kind, endlessly patient and always upbeat. Putting it simply, the crew at Adena are wonderful people who are very good at their job. The day itself went off without a single hiccup. Every typical issue that we encountered - such as delays on our part, or things I forgot- was handled before I even fully aware of it. They did their jobs calmly and joyfully, and helped reassure my anxious wife (and my surprisingly anxious self). The location is absolutely beautiful, maintained expertly and decorated perfectly. Our reception was elegant and rustic, with clear views of the blue sky outside making a very pretty backdrop to celebration. The Wooded Cathedral was where we had our reception, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s dreamed of an outdoor wedding in the country. My wife and I are so happy that we switched venues to Adena. We’re thrilled that they’ve left us with these memories, and we are so happy to call the team at Adena friends. Thank you guys for helping us start a marriage on the highest possible note.”

Our guest still text me about all his food. Brittany was amazing. I had last minute changes out of my control and she always found the best way to make things work! Tim the Banquet manager was always around ready to make sure it all ran smoothly. Ryan the lift operations manager kept Brittany updated on the weather day of and when it didn’t look good at the bottom he drove up to make sure he truly had say no to us going to the summit (it was 30 degrees with 45 kt winds) he and his crew opened the lift for 2 hours the next day so we could still get our summit pictures and they all had smiles on their faces. “My husband Chris and I were married at M&D Farm this weekend and are now soaking up the afterglow radiating from the happiest day of our lives. To exchange our vows in the lushest, most romantic and lovingly tended gardens, surrounded by our friends and family was a dream come true. We visited M&D Farm as a newly engaged couple in June 2023 and knew it would be a perfect fit from the start. From that point, Daniel and Mario worked with us every step of the way to bring our vision to life. We appreciated their attention to detail and clear communication, but most of all, we were delighted by their passion to celebrate the unique love of every couple they work with. Two years later (down to the day), all of our hard work and collaboration with Mario and Daniel paid off. It was truly a flawless weekend, from the ceremony rehearsal to the final squeeze goodbye at the end of our wedding night. Chris and I were able to truly LIVE our day, thanks to Mario and Daniel's kind, steady presence, working expertly in the background to ensure the perfect experience for us and our people. After 12 years together, Chris and I couldn't imagine a more meaningful place to make our commitments to forever. We will cherish our wedding at M&D Farm, each day, for the rest of our days.”

“When we started planning our wedding, we knew that we wanted our guests to truly experience the simple beauty of the Hudson Valley. That is what led us to the Abeel House. Our entire day was magical. I walked down the aisle on a little pebble path, surrounded on both sides by wildflowers. Our wedding guests were seated on hay bales in the prairie, the sun on their backs and the stream behind them. After our ceremony, we celebrated in the restored barn behind the historic Dutch stone house. We split the barn into three sections — one to seat our guests for dinner, one for the dance floor, drinks, and dessert tables, and one for the local bluegrass band we hired. As evening came, we turned on the twinkle lights in the barn and danced the night away. You could see the stars through the open windows.”

The camp setting gave us the opportunity to create something far more immersive, personal, and joyful than we had imagined, and the camp / Gatheround staff and everyone involved in the planning process gave us the ability to execute on making all our dreams come true! In the months leading up to the wedding, we worked closely with Will, who was incredibly friendly, responsive, and on top of every detail. He always made time to talk through our many questions and helped accommodate some of our more unconventional requests—from having Camp Timber Lake cater our Sunday reception dinner (which we highly recommend!) to brainstorming the best locations for a nighttime game of kick the can. The camp itself is absolutely beautiful and was perfectly manicured for our arrival. There were endless activities for our guests to enjoy, and the staff placed sports equipment throughout the property so everyone could immediately jump into whatever interested them. Our guests had so much fun exploring the grounds, tossing frisbees and footballs, shooting hoops, and making the camp their own for the weekend. The staff including Reggie, Scott, Liz, Willow, Marcie, and so many others, were AMAZING. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the weekend special. Scott and Liz stayed on top of every detail, and the entire team continually went above and beyond to make our guests feel welcome and cared for. When one of our guests lost her phone in the dining hall after hours, the team turned the lights back on and helped her search for it. After she mentioned that she was having trouble turning on the heat in her cabin, they walked over to help, then returned 15 minutes later with brownies and ice cream for her and her cabin-mates as a nice surprise. Another favorite moment happened on the dance floor Saturday night. We had brought bubble guns but realized too late that they required batteries we didn’t have. We’d given up on using them, but when Willow (one of the camp staff) overheard a friend say, “I wish we had batteries for these bubble guns.” he went and tracked down batteries from TV remotes around the camp on his own accord and got the bubble guns working. They ended up being a huge hit! Moments like these, and so many others, made us feel completely at home and made our guests feel incredibly well cared for. The food was also outstanding. We received rave reviews about every meal. The team went out of its way to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions, providing hearty vegan and vegetarian options at every meal. They even prepared a special plate every meal for my mom, who has an autoimmune disorder that prevents her from eating most spices. The team also decorated dishes with edible flowers and made everything look beautiful. For our reception dinner on the final night, they even came up with the idea of displaying leftover Boy Scout patches from one of our weekend activities along the buffet counter. It was the perfect thoughtful touch. We had multiple guests tell us that this was their favorite wedding they had ever attended, and Camp Timber Lake (and the wonderful people who run it) were a huge reason why. Thank you for giving us and our guests such a magical, joyful, and unforgettable weekend. It truly was the best weekend of our lives! Can’t recommend this wedding venue enough!”

The Caboose
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
Hudson, NY
  • Up to 184 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $45,000

Welcome to The Caboose, a stunning 3,500-square-foot space steeped in Hudson Valley history, reimagined for an open, modern feel that’s both communal and cosmopolitan. With its soaring beamed ceilings and expansive cathedral windows, The Caboose is truly the best wedding venue in Hudson, NY and the perfect spot to host your next seated event, where guests can enjoy a seasonal farm-to-table menu curated by Executive Chef Nicole LoBue. After dinner, continue the fun with dancing and drinking, or simply step outside to watch the sun set on our lush private garden filled with over 14,000 perennials. Whatever you decide, The Caboose is the space to enjoy all the modern amenities you’ve come to expect from a venue like ours — including killer sound and PA systems and aesthetic finishes like warm woods, cool marbles and stone, and hand-finished metals, all accomplished without sacrificing our commitment to being 100% carbon-neutral — because we love our planet as much as we do our guests.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Picturesque garden backdrop
  • Has a fun and festive vibe

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • No on-site guest accommodations
“We had a roundabout journey to The Caboose, but I couldn't be happier that it's where we landed for our wedding in September '25. From the jump, we appreciated the gorgeous space, their commitment to doing right by the planet, and the affiliation with Kitty's—some of our favorite food in Hudson. The combination of a beautiful garden and stunning indoor space made us feel like we were safe no matter the weather. Every time we visited, the garden got better. We loved how lush and colorful it was for our day. We enjoyed working with Caitlin, the venue manager. She was creative and flexible and willing to work with us to do a few things a little differently (like have the ceremony in a different spot in the garden). The food was truly incredible—we still have people raving about it! We appreciated that because we were right on the edge seasonally, we were able to choose the summer menu instead of the one for fall, which felt just right for the day's weather and feeling. Because we had our tasting in February, we weren't able to try most of the items we had, but we trusted we were in good hands—and we definitely were. The kitchen team was also incredibly accommodating with our guest's dietary restrictions—everyone felt very cared for, which is what we hoped for the most! We had live music as well as a DJ and everything sounded truly great in the space. The staff working on our day was SO kind and helpful—people made mention of how warm everyone was, too. I saw many a chitchat at the bar, just because they were so lovely! Just a note, too, that while The Caboose was pricey, we were totally amazed by the value and all that they take care of. We looked at dozens of venues—from full-service spots to DIY operations—and kept coming back to the mix of creativity, value, and quality that The Caboose offered. The fact that they take care of the food, drinks, furniture rentals, lighting, sound system, and staff—and all at such a high caliber—unheard of! We truly couldn't have done it without them. “We recently had our wedding at Vanderbilt Lakeside. Henrietta was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. She was always so responsive and helpful. She was so organized and answered any question we had. The weekend itself was truly a dream wedding for us. The space was amazing to host all of our close friends for the weekend. The space is so detailed orientated and beautiful with so much thought put into it. The chef, Matt, is amazing and we got so many compliments on the food. Specially the steak- which was cooked perfectly. The drinks were delicious and easy to get for guests. Henrietta made sure my parents had food as well and went out of her way to make sure our families were taken care of. I truly can’t recommend Vanderbilt enough. We had a larger guest count for the space at 128 guests and did a cocktail style wedding. There was plenty of food and they nailed the set up of it. It was such a unique and fun experience!”

“Our experience working with Belleayre Lodge couldn’t have been better. Gigi, Angel, Brian, and Matt, worked together with us so seamlessly to make our wedding weekend absolutely perfect. We rented the property Friday through Sunday and hosted just around 60 guest. The guest who didn’t fit in the cabins, (and also didn’t want the late night shenanigans) stayed at the hotels literally right across the street. Our guest arrived Friday night and we hosted a rehearsal dinner with a food truck and cash bar (run by the lodge). Saturday was our wedding day. We got married at the local ski mountain (Belleayre Mountain) and returned to Belleayre Lodge for our cocktail hour and reception. The food was absolutely amazing during both cocktail hour and our dinner. We had a beer and wine bar, with local drinks, as well as homemade ice tea and lemonade. We had a cake from a local bakery and ice cream bar from a local creamery for dessert. Sunday morning we hosted a farewell breakfast. The coffee and food, again were phenomenal. The decor and little touches made everything perfect. There was so much thought put into ever part of our wedding and their passion showed in their work. I am so glad we took the chance on this new location. It truly was the best day!”

“We were so lucky to celebrate our wedding at A Private Estate, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. When we were searching for a venue, we visited A Private Estate in the depth of winter during a snowstorm, but even then, we immediately knew it was the perfect place for us. Ripley, the owner, was friendly and direct, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making sure people had an amazing experience. The property was beautifully maintained, and the convenience of having the Carriage House accommodation along with the barn for the reception made it a much better value than most other venues we considered. We chose to have our ceremony outside, overlooking the Hudson River, which created a breathtaking and peaceful setting for our vows. The manor house made for a stunning backdrop for our family photos, adding a touch of elegance to the day. We held our reception in the barn, which we highly recommend to other couples. The rustic charm of the space, combined with the elegance of the estate, created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our mid-August wedding was made even more memorable by the beauty and ambiance of the setting. The property manager, Jack, went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Not only did he assist us with practical matters, like putting up blinds in the Carriage House to help our family members' kids sleep, but he also saved the day when a special bottle of wine we had intended to keep was accidentally thrown out by the caterers. Jack took it upon himself to dig it up and return it to us—an act of kindness we won’t forget. We are incredibly grateful for the hospitality and attention to detail from both Jack and Ripley. If you're looking for a venue that combines beauty with exceptional service, we wholeheartedly recommend A Private Estate.”
