“My daughter recently got married in Newport, Rhode Island, on September 14th, 2024. She choose to have her reception in a tent on the lawn of the Eisenhower House. The venue was stunning and the woman at EH recommended Clockwork as we were looking for a local band with horns to play at the reception. We were not able to hear them in person, but all the video's posted online more than helped our decision making process and we quickly booked the band 20 months in advance, It was our second decision in the wedding process after the venue -with many, many more to come, but without a doubt - IT WAS THE BEST DECISION!!!! Booking was easy - we sent a check to reserve the date. the catalog of music they are capable of playing is extensive. But we had a tremendous comfort level with Clockwork New England as the contract states YOU GET THE EXACT MUSICIANS you see on all the website videos. There are no switches, or long lists of band members they slot in on any given day. Everyone we saw and loved are the people that showed up for our event. From start to finish - the band rocked the night away - the dance floor was never empty. They sang the bride and grooms song 'You are the Best Thing" and it was spectacular. And every song after that just got us up off our feet. The horns added so much - we keep hearing from friends asking us who they were, because they LOVED the music. The interactions with the crowd also made the night so memorable - and some of the best videos of the night. The band worked well together - and we just cannot say enough about how much they added to the party. Patrick joined a zoom call we had w our planner a week or so earlier than the event - and went over every detail - completely putting our minds at ease. 5 stars are NOT ENOUGH!! “Victor and his team were amazing! His team made it so easy to get songs sorted and added to the portal. Victor helped make my first dance mix for my dad and I to do a choreographed number. The photo booth was amazing- from the speed, props, photo strip layouts, all of it was perfect. We even had people make video messages through the photobooth and that was icing on the cake. Victor got the party started and took all of our requests into account to make our event exactly how we wanted. Any feedback we had, he was on it and made the changes needed. “Chime entertainment is an all around amazing vendor for DJ/MCEE, Photo booth, and videography services. Our day was amazing thanks to them! The Photo Booth added such a fun touch to the evening and was definitely a huge hit with all the funny props! It also left us with a full digital album of all of our guests having the time of their lives and was immediately available for us to look at (which came in handy while we waited for our wedding photos to come back). Everyone wont stop talking about how fun/perfect our wedding was and these guys were definitely the reason. Adam D, our main contact, was always quick to respond and always available when it came to answering our questions. Our DJ, George, was incredible, not only keeping the energy high all night but also stepping in to help coordinate the evening. He read the room perfectly, checked in with us throughout, and adapted seamlessly to any changes. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and MC. Our videographer, Leeland, went above and beyond to capture our day beautifully. He brought such fun energy while also knowing when to step back and let private moments unfold naturally. “Summit Events was the perfect choice for our wedding entertainment! Having a fun dance floor and awesome music has been something that I have dreamed about forever. I was nervous to find the right fit and was so relieved to have found Summit Events. From the beginning, we ended up working with the DJ who would perform the night of. Chris Funkhouser (who seriously brought the funk!) was amazing to work with! During our consultations he was able to answer all our questions and concerns. He was able to put his swing on things from his experience to help provide the right vibes we were looking for. We pretty much already knew all the songs that we wanted to play so the program they used was perfect! It was detailed in the timing of the night, how long or short to play songs and any other special requests we wanted to have. On the night of the wedding, Chris was a blast -energetic, observant, and focused on keeping the dance floor alive all night long. He even joined us out there, helping to keep the party going strong! He was able to use his best judgement in placing some of the lighting and monogram details we chose which turned out great! “The Hook Club made our wedding dreams come true. My husband is Dominican and I am from New England, and therefore we were looking for a bilingual band that could play a very wide range of music - from American wedding classics, to Pop, to Reggaeton, to Merengue, to Bachata — and a group that could MC the evening in Spanish and English, and bring the energy to keep the party going. We went with Hook Club’s 7 piece DJ Band, and they were above and beyond fantastic. They curated a setlist that somehow, despite the wide range of music, flowed together and was cohesive. I can’t express enough how talented they are vocally, instrumentally, professionally, and as performers. The dance floor was absolutely lit; even my brother who was on crutches and had a torn labrum couldn’t stay away. It makes me tear up thinking about how much energy, positivity, and happiness they brought to our night — they will always have a special place in our hearts. They are also true professionals - the planning process was easy, they were prompt in all communication, and on the day of they handled venue-related hiccups with grace. They were the first vendor to arrive to ensure a thorough set up, and the last to leave. They are truly such a special, one of a kind group, and I cannot recommend them enough. Of all the many decisions we made in planning our wedding, choosing THC was by far the best decision of them all. Although our wedding was back in August; our friends and family are still talking about The Hook Club, exlusively referring to them as “ the best wedding band they have ever heard before”. We had a fairly diverse crowd in terms of age, background, taste in music and their ability to please that wide range of people is a testament to their talent. THANK YOU TO THE HOOK CLUB !!!”

“We worked with Kevin Maldonado for our 11.17 ceremony and reception at the Granite Rose in Hampstead NH. Main Event was the recommended DJ service from our venue, and the matching process to put us with the rigth DJ was so easy. Once we met with Kevin, we had high hopes for our big day, and I am not exaggerating when I say that Kevin blew our hopes out of the water. Kevin helped with audio for our ceremony, before doing music and speeches at our cocktail hour and reception. We requested a high energy dancefloor, with classics from all decades to get everyone on their feet, and wanted to have an insane dance party with our friends and family. He killed it. The energy on the dancefloor was impeccable, and Kevin delivered our vision PERFECTLY. He was so professional, but fun, and everything went very smoothly, no hiccups, no complaints.
