EXPERIENCE - We interviewed a few photography companies to compare prices, offerings, and aesthetic appeal; we ultimately decided on OW because they offered the best rates for videography and photography packages. From the beginning, the customer experience was favorable with multiple opportunities for touchpoints and planning. Their pricing is transparent and straight-forward; the add-ons will be tempting, and it will cost you. However, we appreciated that our interactions with the office staff weren't sales driven; they shared the options for add-ons without it being pushy. All communication and planning details are handled through a personalized portal and its the easiest way to ask questions and relay changes to the photography team. If you are someone that is not particularly organized, you'll love this feature and the imbedded questionnaires. They'll serve as a guide to crafting the look, identifying highlights to be captured, and a space for notes to the team working with you on the day of. During the wedding day, everything went smoothly and everyone was professional and personable. Their presence didn't feel intrusive and they expertly worked around our timeline to maximize efficiency. RESULTS - Our gallery was a fantastic mix of curated moments and candid memories. Each cluster of photos creates a timestamp throughout the day and it was a welcome reminder of all the small details of the wedding that can be easily missed among the shuffle of it all. In our package we stuck with 8 hours of photography and videography; electing afterwards to request the raw footage for an additional charge. I believe the quality of the photos and videos is phenomenal for the price - something similar may be double the price, especially if you're looking for more aesthetic/Instagramish vibe - we went traditional and it exceeded our expectations. SHOUTOUTS - I have to give special kudos to the team that worked directly with us. For planning and logistics, Sarah and Gabriella were attentive and quick to respond to questions. Sarah was very sweet and made our wedding feel like a priority and not just one of many they're juggling. I appreciate her collaboration on capturing the specifics to ensure even the smallest details were relayed to the team; and the results speak for themselves. The true heroes of the day were Pricilla, Sanaa, and Collin; they were the team tasked with documenting the magic of the day in a fashion that captured our essence as a couple. They quickly became a highlight of the experience - we hit it off immediately and their energy was uplifting and reassuring. We are eternally grateful for their patience with our families and the lighthearted approach they took to dealing with grumpier relatives. Overall, it was a beautiful day, and we are overjoyed to have been paired with this team because they did a phenomenal job.”

“We absolutely loved our experience with Flo as our photographer and hiring her was the best decision that we made about our wedding day. We interviewed a few photographers but had an instant connection with Flo who seemed so enthusiastic and genuinely excited for our love story and wedding. She had such positive energy and we knew we wanted that kind of energy surrounding us on our wedding day. She was also willing to customize a package for us to work with our budget and our needs for the wedding day which was so reassuring - and she is worth every penny of what she charges. We had an awesome engagement session with her before the big day, and even when I broke a nail on the way there, she was so great at keeping me from stressing out. We were able to relax and laugh a lot and be ourselves on camera, and the photos were stunning. We also appreciated how Flo kept in touch with us on Instagram leading up to the wedding and afterwards - it must be so much work to keep up with all of her clients but it really felt so nice that she was following us on our wedding journey. She was so supportive, liking our stories and posts and letting us know she was consistently invested in our story. When the wedding day came it was like we were meeting up with an old friend even though we'd only met in person once for the engagement session. Flo also worked with us to figure out the "wedding timeline" that every vendor seemed to want even though we were a little clueless about it to start. She came up with a plan for the most efficient use of our time to make the day go the smoothest and it really worked out perfectly. She kept us on schedule and used the questionnaire we had filled out to make sure she got all of the shots we requested. All of our wedding party and family told us how great she was and how much they liked working with her. She and her second photographer and assistant were ON IT and captured so many moments throughout the day, they didn't miss a thing! We were able to put complete trust in her and just enjoy the wedding. As for the photos themselves, her style is so beautiful and striking and exactly what we were looking for - we love how saturated her colors are and it worked perfectly for our jewel tone fall wedding. She has a passion for sunset lighting as well and the pictures from our engagement and wedding day at sunset came out so beautifully. For both engagement and our wedding, we had a bunch of sneak peek photos within a day or two which was great to tide us over while we waited for the final products. Communication and payment and the photo gallery platform were all super straightforward. We cannot recommend Flo enough for the genuinely positive energy she will bring to your planning process and wedding day and for the gorgeous photos she will capture on your special day.”

“After viewing other local photographer's work, I just didn't like any of the photos. They were too dark and posed/not natural. As soon as I saw Miranda's work, it clicked. I loved the bright, dreamy, whimsical, storybook vibes her shots give. The more I looked over her past work, the more I fell in love with her craft. Meeting Miranda via Zoom was such a delight. She is seriously an amazing person—kind, funny, bubbly, and light-hearted. I explained that we were having a smallish wedding and were willing to forgo some shots if we could keep to a certain budget. Wow, she was willing to work with me and my husband! Other photographers in the tri-state area were at least 5-10k over. As the wedding day drew nearer, Miranda kept us updated with a list of hyperlinks and ideas for different shots. She helped us organize a timeline that made everything flow seamlessly. Despite her laid-back and easy-breezy nature, she is actually SUPER organized, and how there were directions or video tutorials linked to everything displays her thoughtfulness and professional manner. The teacher in me was geeking out and loving this! Miranda also took the time to get to know and understand our family dynamics and VIP wedding shot wishlists. This care and conversation made the wedding day shots run so much more smoothly. Several of my bridesmaids pointed out that their wedding photographers did not do this and it was much more chaotic on their wedding days! What was SO special about Miranda is working with her! She was amazing with all the little kiddos in our bridal party and my dog. She really is a natural with people and has an eye for candid shots that make me tear up when going back to look at them. Then, when it came to our couple shots, I was blown away. My husband and I are not young/20-something newlyweds, but the photos Miranda took made me look and feel like a princess. We both feel awkward taking photos, but my goodness, Miranda gives posing direction that feels natural and effortless, executing the most charming and romantic shots that made us look like a million bucks. Her editing style is true-to-color, capturing the real beauty and emotion of our day without over-processing. Her gifts for organization, creative talent for getting those special shots, natural and easy way of clicking with people, and those gorgeous storybook photos make her a photographer I will recommend over and over again. “This review is a mix of both happy and a little disheartened. Our Photographer had such an amazing personality. He kept us on our toes. He kept us laughing, leading up to the big moment however, looking back on photos that were being taken in the bridal suite I feel like there’s a lot of mess in the background of them which I don’t blame the Photographer at all that is our fault and those photos did come out beautiful. Our reception photos came out beautiful, but what leaves us this heart in a little bit is our bridal party photos and alter photos. We were hoping to have close pictures of the altar and we didn’t. They’re just kind of dark looking. Which again I understand lighting in a venue I was just hoping for more of an edit, but the biggest one are the Bridal party photos. A lot of our girls look white washed, as if there was little no editing done to it. There was trash or mess in the background that as a photographer I would hope it would’ve been picked up on so we could’ve moved stuff out of the way. I received one photo back with our entire bridal party, which I was excited for to find out half of their faces are blurry and some people were cut out so I can’t share that photo. The rest of the pictures have shadows in them exit signs that could’ve been cropped out not centered properly. I know the day is a lot because there’s things I forgot for example, we never got a full family photo. My husband doesn’t have any with his siblings and parents same with me and my siblings and parents and with our siblings and parents altogether with us on both sides, which should’ve been something I thought of myself, but I know it was talked about prior. I loved our reception photos. I do wish there was a little more of our parents and us but the reception photos came out beautiful and amazing. I’m just a little disheartened with the private bridal party photos. However it’s an easy fix because my maid of honor is a Photographer and my bridal party is gonna. Dress back up and do their hair and make up the way it was that day and we’re gonna redo our photos. Overall though David was amazing to work with the communication was perfect. The payment plan was amazing. I remember one time having to pay him a little late and there was no issue at all. He actually gave me extra time and told me to wait until after the holidays. And I will forever be appreciative for that I would still hire David for other events. Attached are photos we did like and some that we didn’t - the one with our bridal party missing included”
