“I could not have asked for a better photographer in any respect. Maya is extremely communicative, warm, welcoming, and excellent at what they do. I was incredibly nervous selecting a photographer because I had no idea what I was doing. During my first meeting with Maya, they put me completely at ease and walked me through the process, their photography philosophy, figured out what my spouse and I would/wouldn’t like in our photos, and even helped us get a sense of how our day’s timeline would go. Maya and their partner the day-of were an absolute blast to have at the event. Even the usual stiff family formal photos felt fun and organic with their guidance, and they were always up for impromptu shots and suggestions. They make sure that their work is organic, dynamic, and really captures the essence of the couple’s relationship. I asked them to use my Polaroid alongside their professional gear and they were really enthusiastic about the prospect, so now I have a set of excellent Polaroids in addition to their amazing high definition work.
