I started off in birth photography and maternity shoots. I got asked to be a backup photographer for 2 weddings and fell so far in love with wedding and engagement photography, I had to add packages. I had so much fun and ended up making some great friendships doing so.

I believe my skills I developed for birth photography (i.e., quick shooting, angles, and calm presence) has been essential to my success as a wedding photographer. I have an eye for the quick and captivating moments while allowing them to be authentic and candid.

    Chaya did our family photos. As you can imagine, it was chaos. We had 10 people in our home who came to meet our newborn. We wanted this special moment captured as this was the first grand baby. I remember sweating and running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, but the whole time, Chaya remained so calm and concise. She kept saying "don't worry about the pictures or what people are doing, that's my job." She took that added pressure right off of my shoulders.

    Chaya came as a backup to my wedding after my photographer had an emergency of her own. She walking with pure confidence and a smile that lit up the room. She fit in so well and knew how to handle the crowd. She worked well with the kids, made sure to get plenty of photos, and even caught some I didn't know she did. It was a great surprise to see when opening the album. She was so calm the whole time, even in the chaos.
