“When we started working with Grace, we didn’t realize how much she would impact our lives for the better. First, we started working with her as our officiant, then, as our pre-marital counselor. Meeting with Grace for counseling was one of the best decisions we made for our relationship. My then fiancé and I made a commitment to learn communication tools to support our marriage going forward. Grace was absolutely amazing as a facilitator and guide. She artfully helped us navigate complex topics that came up during the wedding planning process. We learned invaluable strategies to help us communicate, especially when it’s hard (isn’t that what marriage is?). Most of all, she was invested our relationship’s success, and rooted for us every step of the way! As our officiant, Grace helped us create a ceremony flow that all our guests described as “so us.” Our friends and family praised the intentionality and personalization throughout the ceremony, using words like “mindful,” “powerful,” and “different” from any other wedding they’d been to. Grace was very specific about how the ceremony was put together, and made sure everything she wove together for us was exactly what we wanted. Grace even took the time to meet with and guide us in a meditation prior to the ceremony starting, to help us calm our nerves and settle into the moment. Grace even ended up in a lot of our wedding photos as a joyful, smiling presence in the background! This is really indicative of who she is. She is so caring, intuitive, and a huge presence of love! I can’t imagine our wedding day running so smoothly without Grace’s support. We plan to continue working with Grace in the nascent stage of our marriage to keep practicing all the wonderful tools we’ve learned. Thank you Grace, for all your love and all you do!”

“We hired Krista and the team at Kita events to manage our wedding day with the Gold Key package - it was worth every penny! Krista was an absolute pleasure to work with. She’s knowledgeable, organized, and helpful. You can tell she’s seasoned, and it put me at ease. We had a couple situations that needed creative problem solving and she just took care of it, made the calls, and found a solution. She was available and responsive, her proactive communication was so appreciated. The lead-up planning was top-notch. Then her rehearsal and day-of management were even more fantastic. Krista has a warm, calm, and positive energy - exactly what a bride needs on her big weekend. She led the rehearsal so eloquently - our wedding party (who have been in many weddings) was super impressed. On the wedding day she was behind the scenes making everything flow, coordinating with all of the vendors - I didn’t have to lift a finger. The run-of-show was seamless, she was in lock-step with our venue manager, photographer, DJ, and various musicians. And to close, after a long day (we had a New Year’s Eve wedding so it went late!), she and her team broke down and aggregated our rentals, and packed up our personal decor (there was a lot). I cannot recommend Kita Events more, we had a wonderful experience.”

Their warmth, friendliness, and clear love for their venue made booking an easy decision. What really attracted us was the venue’s secluded, natural atmosphere—peaceful and serene, yet still easy to find via GPS. Plus, the convenience of hosting all our events and guests in one location made our day so much smoother. They even went above and beyond, fulling all of our special requests. Our planner complimented that Twist was easy to work with, and loads of our guest's shared how much they loved the food.
