Like most children in the late 90's and early 00's, I grew up with a camera in my hand. I went through polaroids, video cameras, disposable cameras, waterproof cameras, and film cameras; all the cameras! I was so fascinated by photography and the ability to preserve moments. I'm an ENFP, 7w6, and extroverted-introvert who is not only thrilled but humbled to be a witness and historian to the significant moments in your life we are able to share together!

As soon as you meet with Lindsey you know that she’s a real professional! She’s creative and so easy to work with! I highly recommend!!

DJ Billy from Limitless Event DJs wasn't just the soundtrack to our wedding night, he was the maestro who conducted the symphony of joy that unfolded! His attentiveness to our musical preferences and vision for the evening was unmatched. Then came the big day, and boy, did he deliver! Billy flawlessly navigated our eclectic playlist, effortlessly blending genres and weaving in crowd-pleasers that kept the dance floor pulsating all night. He even seamlessly responded to the occasional spontaneous singalongs and impromptu dance circles. Cathedral

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Venue
  • Up to 80 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor
  • Starts at $2,200

We believe that people see the problems our world faces and have the desire to help, but often don’t know where to start. So we started Cathedral with one goal in mind — to build something that’s the sole purpose of existing was to make this world of ours a more just and beautiful place. Building things that matter takes time. Cathedrals took generations to build — those who began the work didn’t see its completion. The architect who drew up the plans would never see their spires rise. The mason laying the bricks would never stand under their cover.

Awarded Best of Zola
We are delighted to partner with The Cathedral, one of our preferred venues for hosting exceptional events. Its versatile layout and state-of-the-art equipment make it an ideal setting for a diverse range of occasions, each tailored to reflect the unique style and personality of our clients. The venue features elegant wooden tables that require no linens, enhancing the natural beauty of the space. Additionally, the fully equipped bar, complete with taps and glassware, is ready to accommodate any event's beverage needs. Cathedral is not only a visually stunning venue but also a place with a heart, dedicated to a meaningful cause. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and creating memorable experiences together.

Lionlady Photography is a team of wedding photographers & videographers based in Seattle, Sun Valley, Boise, and destination. Led by Lynnsey Phillips, we specialize in photojournalistic and emotional imagery excelling in predicting moments and connecting on a deeper level with our clients.

Awarded Best of Zola
Lynnsey was a delight to work with and we treasure our photos! Because of the pandemic, she actually shot two weddings for us with different locations and styles. She captured both beautifully. Seeing her work over two events gave us a real sense of her as an artist and her ability to convey the distinct feeling of each place and day. Candid, authentic shots were our top priority when choosing a photographer and in this regard Lynnsey truly can't be beat. I think this is a really important question to consider as a couple and to review sample portfolios with this in mind. Sure we love the shots where we feel fancy and beautiful, but the ones that capture my mom's funky laugh or a meaningful, messy embrace we return to most. Can't thank Lynnsey enough for helping us hold onto those moments!

We were so lucky to find Rian and book him for our wedding. From start to finish he was kind, helpful, communicative, and professional. We had created a Spotify mix for playing during dinner and cocktail hour which he used and added to based on our conversations, and we gave him full rein outside of that because we didn't know how many people would want to dance and felt sure that he would be able to read the mood of the room/crowd. I could not believe how fun the dancing part of the evening was. It completely surpassed our expectations. Everyone had the best time and all my favorite photos are from the dance floor- it was a dream. He also helped us shorten our first dance song and perfectly orchestrated the entire event. They were able to set up speakers for both sides of the venue, provided mics and helped make the ceremony seamless, the transitions and the toasts a breeze for everyone involved. I really can't sing his praises enough. Plus he just has great taste in music, is a genuinely nice person, and someone I would definitely hire again. For a wedding our size (60 guests) he brought a colleague named Sam and together they helped create the perfect environment for memories we will cherish for a lifetime. We have received so many compliments on the music and vibe.

Hey I'm Chelsea! I'm a wedding photographer based out of Seattle, Washington. I'm a super happy 32-year old who is head over heels in love with her job. Photography lets me combine all of my INFJ superpowers into one package, & it fills me with so much joy to share that with my clients. Beyond photography, I'm a total hippy at heart; I love all things nature, the moon, traveling, wildflowers, old creaky houses, thrift shopping, plants, hiking & horror movies.

Chelsea photographed my elopement and was incredible throughout the whole process! Our original wedding idea was derailed by COVID so she helped us make an elopement plan, looked into locations for us, helped come up with a time table, and basically just made everything extremely easy. On the day of, she fit in so well with our tiny group and made everyone feel completely at ease (which is saying a lot for me, because I'm used to being a photographer as well and am extremely awkward in front of a camera). The images she produced are absolutely beautiful & captured the day, location, and feeling better than I could've possibly imagined. We are thrilled with our choice to have Chelsea document such an important day.

We had the honor of working with Chelsea for our elopement at Artists Point near Mt Baker in WA. She hiked to our vow location with us and then to our ceremony spot at Picture Lake. We are from Ohio, so flying out to Washington was a little scary for both of us but she made the entire process from planning stages to wedding day completely stress free and made us feel comfortable and confident. She got us the completed video in time for our reception with friends and family a few months later, and we played it for everyone then - multiple people were actually sobbing, and everyone was laughing at the video Chelsea made, it perfectly captured us as a couple and our day. To see the little moments between us that she picked up on was really a special touch. I would highly recommend Chelsea to anyone thinking about videography that’s both personal and beautiful on their wedding day!

Hall at Fauntleroy

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Venue
  • Up to 250 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor

This elegant event space is housed in the picturesque 1900s-era former Fauntleroy Schoolhouse. Nestled a world away in a quiet tree-lined neighborhood, yet close to downtown Seattle, the Hall at Fauntleroy offers multiple unique indoor and outdoor spaces.

From the first time I reached out to T&T catering to the amazing salmon dinner, the T&T team was absolutely amazing. My first interactions were with Kimball and Sara, whom I hold dearly in my heart. They graciously walked my now husband and I through the planning process of having our special day at the Hall at Fauntleroy. On the big day, the T&T team stepped up even more than I could ever expect. 1) Rain was in the forecast and we planned to have our ceremony in the garden. The T&T team set up the upstairs room for our ceremony in case we changed our minds last minute, which we eventually did. That was such an amazing surprise! 2) A crow flew into our reception room before the ceremony (I had no idea - great job T&T my wedding party!). Due to the food safety hazard, the T&T team once again went above and beyond and moved our entire reception set up (tables, chairs, decor, cakes, etc.) to the upstairs room. It was mesmerizing to watch while we finished our family photos inside. Lastly, but certainly not least, the team lead an incredible dinner service (family style). They made sure that all special meals when to the correct guests, wine glasses were always full, and even cracked some jokes with our friends at the “Jesse table”. I HIGHLY recommend working with the T&T team for your wedding or any event. I cannot wait to work with them again one day in the future. Thank you for everything!

Hi, I’m Marla, and I’ve had a camera in my hands since I could hold one. Travel is what first sparked my love of photography– I felt the need to document every gorgeous landscape in my sights across Europe, Asia, the South Pacific, and here in the States. Once I started taking portraits, though, everything shifted, and I became obsessed with documenting love. I value photos as memories, and they’re extremely precious to me. To me, the ability to freeze a moment in time so you’ll always be able to return to that beauty and joy is nothing short of magic.

Choosing Marla as my wedding photographer was the best decision. She is amazing at what she does, responded to us quickly and provided the most amazing pictures I will cherish forever. She helped us have a smooth wedding day and made sure we both felt our best on our special day.

Boards by Erica

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Caterer
  • Starts at $360

I've been a fine dining chef for 20+ years and I was a first runner-up on Food Network's Chopped. I started Boards by Erica to create unforgettable memories on your special day with our exquisite catering service. Indulge in a handpicked selection of artisanal cheeses, premium cured meats, and gourmet accompaniments expertly arranged to enhance the ambiance of your celebration.

I've worked with Erica on numerous catering events over the years, she's always been a delight to work with and I was SO excited when she announced that she was going to open her own board business because charcuterie boards are my favorite - and often something I ordered from the restaurants she previously cheffed at. As of my writing this review, she has done a beautiful grazing table for a wedding I planned, and has dropped off a couple of charcuterie / crudité platters for bridal and bridal party "getting ready" suites. I look forward to working with her many, many more times as her presentation is impeccable, she knows the right combos of cheese / meats / nuts / jams / crunchies / whatevers to put together, and she's just a really cool lady/chef.

Awarded Best of Zola
We held our wedding at WithinSodo in September 2020. Prior to the pandemic, we had toured the place and fell in love. It was a perfect mix of industrial and romance, and I loved how we could choose what rooms we wanted to rent. The price was also excellent especially compared to other seattle venues. When the pandemic hit, Kate was so accommodating and kept up to date w the state’s guidelines. She worked with us to figure out a plan that we’d be happy with. We ended up just having a small ceremony and received a partial refund back. Even though the ceremony was only a couple hours long, it was perfect. We are so excited to come back and hold a reception once things are safe. Contract was clear, the billing system was great, and Kate was awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone!

We're a dynamic team of two who are passionate about capturing every magical moment of your special day. From the first glance to the final kiss, we're dedicated to immortalizing the joy, love, and laughter that fills the air on your wedding day. With a keen eye for detail and a knack for storytelling, we strive to create timeless images and films that you'll cherish for a lifetime. But it's not just about the shots we take- it's about the connections we make. We believe that the best memories are made when you're having fun, and that's why we're committed to capturing those moments that will last a lifetime!

Booking New Era Photography was the easiest and best decision my husband and I made for our elopement. Elsie is ("is" -present tense, because she still is even after providing outstanding service) extremely easy to reach and talk to. She had asked us to create a pinterest board when we booked her and months later, on our elopement day, she is diligently referencing the board and ensuring we get the shots we wanted. To be honest, the adrenaline of the big day (and lack of a full meal) had my mind up in the clouds, so looking back I am SO grateful Elsie was on it. Additionally, she is just the kindest person ever! She made us feel so comfortable and confident in our "poses". She also got sneak peaks over to us even earlier than she had quoted; and there wasn't one I didn't like. Look no further - New Era Photography is what you need!

What I love most about DJing and MCing weddings, though, is the opportunity to create a unique and unforgettable experience for each couple. Your wedding day should reflect your personalities, your love story, and your vision for the future. I am honored to be a part of making that vision a reality.

Awarded Best of Zola
I had the pleasure of having DJ iSizzle as my wedding DJ and I cannot express enough how amazing he was! From start to finish, he was incredibly easy to work with and made the entire process stress-free. Firstly, he took the time to get to know my partner and me, our music taste, and the vibe we wanted to create at our wedding. He listened attentively to our requests and made sure to incorporate them into his setlist. Not only did he play all of our favorite songs, but he also added his own creative touch to the mix, which kept the party going all night long. On the day of the wedding, DJ iSizzle arrived early to set up and ensure everything was in place. He worked seamlessly with our event coordinator and other vendors, which made everything run smoothly. One thing that stood out to us was how he was able to read the crowd and adjust the music accordingly. He played a variety of genres and kept everyone on the dance floor, from the youngest guests to the oldest. Overall, I would highly recommend DJ iSizzle to anyone looking for a wedding DJ. He is incredibly easy to work with, professional, and knows how to keep the party going. If you want to have a stress-free and unforgettable wedding reception, then DJ iSizzle is the way to go! Five stars all around!

My heart beats for photographing a story worth telling, and finding the funny, quirky, moving little moments throughout that narrative. I always have a smile on my face and love, absolutely love to make people laugh. I can recite funny quotes and sing to you the cheesiest of songs. As cheesy as it may sound, I want to be your friend. I want to laugh throughout the whole day with you, making every moment so memorable and being right by your side to capture it. I want to keep in touch with you after, to see where life takes you!

Andrea was really wonderful to work with. We met her through a friend of ours that had their photos done and had really wonderful things to say about her. She did our engagement photos and wedding. We were both really nervous about getting in front of the camera, but Andrea had us laughing the whole time and we even brought our dogs with us. We couldn't be happier with all the photos we got back, she truly captured every moment and her view on everything was really beautiful. I would highly recommend working with Andrea.

Wow!! I can not sing enough praises about Jackie. We had the privilege of working with Jackie for our wedding and from the very beginning she was incredibly professional, personable, and we truly felt that she wanted to understand & capture our wedding as we had envisioned it. Her photographs online stood out to me from the beginning, but after meeting her - that sealed the deal for us. Although we had quite a few change of plans throughout 2020, Jackie was so encouraging, understanding, and worked with us as we rolled with the punches together. On our wedding day, Jackie was so on top of everything and made sure we had scheduled all the time we would need to capture those special moments with each other and with our families & friends. She is SO positive and makes you feel comfortable as yourself despite being behind a camera lens. Jackie quickly got us our photographs back and wow!! they totally exceeded all my expectations. She captured our day so above and beyond what we had hoped. I truly could not be happier with how they all came out!! It has been such a treasure to be able to look back at those photographs and immediately put myself back in those moments. All around she is THE BEST!!!

My filmmaking journey has taken me all over the world, from Japan to Iceland, creating a wide variety of promo videos, real estate walkthroughs, graduation stories, and short documentaries. However, my true passion has always resided in capturing love stories. For the last seven years I’ve focused all my passion on capturing the unique and intimate moments on wedding days.

I hired Larissa to shoot a video for me and she surpassed every expectation. As a professional myself, when I hire someone to shoot for my business, it means that I'm giving them the utmost trust because they are representing the business that takes care of my family. I gave that trust to Larissa and she blew me away with her professionalism, kindness, eye for detail, technical knowledge, and fun to be around personality. As a professional wedding photographer and videographer myself, I would hire her in a heart beat to shoot my own wedding and that is saying something. She is worth every penny and then some and I look forward to working with her again.

I'm east coast born & raised, but a loyal Seattle convert since 2014. I love trash reality tv. I teach aerial yoga once a week. I'm usually craving fries. I'll never turn down a margarita (except while I'm on the clock at your wedding!). I lead student trips abroad with National Geographic. I think there's no better way to spend a summer day than in the sun and on a paddle board. And I think that your wedding should be exactly how you and your partner want it to be. Email me at katejmillerphotography@gmail.com and I’ll tell you hilarious stories and answer all of your questions.

Kate Miller is not only a lovely human being, but she is also a heck of a photographer. Prior to becoming a wedding planner, Kate was my go to photographer for everything. She made me feel comfortable in front of the camera in all kinds of settings so it felt natural to ask her to photograph my wedding, too. Her approach was thoughtful, complete, and easy. She gave just enough direction to make us feel supported, but not so much that she interrupted the flow and ease of the day. The photos turned out fantastic and feel true to what the day looked like in real life, which is something my husband and I deeply value. We didn't want our photos to look like a filtered or stylized version of our memories; we wanted a beautiful and complete collection of the joy on that day, just as it was. As a now wedding planner, Kate Miller is my top recommendation to my close personal friends who get married. I know that the experience she provides is stellar from start to finish and that there is no one better to take care of my loved ones.

Imperia Lake Union is situated in former historic Lake Union Café, originally built in 1927 and converted to an event venue over 20 years ago. A 6,000 square foot private event space overlooking Lake Union from the Eastlake neighborhood of Seattle, Imperia features 10-foot chandeliers, copper ceilings, a built-in dance floor, gourmet menus, premium florals, incredible staff, and so much more. With a Roaring 20’s Art-Deco vibe and a rumored history of being a prohibition-era speakeasy, you’ll be transported into living history and a classic elegance when you host your event with us.

I can't say enough good thing about Imperia! We did basically everything through them- day of coordination, food, drinks, and florals. The flowers were gorgeous and everyone's bouquets smelled amazing! My parents have some friends that are VERY into wine, and I had one of them come up to me and mention how great the selection was (we did choose the most premium option). And I could not have imagined doing the day without JJ, our day of coordinator. She made the whole day seamless.

We are a full service venue with an exclusive in-house catering and full beverage program, located in Seattle’s vibrant Georgetown neighborhood. Housed in a warehouse garage and the historic Mission Theater, our space combines contemporary amenities with vintage elegance, featuring high ceilings, exposed brickwork, and carefully curated architectural artifacts. Our versatile floor plan includes two adjoining spaces, two mezzanines, stage, grand staircase, plus a private, tree-filled outdoor courtyard. Welcoming for 40 to 300 guests, it’s available year-round, seven days a week for weddings, receptions, birthday and anniversary parties, company parties & meetings, fundraisers, product launches and more. Guests have called The Georgetown Ballroom “charming, eclectic, fantastically unusual, a hidden gem, the perfect urban setting.” All that and more, it’s the perfect place for your unforgettable event. Showings by appointment only. Please contact us to set up time to view the space.

If there was a way for me to leave a 10-star review, I would!!! We got married at Georgetown Ballroom and the entire experience from Day 1 has been nothing short of spectacular. From the very first email we sent, we were partnered with Nancy Neyhart to help us execute our perfect wedding, and she went above and beyond. Her commitment to service, communication, kindness, and honesty were so helpful as we planned our wedding. We loved having a single person throughout the almost year-long process that we could rely on and build a relationship with. The venue itself is spectacular. It was colorful, spacious, bright, and funky, all perfect for a March wedding in Seattle where rain was always in the cards. We were able to visit several times, including an impromptu walk-through with our parents to show them the space long before our wedding day. A lot of other venues we looked at would have charged for an extra run-through, but Nancy was so welcoming and even gave our parents the same magical tour she gave us. We also got to visit for a menu tasting which was a fun evening that we turned into a date night. Catering was included in the booking, and the food was fabulous! We went with a taco bar and our guests raved about how different and fun our food was to the average wedding. The price was absolutely fair and in-line with caterers we had been researching before booking the venue. It never felt like GTB was nickel-and-diming us. Every decision was ours to make, with no hidden charges or fees. With Nancy's help, we were able to create the perfect wedding for our budget, our vision, and our guests. We will be singing the praises of this venue for the rest of our lives! Thank you thank you thank you, Nancy and team. You exceeded our expectations in every possible way.

After working eight years in New York City within the fashion industry, I decided to develop one of my childhood passions, art. Since I was a child, I viewed the world through an artist’s eye with an especially adoring love for floral design. Colors and textures - even the way they move. All of this comes together to tell my clients' unique story through floral design. To me, nothing is more fulfilling than starting with a blank canvas, bringing together just the right pieces, and letting the visual narrative flow on its own.

Chloe is amazing!! You must hire her. Not only is her design work top notch, she really went above and beyond to make my floral dreams come true. My budget was not huge but I had a very specific vision and she did everything she could to work with me. She is super responsive and friendly (and professional!) which made planning so easy and pleasant. I cannot recommend her more if you're looking for a wedding florist in the area.

We can’t wait to make the magic happen at your party!

We absolutely LOVED our experience with Waylon and Bamboo Beats! First and foremost- Waylon was an amazing DJ, our friends and family were commenting on his talent throughout the night. He was responsive to requests, read the room really well, and kept a variety of nonstop hits coming for our 5 hour dance party! He also seemed like he was enjoying himself, which was super fun for us to see throughout the night. He captured some great videos and pictures throughout the evening too, and since we were busy dancing, it was SO fun to be able to look back and re-live these moments later! We also loved our experience with Jojo and Bamboo Beats leading up to the wedding. We had an initial Zoom call, and then after booking there was clear and concise ent communication. We filled out a preliminary form and then they had a great app where we could upload songs, notes, playlists from Spotify, and about a month before the wedding we had another call with Jojo and Waylon (our DJ). We felt very seen and cared for throughout the planning process and then our experience the day of was 12 out of 10. Thank you, Waylon, Jojo and the Bamboo Beats team- we HIGHLY recommend them for your wedding or event. -Maria & Campbell (married 7/8/23 at Cathedral)

Becky G Studios

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000

California native, PNW resident, coffee drinker, dog scritcher, friend, forward-thinker, designer. I hate having my photo taken (go figure), my dog Boone makes me laugh every day, and I thrive off of honest, intentional conversations. I’ve worked as a photographer for over 8 years and I know that half the job is connecting with people and offering them an experience, not just a gallery. I believe you have to feel comfortable with the person behind the camera before you can let go and fully be yourself in front of it.

My husband and I found Becky G on yelp and after reviewing her website and photographs, we reached out to her and we are so happy we did! Becky is not only an incredible photographer but also very professional and communicates well with her clients. She had us fill out a questionnaire to ensure she captured all of the moments we were most excited about. On the day of the wedding, her and her assistant took photos of the wedding parties, the families, guest, dancing and of course myself and my husband. After the wedding, she sent us sneak peaks and we received all the photos in a timely manner. We were so happy with how they turned out. We will definitely be using Becky’s services again in the future!

My husband and I chose Betty to document our wedding day and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Betty was so easy to work with and professional, guiding us through the photography plan and details with utmost care. Planning the wedding ourselves wasn’t easy, but we never had to worry about the photography with Betty as our vendor. She was always on top of communication, getting back to us in a prompt, friendly manner with clear information. She also accommodated a space change at our venue just days before the wedding. Betty’s images of our special day are simply breathtaking. We love the compositions, color, emotions, and how thoroughly she captured each part of our wedding. On the night of, we received a preview gallery to share with family & friends that evening which was fantastic. When it came time to view the complete set, we were struck with joy, and our guests had highly positive feedback, too. I know we will treasure these photos for a lifetime! We also worked with Betty on our album design which turned out stunning. We were in awe of her quick turnaround on the layout work. The process of reviewing and refining each spread was so fun and professional! We absolutely recommend Photography by Betty Elaine for anyone looking for an incredible, experienced photographer. My husband and I used Bell-Towne films for our wedding videography and it was absolutely worth it. Everyone told us our day would fly by, and boy were they right. But every month we get to relive our big day through not only our eyes with our morning interviews, but through the eyes of our friends and family as we watch back the moments we missed! Working with Lindsay and Alex was so smooth, they were incredibly professional and helped ease all the butterflies and anxieties that come with your wedding day. Their personal touches, like capturing our venue through drone footage, and micing my husband getting sweet moments between us, mean the world to me. On top of everything else the timeliness of our professionally edited wedding video was what really stood out to us! We truly can’t say enough good things about working with Bell-Towne films, or our wedding video that we very much cherish!

  • Starts at $1,800

We design and plan celebrations with purpose and meaning while keeping in mind the social and environmental impact it will have. We downplay excess and one-time use decor and uphold experiences and connection. Kiira started Evergreen Event Company 3 years ago, but she worked in the event industry much longer. She got her start planning corporate events but found them a bit boring. She enjoys planning weddings because she gets jazzed on creative decor ideas, fun, personalized details that show off the couple's personality and solving tough logistical problems.

Evergreen Event Company made our wedding run so smoothly from start to finish! Kiira covers every detail, is lovely to work with and thinks of everything ahead of time to be perfectly prepped for the wedding day! Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Alia and Becca, the ladies behind Lady Grey, enough. Not only are their designs absolutely unique and superbly stunning, but the flavor combinations they come up with are just extraordinary. I always try to stay away from trying their cakes during client tastings but so far have been unsuccessful because they are just THAT GOOD. I recommend them to each and every one of my couples and I have never (and will never!) been disappointed with what they've created. Each bite is sublime and I would certainly hire them to create my own wedding cake about all others!

Flour Lane Bake Shop

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Baker
  • Starts at $350

I’m Becky, pastry chef and owner of Flour Lane Bake Shop. My passion is creating incredible, custom desserts for special moments in your life. I specialize in making cakes, tarts, cupcakes, and other sweet treats for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, or just a really great Saturday night.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Becky from Flour Lane Bake Shop for our wedding cake, and I cannot express enough how delighted we were with the entire experience. From the initial cake sampling to the final product, Becky exceeded our expectations in every aspect. We connected with Becky and she recommended cake samples: Each 4" wide, 4" tall, two-layers. We sampled three incredible flavors: Matcha with strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream, Coconut with berry filling and coconut buttercream, and Chai Spice with cream cheese filling and cinnamon buttercream. Not only were the samples decorated beautifully, but they were also irresistibly delicious. Becky was very flexible and allowed us to finalize our final flavors up to a month before the wedding. After careful consideration, we decided on a three-tiered cake featuring Coconut, Chai Spice, and a Salted Caramel flavor. What truly set Becky apart was her attention to detail in the cake design. She shared several photos featuring different designs, many of which incorporated a stunning watercolor effect and meticulously arranged flowers on the cake. On the wedding day, when our cake was set up, it was nothing short of a spectacular and the flavors were an absolute hit with our guests. The coconut, chai spice, and salted caramel layers complemented each other perfectly yet each tier would shine on its own. Flour Lane not only provided us with a visually stunning and delicious wedding cake but also demonstrated professionalism and a genuine passion for the craft. I wholeheartedly recommend Flour Lane to any couple seeking a wedding cake that goes beyond expectations, both in taste and presentation. Thank you, Becky, for being a crucial part of making our wedding day truly sweet and memorable.

Weddings hold a special place in our hearts, and we are honored to be part of your journey. Whether you dream of an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, our versatile space can accommodate your vision. Our dedicated team understands the importance of personalizing your wedding day. From helping you choose the perfect arrangement of flowers to providing guidance on music selection, we are committed to making your experience unforgettable. Pastor Marci is available to officiate your ceremony, ensuring that every aspect reflects your unique love story.

We were married at MUCC in August of last year and it was perfect! The church space itself is lovely and looks wonderful in our photos. The sanctuary is especially beautiful with lovely stained glass windows. They also had plenty of space in another area of the church so that we could host our reception there as well. This was really helpful since we had many out of town guests who are unfamiliar with driving in the Seattle area. Beyond that, pastor Marci was really wonderful and met with us before the ceremony to talk about what we wanted. We felt really fortunate to find her, but I believe you can also have your own officiant which is not something many churches allow you to do. We also used their pianist for the ceremony music and he did a fantastic job. Overall everything was very easy and convenient, allowing us to just focus on the day. They are also a wonderful church that contributes to the community, definitely appreciate these folks!

I believe that everyone is beautiful. Somewhere deep within you, there is a fire of light and joy. Not everyone’s light shines in the same way or with the same strength or even all the time. Stuff changes. People are different, but deep down, everyone is connected to the little bit of themselves that is truly theirs. I’m also all about being adventurous. That could mean we’re going to go climb a mountain or it might mean we’re going to try the really spicy chai tea. By experiencing life in the process of making photos, you’re going to be even more connected to the images because they will have stories that go along with them.

A high priority of ours was to have unique yet timeless images from our wedding, and Joe exceeded all of our expectations by delivering a phenomenal set of images. Joe has a thoughtful and creative approach to photography that enables him to capture important moments effortlessly. He included creative and artistic prints in addition to the standard photos that we requested. Joe was a great resource for us throughout the entire wedding planning process, and we are so grateful to have found him to photograph our wedding + engagement! We would highly recommend if you are interested in a photographer with an artistic eye, good communication skills, and great instincts!

As the years have gone by in my career, I have had the pleasure of cultivating a long-lasting journey with my clients, no matter where it began. I have joined in at various times, whether it was at the start of a marriage or with a family that had kids. Regardless of when it all started, I love being there every step of the way to preserve the fleeting moments. We can agree that life goes by far too fast and change is inevitable. Let’s capture these moments, shall we?

Victor Zerga was one of the most professional and kind people we have ever worked with! From the very beginning of our wedding plans, I knew I wanted our wedding photos to reflect Victor’s beautiful lighting style and creativity. He was the photographer for a friend of ours’ wedding years back and I knew I would want to fly him out to Dallas to be a part of our special weekend. My husband and I had an East-African/American bicultural wedding that lasted 2 days long of celebrating and Victor knew exactly what we needed and how to handle our intense wedding party and guests (over 1,000 people at our reception). We’re so grateful for our flawless wedding photos! It’s a time we will never ever forget.

Hi. My name is Eva, great to meet you! Thinking of trusting me with planning your event? Here is a little about me. I am a Vashon Island native, former Chicago dweller and currently live with my husband and two wild boys in West Seattle. I have 10 years of experience of planning + managing gatherings for as little as 20 and as many as 500. From intimate benefactor dinners to elegant fundraisers to festive and modern weddings, I have been involved in just about every aspect of an event that you can think of.

We are at almost at a loss for words as we write this review for Gather Cheer. Hiring Eva is what took our wedding to the next level. She was always available for questions, concerns, and follow-up. She handled a number of administrative items like organizing transportation, walkthroughs, and other details with our vendors. She also offered irreplaceable suggestions to make the day smoother or to make us and our guests more comfortable. There was so much behind-the-scenes work she did for us, that we're sure we're not aware of most of it. Not only is Eva organized, she is also so kind and relatable which was what we needed through this process. We walked into (and out of!) our wedding day absolutely blown away, and really that is because of Eva. We cannot thank her enough and would recommend her for any planning needs.

Hi, my name is Olga and I am a wedding, elopement and family photographer based in Seattle. My style is light, romantic and timeless. I love to tell your story through the pictures and capture the love between you. Life is a journey with lots of happy moments. I would love to capture them for you!

Olga did such a phenomenal job capturing our engagement pictures that we hired her to capture our wedding as well. She showed up, all by herself, and managed to capture stunning images of not only smaller private moments, our ceremony, goofiness and love during our procession, incredible group photos, pictures of our families, and anything in between. She is a professional, yet brings a kindness and playfulness that worked with us so well - and we've loved every moment of working with her from the moment we reached out. I'm Amy & I'm so glad you're here! So, you’ve found your person & you’re both taking the plunge, eh? Rad! Tell me everything! Photographing a couple's love story is something I never take for granted. It is an honor & privilege to create art for my couples. My absolute favorite thing to do is illustrate your love story, your adventure, your favorite memories. Let's create some magic!

Ashley is seriously one of the best vendors I've ever worked with. Her photos are wonderful and fit the sweet, romantic style with a hint of vintage. But not only is her work great, she's so easy to work with. She makes sure to be there for every step of the process and is so easy to talk to. My husband and I are not the most photogenic but she makes the whole process simple and fun. I can't recommend her enough!

I’m a Seattle wedding photographer and a dog lover. my passport is current, and I will travel anywhere your wedding adventure takes you - even elopements! My photography is inspired by traveling the world and telling stories through my images. I would be honored to be your wedding photographer. let's meet over coffee or a glass of wine- I would love to learn about your vision for the big day.

Working with Tony was a delight and I would recommend him 10/10. We were connected to Tony through a friend and I'm so happy we were able to meet and work with him for our engagement, rehearsal, and wedding photos. Not only are our photos incredible, but Tony was great at giving us direction, calming us down, making us laugh, and slowing us down to enjoy the day and the process. We were able to get all of the family and "must have" photos, but the large scale nature shots are our favorite and beautifully highlight the scenery. Tony was seemingly everywhere during the weekend and it's impressive how many shots and angles he was able to capture. Tony is responsive, communicative, and a joy to work with. I'm sad it's over, but I am so happy we were connected to Tony for our wedding adventure.

The Ruins

The Ruins is a whimsical venue hidden in plain sight, in the heart of Seattle’s Lower Queen Anne neighborhood. For several decades, the Ruins was known as Seattle’s best kept secret, hosting private dinners and wild parties for its members. The Ruins boasts a maximalist aesthetic and is full of surprises big and small, including an antique life-size animatronic elephant built in 1931 for the Paris World Exhibition. The Ruins has a unique ability to take guests to another time and place, making them forget what lies on the outside. This makes it the perfect backdrop for imaginative parties where no idea is too crazy.

The Ruins is like someone took all the cool bits of Seattle, threw in a dash of vintage Europe, and turned it into a wedding venue. From the get-go, the place just oozes personality. You've got walls with hand-painted murals that could have been lifted from a storybook – I’m talking vibrant colors, whimsical scenes, the works. And antlers. And trees indoors. Each room in The Ruins has its own thing going on. One feels like a swanky 1920s lounge, another like a secret garden. We had space to spare, so people could either kick back in a cozy corner or hit the dance floor without stepping on toes. The décor is this wild combo of eclectic and classic – it's like your great aunt’s house if she had more money than cigarettes and if she collected stuff from around the globe and had a killer eye for design. The library is amazing – shelves lined with books, a fireplace that makes you want to curl up with a novel, and this epic swooning couch. So, I might’ve taken inspiration from George Costanza – yep, I did a topless photo shoot on that couch. It was all in good fun, and the photos are a riot – a keepsake that breaks the mold of typical wedding seriousness, just like The Ruins itself. The food was great (but they let you bring in your own desserts so do so if you wanna save some money). The only, minor issue, is the bridal suite's location. It’s right by the kitchen, so it’s kinda like Grand Central at rush hour with the staff buzzing through. Note to brides: Swap it out for the library. Trust me, it’s much less busy (if darker) and you won’t have the kitchen hustle messing with your pre-walk-down-the-aisle zen. Honestly, The Ruins is the kind of place that’s perfect if you want a wedding that's a bit left of center but still super heartfelt. It’s quirky without trying too hard and intimate without being cramped. The whole day felt like us – not stuffy, just a big, fun, love-filled party. The Ruins has many nooks crammed with curiosities and corners begging for a photo op, it’s a place that feels alive. The mix of odd and elegant, the hand-painted walls that seem to whisper tales, the stuff like the enormous elephant (sadly, only in the back back room so only good for wedding photos not the guests) and the patterned horse and much more all adds up to a vibe that’s as unique as your weird cousin, the cool one, not the other one. The Ruins is like that one weird friend who's always got a story to tell and makes everything more fun. Having our wedding there was like a non-stop highlight reel – even with the bridal suite hiccup. It's a place for good vibes, great times, and amazing photos to start your weirdly ever after.

Sound And Sea Photography

I’m Julie! I am so excited that you are interested in choosing sound and sea to document your special day! I believe that choosing a wedding photographer is about more than just hiring someone with a camera to document your day. your wedding photographer should be someone who makes you feel comfortable, someone who eases the craziness of a wedding day, someone organized and fun, and maybe, someone who eventually becomes a friend.

Julie is amazing!! From the first meeting with her to the day of our elopement, she was friendly, knowledgeable and so helpful. She captured our special moment perfectly and followed us to our two extra locations to get pictures. She provided direction to get the best shots and provided insightful recommendations to ensure the best possible photos. If you can get Julie as your photographer, DO IT!

The Afterparty Band

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Band or Ensemble
  • Starts at $5,000

The Afterparty is your non-stop party show band! With entertaining & fun choreography, costumes and props, audience interactions, and seamless non-stop music sets, this dynamic group brings an unforgettable spark to every performance!

The Afterparty Band and their Duo was one of the best choices we made for our wedding of 100 people! The Duo also set a great ambiance to our outdoor Cocktail Hour. Now, our guests are still talking about how much fun they had dancing and singing along with the band all night. We loved the visuals with lighting, dancing, costume changes, and props. My husband and I couldn’t find time to leave the dance floor because their compilations just flow from one to the next. At first I thought our party would be too small for an 8-piece band at the reception, but they were the perfect addition to build up the crowd and keep everyone together on the dance floor. They even came into the crowd to sing and play instruments to stir up enthusiasm. My only regret was not having more time to chat with our guests for longer because we simply couldn’t peel ourselves off the dance floor. Tristan and Jeff are so responsive, and they were able to work with both me and my wedding coordinators directly to take some of the logistics off my plate. It was also very fun working with the band for all requests. They learned our first dance song so quickly and even sent me a sample of a shortened version of the song to practice to with my husband. They are a wonderful band for any kind of event, large or small, that you want your guests dancing all night with happy hearts.

And the pictures we received were STUNNING. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sam. Even my very hard to please mother said "That is a real photographer", which is really the highest compliment she has given anyone. Thank you for capturing our special day Sam!

Emily Paris Photography

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,600

I’m Emily, and I’m a photographer who loves the outdoors, bright colors, and creating photos that capture your authentic self. My style is colorful and candid, almost photojournalistic at times. I’ll capture the standard portraits for your extended family to put on their fridge, of course, but I also try to create photos that show what it really felt like to be there – the bright smiles, the tears, the dancing.

Emily was phenomenal to work with - she is friendly, thoughtful, and talented! She took time to chat with us in advance of the day to make sure that her approach to photography was exactly what we were looking for and to ensure she captured some of the key shots we really wanted. Emily's work reflects the authenticity of the beauty of our wedding without a bunch of overediting I've seen from other photographers. I would highly recommend her for capturing a family and joy focused album, especially if you have an outdoor component to your wedding!

Chelsea Abril Photography

Seattle, WA

  • Starts at $5,500

Candid, vivacious photography for life's best moments. Destination wedding and intimate elopement photographer based in Seattle and serving the Hawaiian Islands (Hawaii/Big Island, Maui, Oahu, and Kauai), the West Coast, and abroad.

Like the procrastinator I am, I totally dropped the ball and did not even start to find a wedding photographer until way too late. Luckily, Chelsea fell from the heavens and not only had our wedding date available but was also prepared to do an initial meeting with us the same day we reached out (on New Years Eve no less). What else can I say about Chelsea other than that she is FANTASTIC. We were having a small, COVID friendly wedding that I was planning myself and she offered us so many fun ideas that brought our wedding to the next level. Have you ever been to a wedding where every single guest commented on how great the photographer was? It was like she was part of the family, and honestly, I didn’t even care what the photos looked like because she was just incredible to have around. The photos of course though, were gorgeous. Chelsea is so talented, and she completely captured the light, beachy aesthetic that we were going for. If I ever need a photographer in the future, she will be my first call – and she should be yours too!!
