Party On The Rocks
Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)
Burien, WA
  • Bar services & beverages

Party on the Rocks event staffing and bartending service is Puget Sound’s answer to all your party help needs! Our trained and insured staff can help with engagement parties, weddings, and anything in between! We’re there to help with event set up, be an extra set of hands for the caterers, and clean up and the end of the night – allowing the host to sit back and relax with their guests. Our bartenders are licensed and trained in event etiquette and create a fun and safe service. We are a local woman-owned small business and are proud to be on many preferred vendors lists.

Party on the Rocks was such a solid choice for our wedding and an incredible value for the service they provide. They’re very reasonably priced, and what we especially appreciated is how flexible and accommodating they are. For example, they let us provide our own fresh-squeezed lemon and lime juice for cocktails instead of requiring store-bought, which made our drinks feel more personal and fresh. They’re also refreshingly transparent—when I was stressing about finalizing cocktail choices, they reassured me that I had until two weeks before the wedding to lock in our second drink, which gave us much-needed breathing room. It’s worth noting that they get very busy during peak summer wedding season, so responses were sometimes slower and I did need to follow up on a few items. That said, outside of the busiest months, their communication was quick and booking them was a breeze. Honestly, the quality, flexibility, and value they bring far outweigh that small inconvenience. If I could go back in time knowing what I know now, I would absolutely book them again in a heartbeat—and I’d recommend them to any couple looking for great bartending service at a great value. Our guests loved the cocktails, and Party on the Rocks made our bar service seamless and fun!

Events by Claire, LLC
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
Burien, WA
  • Planner
  • Offers 7 services

My name is Claridel, also known as Claire. I started using my nickname Claire my freshmen year of college in hopes that it would help my self-confidence shine. I started Events by Claire after spending 12 years in the medical field. During those 12 years, I coordinated and planned multiple weddings of friends just for fun! After constant encouragement from friends and family, I decided to use my creativeness, organizational skills and passion to help people through event planning. Making this change has not only helped me stay passionate about life but it has also helped couples feel less overwhelmed when it came to their wedding.

Awarded Best of Zola
Claridel is incredibly well-organized and detail-oriented. She makes sure every step of the process is clearly communicated, outlining all the details so nothing is overlooked. She brings great ideas to the table, is always accommodating, and is easy to reach whenever you have questions. On top of that, her pricing is very reasonable. I truly appreciated her support and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and creative event planner.

Bouquets by Britt
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Burien, WA
  • Florist
  • Starts at $200

I have always been in love with all things floral and gardening, learning from my mother and grandmother. Spending countless hours out in the garden growing up, I learned flower names and how to care and tend to them. Then in college, I had the chance to intern at a fabulous florist which took my fascination to a whole new level! Seeing what I could create using florals and bringing people's visions to life for their celebration, brought me so much joy. So as I began Bouquets by Britt (an endearing family name) that was my goal, to bring joy to any celebration with the use of floral design.

Bouquets by Britt was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From our very first interaction, Britt's communication was excellent. She was always prompt in responding to our emails, kind in her demeanor, and extremely organized in walking us through the process. On the day of the wedding, Britt and her team delivered floral arrangements that were truly stunning. The quality of their work was exceptional, with beautiful, fresh flowers that perfectly captured the look I had envisioned. All I knew was I wanted white flowers and greenery, and Britt executed my desires better than I could have imagined. Bouquets by Britt was a true professional throughout, and we are so grateful for the beautiful touch they added to our special day.

I'm Jen, the founder of Vow House, a Seattle-based wedding photography studio dedicated to capturing love stories with an editorial, artful, and cinematic approach. With over a decade of experience behind the camera, I have built a body of work that blends moody, timeless imagery with authentic storytelling, tailored to each couple’s vision. My work is deeply influenced by atmosphere and environment, the rainy Seattle streets, mountain backdrops, candlelit interiors, and I thrive on translating these settings into images that feel both grand and intimate.

Awarded Best of Zola
We had a WONDERFUL experience with Jennifer from our initial zoom meeting to our engagement photos to our wedding day! Her communication is top-notch and her tips and suggestions for everything from outfit and location choices for our engagement photos to wedding day timeline and suggested shot lists were so so helpful. My partner and I are not natural born models by any stretch of the imagination, but Jennifer made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She captured the vibe of our wedding perfectly, from the detail shots to the candid guest photos. It was really hard to choose which ones to include in this review because we had so many favorites! We can't recommend JL Thomas Photography enough to capture your wedding day. Also highly recommend adding in some film shots as well! You can tell how much time and energy Jennifer puts into her photography and we will treasure these photos forever.

We are here to support you through all the decisions and creative visions that come with the wedding planning process. We are inclusive of all couples and all love stories.

Awarded Best of Zola
Hiring Finn was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. If you're wondering whether a planner/coordinator is worth it, the answer is yes. Having Finn meant we, our family, and our wedding party could truly enjoy the day instead of answering questions or worrying about logistics. As someone who plans events professionally, I know how much coordination goes into pulling off a successful event—and weddings are in a league of their own. From our first conversation, it was clear that Finn was experienced, organized, and confident. She immediately put us at ease. Although we hired Finn as a day-of coordinator, she provided so much more than day-of support. Throughout the planning process, she answered countless questions, communicated with vendors, created our timeline, reviewed the venue's plans to catch details and potential issues, offered thoughtful recommendations, and truly served as our advocate every step of the way. She also has a helpful collection of planning resources, vendor recommendations, officiant guidance, and rental items. She even offered to pick up our wedding cakes for us! Finn ran our rehearsal and wedding day seamlessly. She made sure everyone was prepared, everything stayed on schedule, and every behind-the-scenes detail was handled without us needing to think about it. She also helped my brother prepare to officiate his first wedding, taking the time to walk him through everything beforehand so he felt comfortable. What impressed me most was her demeanor. Weddings are fast-paced and unpredictable, and Finn remained calm, kind, cheerful, and collected throughout the day. She treated us, our family, wedding party, and guests with genuine warmth and professionalism. Several guests even commented on how wonderful she was. That's a rare quality and one that made such a difference in the overall experience. I've been to weddings where vendors are visibly stressed and short with guests, and you don't need to worry about that with Finn. Our wedding day went so smoothly because of Finn, and we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment. I truly can't recommend her enough -- she is exactly the person you want in your corner on one of the biggest days of your life.

Campanula Design Studio
Rating: 4.9 (50 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Florist
  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Burien, WA

Hi! I am Melissa, the Founder and Creative Director of Campanula Design Studio. Over the years, working with clients and helping them to express their emotions through flowers taught me to truly appreciate the importance of showing our love and gratitude for one another through the simplest of gestures. A single perfect bloom, small gift, or short note can transform a mood. Combining a love for event planning and hosting celebrations, an eye for design, and a desire to bring people together in meaningful ways, I founded Campanula in 2019.

Awarded Best of Zola
Melissa provided the most beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets for my wedding! I would highly recommend Campanula Design Studio to anybody looking for wedding florals! I had a specific vision for the flowers at my wedding, and Melissa provided exactly what I was picturing but with these little special touches that made it even more beautiful than I could have imagined. When I walked outside to the reception space and saw all of the florals set up, I was in awe at how beautiful it was and how perfectly Melissa had brought this idea to life. For my bouquet I had a much less specific vision; I mostly just wanted some bright flowers to carry down the aisle. Melissa took my incredibly vague requests, along with the info she gleaned about my dress, the location, the whole vibe of the wedding, and my favorite flowers, and with her expertise she created a stunning bouquet that was absolutely perfect for me. I looked at that bouquet all day long and kept noticing these tiny, incredibly thoughtful details that made it so special and perfect for the occasion. It’s so clear how much care and attention to detail was put into creating these arrangements. Melissa was thoughtful and easy to talk to, extremely communicative throughout the whole process, and helped me find the right words to describe what I wanted. I truly can’t express enough how grateful I am to her for creating such beautiful work for my wedding.

We booked Sheeco Weddings—specifically Nicole—as our day-of coordinator, and we truly couldn’t recommend Nicole or the Sheeco team more. The way they structure their coordination services was an absolute dream. Starting about a month before the wedding, we began meeting with Nicole, and she took the time to truly get to know everything: our vendors, décor, family dynamics, and all the little details that make a wedding run smoothly. She created our full timeline and took over communication with all of our vendors, which was such a huge relief. The level of detail she thought through was incredible—things we never would have considered on our own. Having someone so organized and supportive leading up to the big day relieved so much stress. We had a very DIY wedding, with a lot of moving parts. All vendors were booked individually, and we brought in all of our décor ourselves—candles, hurricane glasses, table linens, napkins, cutlery, cups, name cards, signage for the bar, seating chart, welcome sign, and even our cake table (since we picked up the cake ourselves). Nicole and her assistant executed that vision perfectly—truly above and beyond our expectations. Everything was set up beautifully and exactly how we had imagined it. Because of Nicole and the Sheeco team, my husband and I, our families, and our wedding party were able to completely relax and be fully present on our wedding day. I knew that if anything came up, it would be handled seamlessly. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better day-of coordination/wedding management package. Nicole and Sheeco Events are absolutely worth it—hands down the best decision we made for our wedding.

Our event went absolutely flawlessly with Billy and Jason at the helm. He was not only our DJ, but our lighting guy, pyrotechnics (with the cold sparks), MC, and day-of coordinator. I mean… Can you really ask for more? If we would have hired different vendors for all of those roles we’d have pay 4x the price. So for their Diamond package it was an absolute steal. Pricing aside, they absolutely slayed the dance floor and Billy was hysterical with jokes and fun games throughout the evening. Why are you even still reading? You should have already booked them!!

The Ruins by Landmark Event Co is a one-of-a-kind wedding venue in Seattle’s Lower Queen Anne neighborhood. The venue can accommodate 150 seated guests and 300 standing, offering a flexible layout for any event. Herban Feast provides award-winning catering at all our venues, delivering exceptional food and service tailored to your event for a smooth, seamless experience.

  • Multiple event spaces

  • Has a dance floor for celebration

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • No on-premises lodging options
  • No built-in audiovisual options
The Ruins is like someone took all the cool bits of Seattle, threw in a dash of vintage Europe, and turned it into a wedding venue. From the get-go, the place just oozes personality. You've got walls with hand-painted murals that could have been lifted from a storybook – I’m talking vibrant colors, whimsical scenes, the works. And antlers. And trees indoors. Each room in The Ruins has its own thing going on. One feels like a swanky 1920s lounge, another like a secret garden. We had space to spare, so people could either kick back in a cozy corner or hit the dance floor without stepping on toes. The décor is this wild combo of eclectic and classic – it's like your great aunt’s house if she had more money than cigarettes and if she collected stuff from around the globe and had a killer eye for design. The library is amazing – shelves lined with books, a fireplace that makes you want to curl up with a novel, and this epic swooning couch. So, I might’ve taken inspiration from George Costanza – yep, I did a topless photo shoot on that couch. It was all in good fun, and the photos are a riot – a keepsake that breaks the mold of typical wedding seriousness, just like The Ruins itself. The food was great (but they let you bring in your own desserts so do so if you wanna save some money). The only, minor issue, is the bridal suite's location. It’s right by the kitchen, so it’s kinda like Grand Central at rush hour with the staff buzzing through. Note to brides: Swap it out for the library. Trust me, it’s much less busy (if darker) and you won’t have the kitchen hustle messing with your pre-walk-down-the-aisle zen. Honestly, The Ruins is the kind of place that’s perfect if you want a wedding that's a bit left of center but still super heartfelt. It’s quirky without trying too hard and intimate without being cramped. The whole day felt like us – not stuffy, just a big, fun, love-filled party. The Ruins has many nooks crammed with curiosities and corners begging for a photo op, it’s a place that feels alive. The mix of odd and elegant, the hand-painted walls that seem to whisper tales, the stuff like the enormous elephant (sadly, only in the back back room so only good for wedding photos not the guests) and the patterned horse and much more all adds up to a vibe that’s as unique as your weird cousin, the cool one, not the other one. The Ruins is like that one weird friend who's always got a story to tell and makes everything more fun. Having our wedding there was like a non-stop highlight reel – even with the bridal suite hiccup. It's a place for good vibes, great times, and amazing photos to start your weirdly ever after.

On the wedding day, he was incredibly friendly and made both my husband and me feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera. He guided us perfectly during our couple photos, which made the experience so enjoyable. We absolutely love our pictures and highly recommend him. Thank you, Luis, for being such an awesome photographer at a great price!

Serving all of Washington and making sure your wedding party is fresh and bountiful. With 12+ years in music production, vinyl collecting, and being a part of the Seattle music scene, I make sure that my performance is tailor-made for you and your loved ones, while making that curation simple and easy for you. I'm honored to help you make this a night you'll remember forever with the loved ones you'll spend forever with.

We booked DJ Ki for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with our choice. He was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process, answering every question we had and making the booking experience completely stress free. We sent him playlists for different parts of the day along with the vibe we wanted, and he absolutely delivered. He kept our guests dancing and the energy felt perfect. His MC skills were fantastic too, keeping things fun and engaging all night long. We had so many guests tell us how great he was, and he even provides cool add ons like karaoke and a bubble machine. We'd recommend DJ Ki to any couple planning a wedding.

We believe that people see the problems our world faces and have the desire to help, but often don’t know where to start. So we started Cathedral with one goal in mind — to build something that’s the sole purpose of existing was to make this world of ours a more just and beautiful place. Building things that matter takes time. Cathedrals took generations to build — those who began the work didn’t see its completion. The architect who drew up the plans would never see their spires rise. The mason laying the bricks would never stand under their cover.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Provides lighting and sound
  • Provides event staff

Its versatile layout and state-of-the-art equipment make it an ideal setting for a diverse range of occasions, each tailored to reflect the unique style and personality of our clients. The venue features elegant wooden tables that require no linens, enhancing the natural beauty of the space. Additionally, the fully equipped bar, complete with taps and glassware, is ready to accommodate any event's beverage needs. Cathedral is not only a visually stunning venue but also a place with a heart, dedicated to a meaningful cause. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and creating memorable experiences together.

*SEE WEBSITE FOR FULL SERVICE OPTIONS & DETAILS* I'm Brittney Blondino, a Certified Wedding Planner based in Kirkland, WA. Since 2018, I've worked with couples from Portland to Seattle and the 16 markets between them. Bells Bows and Vows is small by design. I limit the weddings I take each year to protect the quality of my work and the experience my couples have — from the first planning conversation to the last dance. Eight years in this market means my vendor network is built on real relationships, not referral directories. When I recommend someone, it's because I've worked alongside them. That matters when a wedding day calls for a fast, quiet pivot.

Awarded Best of Zola
Bells Bows and Vows is truly a top-tier wedding planning company. Brittney and her team are detailed, dedicated, and always go above and beyond to ensure their clients' visions come to life. Their communication style is impeccable, and they work tirelessly to make sure all vendors are seamlessly coordinated as a cohesive team. I know that when Bells Bows and Vows is involved, we're guaranteed to have a wonderful, stress-free wedding day. Brittney is one of my favorite planners to work with, and I highly recommend their services to any couple planning their special day.

We are a Latina owned, Pnw based collective of hair and makeup artists dedicated to professionalism, art, and helping bring to life your beauty inspirations for your big day. We pride ourselves in our years of experience, while continuing to keep up with the ever changing trends, and the newest styles in bridal hair and makeup.

I chose GLAMbridal because they seemed to focus on natural wedding makeup that enhances your features -- and that's what they delivered for me on wedding day. GLAMbridal's communication was friendly and transparent throughout the process, although at times my coordinator and I waited a while for responses to our questions. On the day of the wedding, my artist, Lou, was calm and adaptable, working diligently to create a beautiful, natural look that enhanced my features. Lou worked hard to use my top-of-the-shoulder (aka fairly short) hair to create a beautiful low bun with twists of hair leading into it from each front side. After I cried during my first look and messed up the foundation and powder on my cheeks, Lou stepped away from working on my mom's hair to give me a touch up. Lou helped my mom look her best, too. My makeup did not hold up well through the ceremony when I cried a fair bit more but never balled. I ended up removing everything but my eye makeup right after the ceremony and license signing because I had big streaks down my cheeks. I've never had professional makeup done before, so I really don't know how well it should withstand tears sliding down it. It was a little disappointing to have to remove all the makeup covering up my rosacea before the reception, but I was grateful that the eye makeup had held up well despite the tears. Overall, I think Lou and GLAMbridal did excellent work in professional and friendly manner and at a fair and reasonable price. I recommend them to other brides.
