Beautiful and delicious!

We decided to do a dessert table and a small cutting cake for our wedding and ordered the large dessert package from Hollywood Baked Goods (HBG). We couldn't have been more happy with our choice as the desserts were delicious and also decorated beautifully. HBG had an extensive choice of flavors for their treats which catered to all of our guests. The desserts were a major highlight of our wedding and our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. We definitely recommend having Hollywood Baked Goods as your dessert catering for your wedding!

I wanted to get a mini 4” chocolate cake for my wife's birthday. I called ahead twice to politely ask if there was any flexibility on their 3-day rule by just one day, so I could pick it up a day early at closing time and surprise her at midnight. It was a pretty basic order for a 4” cake and not something overly complex or difficult to accommodate, but the response on the phone both times was surprisingly dismissive, along the lines of "check the website for rules." I completely respect having clear policies, but a little courtesy goes a long way. As for the cake itself, it was good, but honestly no better than what I bought from a local neighborhood bakery. Given the high price and the unwelcoming first impression, I don't think I will be returning.

I needed a gluten-free cake at the last minute, so I called the bakery to see if they had any available for pickup. They did, so I picked one up and paid $45 for a small cake. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The cake was way too sweet and dry, neither my kids nor I liked the taste or texture. We ended up throwing it away. For $45, I expected much better quality. Honestly, I could have bought a cake from Safeway or Fred Meyer for a much lower price and probably been more satisfied. I’m very disappointed with the taste, texture, and overall value for the price. I definitely won’t be going back.

Holly’s team assembled a beautiful vanilla, lemon-curd cake for our wedding. We had many dietary needs to accommodate and we were so relieved to find a place that could help us prepare a spread of goodies that not only managed that, but were also incredibly delicious! Ordering was a breeze and clear, and pickup was so easy. We are incredibly grateful and highly recommend them the next time you need a sweet treat!
