  • Can't Say Enough Good Things about Abagail!!!

    My husband Jeff and I co-run the The Afterparty, a wedding and event band based in Seattle. After working on a wedding with Abagail in the summer of 2022, I wrote her a glowing review as she was honestly the best planner we had worked with in the industry. We mutually wrote reviews for each other at that time because both Abagail and I were surprised and delighted by how well we aligned with regard to our professional standards and philosophies. She felt like a kindred spirit, with a similar work ethic and mindset to say the least. Last fall, Jeff and I had already begun working with another planner for our July 2023 wedding. Unfortunately, our planner was becoming increasingly difficult to work with, and we finally became frustrated to the point where we had to fire her. We remembered how pleasant it was to work with Abagail, so we reached out to her to see if she was still available for our date. The stars aligned, and she was! We booked her basically the next day and fired the other one. She came in a little over halfway through our planning process and got all caught up to speed (absolutely no thanks to the previous planner, who deleted all of our documents). Luckily, Abagail has every possible spreadsheet you could need for any given wedding or event and we got all squared away with everything. Seriously, Abagail is not only ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, but she keeps her word, she follows through like a boss, she jots everything down, she sends recap e-mails after every meeting (I mean what?!? Who does that?!?!), and she truly cares. Right when I would think of something she would think of it. Right when she would think of something, I would think of it. I felt like I had another version of me helping me plan, organize, and coordinate my wedding. I mean who could ask for more?!? She always made us feel better about anything and everything. Nerves, confusion, being unsure about something, stress, fears, anxiety, etc. She always had our back, she was always there for us, she was our biggest cheerleader and confidant as well as our secretary and administrator (lol). She was flawless with her responsibilities leading up to the day and a total champ on the day of. I have no doubt she will be unstoppable and be one of the top wedding planners to hire in Seattle in no time. We got so lucky booking her before she’s too sought after, and you have to book her a year 1/2 in advance. Haha. And she is reasonably priced. She goes above and beyond for her clients and doesn’t charge you an arm, and a leg, and a hip. Weddings are SO expensive. You get such an incredible value with Abagail. And she’s just the sweetest. We really felt her enthusiasm and pride in helping us plan and coordinate our wedding. No detail was missed. Not a single one. (And I can’t say that about every vendor we worked with). We both HIGHLY recommend Abagail’s services. She is a sparkling diamond in a sea of wedding planners. Consider yourself lucky to have found her right now, and don’t hesitate to schedule a meeting with her. That’s the very least you should do. Then book her and know you’re in good hands. She will keep you on schedule, keep you organized (seriously her organization was as good as mine, and I’m extremely organized), not miss a thing, and keep you excited and in a good head space.
