    Thoughtful and personal ceremony from Grace

    We were so honored to have Grace officiate our wedding. From the first meeting with her through the ceremony, Grace was thoughtful, intentional and brought a lot of peace and calm. Every element of the ceremony was special and well planned, thanks to Grace. She gave us invaluable guidance along the way and helped us curate a ceremony that embodied our love.     Grace- couples counseling and wedding officiant

    When we started working with Grace, we didn’t realize how much she would impact our lives for the better. First, we started working with her as our officiant, then, as our pre-marital counselor. Meeting with Grace for counseling was one of the best decisions we made for our relationship. My then fiancé and I made a commitment to learn communication tools to support our marriage going forward. Grace was absolutely amazing as a facilitator and guide. She artfully helped us navigate complex topics that came up during the wedding planning process. We learned invaluable strategies to help us communicate, especially when it’s hard (isn’t that what marriage is?). Most of all, she was invested our relationship’s success, and rooted for us every step of the way! As our officiant, Grace helped us create a ceremony flow that all our guests described as “so us.” Our friends and family praised the intentionality and personalization throughout the ceremony, using words like “mindful,” “powerful,” and “different” from any other wedding they’d been to. Grace was very specific about how the ceremony was put together, and made sure everything she wove together for us was exactly what we wanted. Grace even took the time to meet with and guide us in a meditation prior to the ceremony starting, to help us calm our nerves and settle into the moment. Grace even ended up in a lot of our wedding photos as a joyful, smiling presence in the background! This is really indicative of who she is. She is so caring, intuitive, and a huge presence of love! I can’t imagine our wedding day running so smoothly without Grace’s support. We plan to continue working with Grace in the nascent stage of our marriage to keep practicing all the wonderful tools we’ve learned. Thank you Grace, for all your love and all you do!

    A gift to our wedding and our relationship

    It feels silly to write a business review for someone who has gotten to know you on such a personal level, but other people should know how amazing Grace is! Grace was our wedding officiant, and prior to that we decided to do some pre-marital couples sessions with her. This was the best decision ever. We were already a happy couple (we were getting married after all!), but Grace was able to gently guide us towards even deeper levels of connection, presence, and support for one another. She is so intuitive and present with the people around her, immediately making you feel seen and at ease, and the skills we learned with her have make our relationship all the richer. When it came time to prepare for the wedding, she crafted such a lovely, heartfelt, perfect ceremony made for us. During the ceremony, she guided us and our guests through a practice of presence, which helped us to be in the moment and remember every detail. We received so many complements from our guests about how special the ceremony was. We invited her to stick around afterwards for the festivities and were so happy to have here there. We will absolutely be checking in with Grace regularly in the future. We can’t recommend her enough, whether you’re getting married or just want to deepen your relationship. We love you, Grace!

I have been conducting ceremonies for thirty years and also providing relationship counseling to help couples not only get married but stay happily and securely married.
Absolutely. That is my specialty. Your ceremony should be as unique as you are and I invite your full collaboration. I will provide lots of options ideas and samples for every element and together we will craft your script. I also include your Love Story and engage with your guests so they feel included and appreciated.
Yes for sure. The only difference is that we would not need to include the license signing after the ceremony. The rest of the process is exactly the same.
I am available to attend your rehearsals Mondays through Thursdays. The rehearsal time and my guidance is included in the cost. There is an additional travel fee.
I do provide pre and post marital counseling. It is not a requirement but a strongly encouraged service that I provide. I have designed a beautiful inspiring Course called Deepening Your Love to support you through your planning time and as you settle in to married life. You can include a series of counseling sessions as part of your ceremony package or you can chose to do sessions with me even if you chose someone else to officiate your ceremony.
Yes I offer Officiant Consulting and I strongly recommend it. I will meet with you as a couple and also with your chosen officiant and provide guidance and detailed coaching for how to both design your ceremony and how to be a well prepared and polished MC for the ceremony delivery.
It is never too early to start searching for and selecting your officiant. Your ceremony and commitments are the main reason and the cornerstone of your whole celebration. A year to nine months before your wedding date is a good time to choose your officiant especially if you want a fully custom ceremony with lots of input and support.
