One thing we really loved is he played all our request. He worked around our schedule, using video chat to finalize everything was great ! He has his own website accommodated to you where you can add any music you want through YouTube etc worked out well with our wide variety of genres our guests liked. “We worked with Paul for our January wedding. Originally, I was going to just create a playlist (I was having little to no formalities) until I saw he commented on a Connecticut Bride Facebook Group. Figured a DJ will give me one less thing to worry about, so I inquired and he immediately responded, provided a quick quote, and we set up our first meeting. He just made everything so easy! We had two one-hour long meetings to clearly identify our vision. My father passed a few years ago and we did many things to honor him at the party- signature cocktail, my sister spoke about him in her speech, his two best friends gave a combined toast on his behalf, but what made me really feel my dad was celebrated and “there in spirit” was when Paul intentionally played my dad’s favorite song prior to the first speech. It almost felt like that was my dad’s speech/toast to us. Family and friends picked up on Paul’s placement of my dad’s favorite song and commented that they were moved by it too. It was the only point of the night I got emotional. Paul really cares about his work and the people he works with. I’ve been to a handful of weddings where DJs play the couple’s Do Not playlist and just treats every wedding the same. I seriously can’t recommend Paul more.”

“Stephanie, aka DJ Stardust, DJed our wedding in June of 2023. Neither of us are huge music people, so we were looking for a DJ who could run with minimal direction, and Stephanie was exactly that! She was very organized and communicative leading up to the wedding day. She had a great form that we filled out with all the details you could possibly imagine in terms of songs we wanted/didn’t want/when, and she executed exactly as we expected. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were in three different rooms/spaces, and Stephanie seamlessly moved through providing appropriate music (and emceeing) at each. The one special thing we asked her to do was coordinate a “photo dash” (where everyone sitting at each table comes up to the dance floor for a group photo within the time limit of one song), and she did it very well. She accidentally skipped a table at one point, but rather than making a big deal about it, she joked about it and everyone laughed. The photo dash was one of the most talked-about things after our wedding. Something unique that our venue offered was the chance for DJs to plug into a high-end speaker system they had installed for a small fee. We asked Stephanie to do this, and at first she was hesitant because she didn’t want to be using equipment she wasn’t familiar with day-of (understandably!). Of her own volition, she reached out to our venue and coordinated a time where she could go see the equipment and practice setting up to make sure it would work with her equipment and just generally feel it out. We really appreciated her going above and beyond in this way, and the day of the wedding went off with no issues at all.”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. We shared with him a playlist of some of our favorite songs, a list of "do not play" whether they were styles of music, artists or specific songs and a "must play" list. His online forum was easy to navigate and use. We loved the uplighting and the audio guestbook (phone)!! Also I appreciate that he read and followed through with all the small notes we left for him (specifically we asked for father/daughter, mother/son and first dance to end after the chorus and not play the entire 3-4 minutes). Such a great time. We received so many compliments on our music and the dance floor was busy all night long! He was always very responsive and quick to work with any last minute changes (we had a rainy day).”

“One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was choosing vendors who are great people with passion, care, and great energy. DJ Kevin is all of the above - the vibes were immaculate. My husband is a musician so music was one of the most important aspects of the wedding for him and DJ Kevin met his high standards. Leading up to the wedding, Kevin was informative, communicative, and has the type of personality that helps melt the stress away (and I couldn't have appreciated that more in the last week before the wedding!). He was also adaptable without judgement which is sometimes in short supply in the wedding industry but goes a long, long way in my book. For the wedding, we created playlists for the different sections of the wedding, and Kevin knew just how to make our vision come to life --playing the right songs at just the right time and helping the wedding flow seamlessly. He also helped curate the perfect mood for dancing with his light design, and his new Photo Booth add on gave our guests an endless source of enjoyment when they needed to catch their breath off the dance floor. (And even more enjoyment for us when we got to see all the pictures and gifs people took after the wedding!). And if all that wasn't enough already, he even volunteered to take pictures during our sparkler exit and captured one of my favorite pictures of the whole day! “DJ Pat was a pleasure to work with for our August 2025 wedding! He was extremely prepared throughout the entire day and made sure to provide extra microphones, as well as extras to the extras, in the event they were needed. We shared with Pat that my mother has a tremor and he provided us with mic stands for the speeches so that she would feel completely comfortable the entire time. He transitioned our ceremony music seamlessly and thoughtfully, and never failed to communicate with us throughout the day as the timeline changed. Inevitably, our timeline fell slightly behind, and Pat was flexible with his set to keep people dancing for the entirety of the shortened reception. He made sure all of our 'must-play' songs were played and ensured our 'do not play songs' were not. We loved his lighting setup and could not have asked for a better experience. He communicated with kindness to all of our other vendors, and we are so happy that we chose Rob Alberti Event Services for our wedding!”

“The Music Boutique was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, Scott was extremely helpful and responsive, and always providing us with great ideas, suggestions, and guidance to make our day special. We had a duo playing for our ceremony and during the cocktail hour and then we had a small 3 person band playing for our reception. And it was the perfect amount of people. We had spoken to some other bands and they all kept saying we need some big band for the reception, but since we were having less than 100 people at the wedding, we didn’t think it made sense to have like a 10 person band, it just seemed like it would overwhelm the whole wedding. And we knew we wanted a band component since my father plays guitar and I had a feeling would want to play a song at some point. Then we spoke with Scott, he seemed to understand our vision of having a small band. He loved the idea of my father playing a song, and made suggestions on when was the perfect time for him to play, and even laughed along with our idea of playing “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire, over and over again, since we were getting married on “the 21st night of September” (we did not do this)! The day of the band was amazing! They even took the time to learn our first dance song, which was a fairly unknown track, and played it beautifully, and surprised us with playing it. Since we thought it was just going to be a recorded version of the song. That was very special to us! And they were more than happy to let my dad play his song to us. Overall, the band's performance was lively and engaging, and they kept our guests dancing all night long. We couldn't have asked for a better band to help make our wedding celebration so memorable, and couldn’t have done it with Scott!”
