“Mario is the best. He is a true professional, has great knowledge and experience, and is overall a great person to work with. We especially appreciate Mario’s punctual communication and work ethic. He was always available, and we did tons of collaboration together. He was very focused on making our night how WE wanted it, but he was also able to effectively give us great advice along the way. We had about 5 Zoom conversations with him, and we were able to email or text him at any point. Watching Mario play around with song remixes and blending one song into another was impressive. Leading up to the wedding day, he was very organized. Keep in mind, on wedding day, your DJ is also an MC, a coordinator, a hype man, and a problem solver. Above all, Mario was the perfect guy for the job on wedding day. He provided the heart beat for an overall, beautiful and action-packed day. 100% worth every penny. His set up is sleek and high quality, and you can tell he aspires for that. No wires showing, perfect sound quality, a clean and modern looking DJ table. He also has a backup plan for everything including multiple ways to play music and back up speaker systems (which were not needed, but it is still thoughtful). Most importantly, Mario has a great attitude, and has the charisma needed for such a special occasion. Would recommend Mario to absolutely everyone.”

Super professional, but also incredibly fun, responsive, and genuinely cared about making our night unforgettable. And boy, did he deliver. Our reception? A TOTAL BANGER. Guests were dancing from the moment the floor opened until the very last song — and even then they were chanting “ONE MORE SONG!” (Spoiler: we got one more. Because they’re amazing like that.) We had guests from all ages — from our baby cousins to our grandparents — and somehow everyone was on the dance floor. “This band is "SO Amazing" We hired them for a conference in Hartford and they kept the dance floor full all night. We had a hard time finding that could cover genres from all different years, that would span the years of or attendees. The 4 vocalists in this band are insane, they can cover everything from Rock, Pop, Soul, Hip Hop, Motown to Jazz Standards. They delivered hit after hit and kept the dance floor packed all night, The horn section was amazing. The lead singers were on the dance floor with us, all night. It was so fun. However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

Our band, LPE Snapshot was incredible and our ceremony musicians were amazing too! The vocalists were high energy and kept the whole event moving. They were great Emcess and they even added some special non-traditional reception activities for us. They were super flexible and played all the songs we asked for- even some very “niche” tracks we asked for during the ceremony. So many of my guests said the band was their favorite part of the reception. I highly recommend LPE entertainment! (I am also a musician myself so I’m very picky!)”

“Alan C was easy and great to work with! We had a music range from Bad Bunny, Creed, The Killers and more! We shared with him a playlist of some of our favorite songs, a list of "do not play" whether they were styles of music, artists or specific songs and a "must play" list. His online forum was easy to navigate and use. We loved the uplighting and the audio guestbook (phone)!! Also I appreciate that he read and followed through with all the small notes we left for him (specifically we asked for father/daughter, mother/son and first dance to end after the chorus and not play the entire 3-4 minutes). Such a great time. We received so many compliments on our music and the dance floor was busy all night long! He was always very responsive and quick to work with any last minute changes (we had a rainy day).”
