He was the most amazing DJ for our wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens, and all of our friends and family have been saying so since we got married. Music is a huge part of the life my husband and I share, as I'm sure is the same for many engaged and married couples, so we really wanted to have a DJ that understood that. Well, DJ Carbon not only understood it, but he took great care to personalize the music for our wedding. One major thing that I think sets DJ Carbon apart from other vendors is his flexibility and adaptability. From our first conversation, he was so accommodating and easygoing, which made us feel at ease right away. When our actual wedding day came, he did a great job of going with the flow and adapting to any timeline hiccups/changes. And when it came to the music, he delivered! Between my husband and I and DJ Carbon, we all shared a love of Mac Miller, jazz, and oldies, which he incorporated beautifully into our wedding day. Not only that, but when the dancing portion of the evening began, he picked up on the vibes right away and played the tunes accordingly - so much so that even our catering staff was dancing! At the end of it all, I felt like DJ Carbon is so much more than a vendor. He's family. He took so much time, care, and effort to make our wedding day special and we will never forget it! “If I could give John and Trading Post Productions 10 stars, I would. I don't normally go on and on about how great people are, but this group absolutely deserves it. For our wedding, we booked DJ for the ceremony, live music for cocktail hour, and DJ for the reception. First, the live music trio (which we had a guitar, violin, and cello) absolutely nailed it! We chose several songs from their repertoire, but also requested a couple others that were personal to the bride and I, and they not only were accommodating, but they knocked it out of the park during their performance! Second, I could share all the little details about how John was prepared for every moment, but here's the big idea: he is experienced, he will do whatever it takes to get the job done, he is easy to work with, he knows how to read a room, and he is SO talented. So many guests (and even venue staff!) commented on how amazing our DJ was! And there were several times throughout the evening where every single guest was out on the dance floor! Even more than a DJ, John is kind and outgoing, and was so excited to help us celebrate our big day. One little detail I would like to share was during the bride and I's last dance before we departed. John put on the song we requested and then left the room, giving us total privacy in that moment. Though this seems like a little thing, it allowed the bride and I to focus entirely on each other without feeling like anybody was watching us. It is a moment that will no doubt stick with me for the rest of my life. I genuinely don't think a more well-rounded DJ exists. If you're on the fence about whether or not this group is worth it, allow me to be your sign that having John and Trading Post Productions at your wedding is the best choice you could make. “I can't say enough great things about Tarrah and Gordon! If you're looking for a coordinator, a DJ, or both, do yourself a favor and hire them. It is so important that your coordinator and DJ work together seamlessly to keep the day and night running smoothly, and they absolutely nailed it. Gordon is incredible! After just one conversation with him, we knew he was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He is upbeat, personable, and truly knows how to read a crowd. One of my biggest worries was that the dance floor would die down and people would start leaving early, but Gordon made sure that never happened. He paid close attention to the energy throughout the night, adjusting the music to keep everyone engaged. He started with songs the older crowd loved and then transitioned into more upbeat party music later in the evening, complete with fun lighting that completely transformed the atmosphere. We had a packed dance floor until the very end, exactly how I had always imagined it. Tarrah is an amazing coordinator. Even though we hired her as our "day-of" coordinator, she went above and beyond throughout the entire planning process. We booked her many months in advance, and she was always available to answer questions and offer guidance. Every single one of our vendors commented on how impressed they were with her organization, communication, and attention to detail. They all mentioned how well she kept everyone informed and provided detailed timelines and information, and we saw that firsthand with the incredibly organized planning documents she created for us. On the wedding day, Tarrah made everything feel effortless. She handled all of the setup, kept everything on schedule, checked in with me throughout the day, and somehow still found time to answer the billion questions from my mom and grandma! One of my favorite moments was when she had appetizers waiting for us while we signed our marriage license. I also have dietary restrictions, and she even made sure I had my own special dinner. Those little touches meant so much and showed how much she genuinely cares about her couples. I truly cannot thank Tarrah and Gordon enough for making our wedding day so smooth, stress-free, and special. They helped bring my dream wedding to life, and I wouldn't change a thing. If you're looking for a coordinator, a DJ, or both, you will not be disappointed. They are worth every penny, and I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding.”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “We hired Justin and Lesley for their DJ services, photobooth and wedding coordination for my 8/15 wedding at Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park. If I could give them 100/5 stars I would. Justin CRUSHED it as the DJ. He’s not one of the DJs that simply clicks next. He’s actively mixing and reading the room to understand how he can keep the energy going. I had multiple guests tell me that they were so so so impressed with his DJing skills. He kept us on our toes and the dance floor packed ALL night. We got the photobooth package with the glam filter and it was packed all night long! Our guests loved it and the line always kept moving quickly. They even provided a book where they put a copy of every photo so that we could flip through them post-wedding. We had some HILARIOUS photos because of the unique and fun props they have so it was nice to have an immediate keepsake. They also sent us a folder with the digital files of all the photos taken at the photobooth. Lastly, Lesley was my saving grace. My original planner canceled just one week before our wedding day. Since we already had Justin booked as our DJ, I immediately texted them and asked if we could use their coordination services as well. They jumped in without hesitation and saved the day. Their attention to detail ensured that the day ran super smoothly. The room was set up beautifully and i was able to feel like a guest at my own wedding versus feeling like I had to project manage the day. They even packed up my car at the need of the night! I appreciated how I felt like Lesley would just take initiative. She’d see that something needs to get done and would do it flawlessly without hesitation versus needing any handholding or direction from me. They truly created the most stress free experience for me and my now husband. I highly recommend you hire this team for your event. You won’t regret it!”

“Kevin was recommended to us through our wedding planner. Once we booked him, we were provided with a document where we could suggest songs for each portion of the evening. “Matt was extremely helpful with every aspect of the evening. He was such a good MC/DJ. We had rented a neon sign and backdrop from our venue and he spent an hour adjusting his photo booth camera to make sure it would pick up the sign. This photo isn't from his camera, it's form the photographer's, but I wanted to show the backdrop! We also extended him 30 minutes when we decided the party wasn't over yet and he whole heartedly agreed. I would definitely pick him again if I had another event in Estes Park!”
