“We are an older couple, and this was a second marriage for both of us, so I am not sure most people would understand the amount of time and effort we spent to find the perfect DJ for our wedding. We are a blended family with 8 adult children, and 5 grandchildren. We were both young parents, so our kids are early 20's, and we have extended family into their 80's - we are literally talking decades of music tastes to cater to. We are both avid music lovers, so having someone that could work with us to help set the perfect tone for our day was vitally important. We started looking for our vendors 2 years ahead of time and when I say we literally vetted over 50 DJs to find the perfect one, it is not a stretch of the truth. What first drew us to DJ Johnny was his videos. We were looking for a DJ that was fun and outgoing, someone to interact with the guests, but not be overbearing. We had been to plenty of weddings where the DJs barely interacted with the guests, and others where you felt like you were in a club and the show was all about the DJ and not the couple. Neither of these were the vibe we were looking for. What we wanted was someone who was experienced, loved their job and knew how to read the room to keep the party going. DJ Johnny's videos seemed to show just that, so we scheduled a call with him. After talking to him, we were fairly certain we had found our guy, but did our due diligence with our other DJ choices as well. We kept coming back to Johnny, because of his personality. He was confident in his skills, but he was in no way arrogant or overbearing. Just very down to Earth and fun loving - a guy who seemed to be fortunate enough to be able to do what he loved and bring other people joy at the same time. After a second call, where Johnny was able to answer some potential concerns, we knew we had our DJ. Johnny is amazing with answering any emails and addressing any questions or concerns. He was able to cater to the music and any announcements we needed. We have family with some very hard to pronounce names, and he made notes to make sure he pronounced everyone's names perfectly (bride's included). He performed for both our ceremony and reception, and the amount of compliments from guests about the music were too numerous to count. There was hardly a moment where the dance floor was empty, he kept the music flowing, the energy high, the guests engaged and just the entire night was fantastic. I can honestly say that our wedding could not have been as flawless as it was without the help of DJ Johhny. Words alone cannot express our gratitude with DJ Johnny and the integral part he played in making our day both memorable and absolutely perfect. If we ever have the need for a DJ again in the future, DJ Johnny will most certainly be our guy!”

“We loved everything about EMG for our July 2025 wedding. The process of meeting and setting up a contract was easy and efficient. It was a completely tailored experience and did not feel rushed or pushed at all. He gave great recommendations and really understood what our vibe was for 115 guests. We went with an acoustic guitar player for ceremony, electric guitar cocktail hour and reception along with a DJ (Josuel lead) for the reception. We also had the photo station Photo Booth which was perfect for the setting. However our biggest compliments go to Josuel who was our lead DJ. He was organized, prepared and had an excellent presence and composure. He even sorted our last minute changes with the venues matre de because we and guests were taking too long at cocktail hour.. he figured out little changes so I didn’t have to! Above and beyond. Also he had everyone and I mean everyone dancing the whole night to a blend of 80s rock, 90s pop 2000s alt.. it was just perfect. Cannot say thank you enough to him and the whole EMG group.”

“All I can say is WOW!!!!! For starters, working with EBE was so easy. From my first call with Mike, I knew we were in good hands. He gave us all the info and answered any questions we had. Before I get to the band, we also had a photo booth through EBE and I am so happy we decided to add it. Our guests loved it!! PLUS the attendant made an awesome album of all of the pictures with notes from our guests!! That was such a special thing to have to look through the next morning. And the attendant couldn’t have been any sweeter!! Now for the band…. We chose RIO and it was the best decision we made. Jonathan, the bandleader, was so kind and easy to work with. We emailed back and forth about what we’d like for the wedding and filled out a sheet that kinda organized all our thoughts. When we met with Jonathan we left the call and were like we are going to have the best wedding ever. He said “we’re going to knock the paint off the walls” and he did not disappoint!!!!! Rio was ELECTRIC. For one they are so so talented!! We had multiple guests say they performed songs better than the artist and we do not disagree!!! They had EVERYONE on the dance floor all night long - all different ages. And that is exactly what we wanted for our wedding. My husband and I love to dance and just love everyone being together and having a good time. You could feel the love and happiness in the room all night long and that is in large part because of Rio. The band members even came out and got on the dance floor at points and we LOVED it. They played hit after hit, fed off the crowd and perfectly fit the vibe we wanted. the next morning, the venue coordinator told us in her 15 years there, she’s never seen the dance floor that packed the entire night. She said usually there’s a lull but it never happened. And that’s all because of Rio!!! Jonathan helped us create a timeline for the night as well and it was perfect. It never felt like people were sitting at their tables for too long, which is something we really wanted to avoid. Everyone just had so much fun. We are STILL getting texts from our friends and family saying they wish they could party with Rio again. Everyone said it was the best wedding band they’ve ever experienced and my husband and I couldn’t agree more. Thank you Jonathan, EBE, and Rio for everything!!!!!”

“The communication with Prime 1 Productions could have been better leading up to the wedding. While they did a decent job overall with the music and entertainment, they could have done a better job reading the vibe of the room and playing more of a variety of songs that got everyone dancing. The person I booked with was not the one who actually came to our wedding, which was a bit of a surprise. However, the DJ who did come was very nice and tried his best, even though he messed up the intro to our first dance a bit. Overall, Prime 1 Productions provided a serviceable performance, but I wish they had been a bit more in tune with the energy and preferences of our guests.”

One of the most important things to us was having vendors that we felt we could connect with and who understood the vibe we wanted for the day. As soon as we reached out to Maggie we knew that she would be an amazing fit. She was thorough in her emails, and incredibly responsive- I never had to follow up with her or wait on her to answer questions. She was also so kind in her emails, and we could tell how much she loves her job. On the wedding day, we had a few curveballs thrown at us due to weather, and Maggie was super flexible as our coordinator worked out the details. A really sweet touch that I loved was that she came over to check on me and my husband during cocktail hour and dinner to make sure we were doing well and to see if we needed anything. She also fully understood the vibe we were going for based on our must play/do not play lists, and chose the perfect songs all night (even an unprompted "Season of Love" during dinner that had me and my friends out of our seats singing on the dance floor lol). She brought so much energy to the room, and was a perfect emcee- not too overbearing, but fun and lively all night long. We had such a blast, and we truly cannot recommend hiring Maggie enough. She will do everything she can to make sure you have a perfect night!”

“Ryan is truly the jack of all trades, the absolute kindest human being, and incredibly professional. We are SO glad he was a (major!) part of our wedding day! He was super communicative when we had questions, helped give us some advice, and *!!!even learned a new song just for us!!!* We had just attended a friends wedding and the music was super unrelatable to my fiance (husband now lol) and our friends. We were bummed and worried - hopeful that ours would be fun and get people out there! Ryan was AMAZING.
