We are a diverse and energetic group of entertainers, each with a unique flair for fun! The Party Express DJs, LLC is a wedding DJ company based in Blandon, Pennsylvania just outside Reading. We pride ourselves on not being your cookie cutter wedding DJ through personalized service and dedication to your special day. Combining your wedding vision with years of experience, we will create a wedding that you and your guests remember for a lifetime.

I truly care about every event I do. It's not about me being cool and hip. It's about YOU and how my skill set can take your special event to a new level. Some of my favorite parts of DJing are bringing people together and the thrill of the live show. That energy is addictive and only makes you better. I also love seeing the smile on our customers faces after your wedding reception or special event after we exceed your expectations. Aside from the bride hug, nothing really beats that.

Sean was great. He was thorough in the process and did exactly what we wanted. We wanted a very minimal presence and he was able to see our vision, play what we wanted and just made the day really fun and really smooth.

When I set out planning my wedding there was 0 doubt in my mind I wanted Sean Shipper and the Party Express DJs to be my disc jockey and MC for the night. Working with Sean prior to the wedding day is easy. I wasn’t over sold products or capabilities. He made suggestions he knew would work in my venue and even persuaded me to leave some options out because he knew additional lighting just wouldn’t work at my venue and time of the year I was getting married. We had a consultation where we discussed the wedding planner and he sent us an email the next day with things we may want to take a second look at or items we missed in the planner. The day of the wedding Sean arrived early greeted me and went right to work setting up. He was done in plenty of time for my ceremony and helped keep us on time. I originally told him I don’t think anyone will dance, and i made sure to give him plenty of space to choose songs he thought may work by reading the crowd. That decision to let him do his job without my hand cuffing him made a huge difference. People danced all night long to his music choices. When I went to tip him at the end of the night he tried to decline fat chance of that happening Sean… he earned every cent of his tip. My wife and I talked there’s a reason we choose Sean and our other vendors for our day. Professional vendors charging professional rates took care of any issues that may have happened without us knowing. Our entire day ran smoothly with no issues, why because of professionals like Sean. We can thank you enough Sean.

Stokesay Castle loves The Party Express DJs! DJ Sean is really easy to work with, and Stokesay has been working with him for years. He MCs our bridal show every year too. He is so helpful and very flexible. He works with us the most, and we would not have it any other way! He is the perfect addition to your wedding. If you want a fun, great party atmosphere at your event, The Party Express DJs is the way to go.

My husband and I got married on 9/21/19 and used The Party Express DJ’s for our entertainment. Upon my first phone call to Sean I felt like I had made a great decision. He is attentive to everything you want/need, and so very detailed with every part of the night. You can tell he’s been doing this for a while! The fact that he meets with you face to face before the big day to make sure everything is clear- it’s beyond amazing. The day of they were basically the coordinator as he ensured that all my vendors were on schedule. They kept the day moving along beautifully, kept the crowd entertained and lively, and created a wonderful ambiance with the lighting they provided. Truly one of the best investments for your big day. The Party Express DJ’s are worth EVERY PENNY.

The minimum attire for us is shirt and tie for your reception. Today, destination weddings are becoming very popular. Some couples have chosen to have us attired to the theme. In that case, we will do our best to fit your mood.

Yes, our music library is updated weekly

That is up to you. We encourage this since the reception is a party for everyone; however, we respect your wishes if you do not want to honor guest requests. Should you choose to have requests, we will not play what we deem as “selfish requests.” These are requests that totally go against what we planned for and are typically not wedding friendly or controversial. Typical requests in this category are hard rap and death metal. While we do have these genres in our library, it is rare that we play them at weddings.

Yes, we can provide music and a wireless microphone for your ceremony. We can help you choose pre-ceremony music for when your guests arrive as well as songs for your bridal party entrance, bride entrance, unity candle lighting or special ceremony and recessional. We even use compact Bose brand sound systems specifically made for the purpose

Yes, we are a licensed, registered and insured LLC to standard commercial limits and can perform at any venue and are covered for multiple events per day. We can email your venue proof ahead of time.

Approximately 1 hour before the contracted start time for a basic package. Larger sound and lighting packages take longer to setup.

Yes. We provide Uplighting, Cake Spotlighting, Truss Totem Dance Lighting, and Custom Monogram. We have photobooths provided through Ismilepod

No break down fee. Travel would depend on distance

There is only sales tax on the photobooth.

Fun and very organized. I like to be energetic but not overbearing. I do not want to steal show as it's your special day.
