Q: What do you wear?

The minimum attire for us is shirt and tie for your reception. Today, destination weddings are becoming very popular. Some couples have chosen to have us attired to the theme. In that case, we will do our best to fit your mood.

Q: Do you learn new songs?

Yes, our music library is updated weekly

Q: Do you take music requests?

That is up to you. We encourage this since the reception is a party for everyone; however, we respect your wishes if you do not want to honor guest requests. Should you choose to have requests, we will not play what we deem as “selfish requests.” These are requests that totally go against what we planned for and are typically not wedding friendly or controversial. Typical requests in this category are hard rap and death metal. While we do have these genres in our library, it is rare that we play them at weddings.

Q: Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Yes, we can provide music and a wireless microphone for your ceremony. We can help you choose pre-ceremony music for when your guests arrive as well as songs for your bridal party entrance, bride entrance, unity candle lighting or special ceremony and recessional. We even use compact Bose brand sound systems specifically made for the purpose

Q: Are you fully insured?

Yes, we are a licensed, registered and insured LLC to standard commercial limits and can perform at any venue and are covered for multiple events per day. We can email your venue proof ahead of time.

Q: How early do you come to set up?

Approximately 1 hour before the contracted start time for a basic package. Larger sound and lighting packages take longer to setup.

Q: Do you provide other services, such as lighting or photo booths?

Yes. We provide Uplighting, Cake Spotlighting, Truss Totem Dance Lighting, and Custom Monogram. We have photobooths provided through Ismilepod

Q: What is your travel and break down fee?

No break down fee. Travel would depend on distance

Q: What are your sales taxes?

There is only sales tax on the photobooth.

Q: What is your style?

Fun and very organized. I like to be energetic but not overbearing. I do not want to steal show as it's your special day.

We are a diverse and energetic group of entertainers, each with a unique flair for fun! The Party Express DJs, LLC is a wedding DJ company based in Blandon, Pennsylvania just outside Reading. We pride ourselves on not being your cookie cutter wedding DJ through personalized service and dedication to your special day. Combining your wedding vision with years of experience, we will create a wedding that you and your guests remember for a lifetime.

I truly care about every event I do. It's not about me being cool and hip. It's about YOU and how my skill set can take your special event to a new level. Some of my favorite parts of DJing are bringing people together and the thrill of the live show. That energy is addictive and only makes you better. I also love seeing the smile on our customers faces after your wedding reception or special event after we exceed your expectations. Aside from the bride hug, nothing really beats that.

We hired Sean for our wedding and him and Alex were absolutely incredible! From start to finish, they knew exactly how to set the tone and keep the energy going. They seamlessly incorporated all of our favorite genres and created the perfect mix that had almost every guest out on the dance floor all night. They were professional, organized, and truly listened to what we wanted (which was a mix of everything and to dance all night). You can tell they love what they do, mixing music to fit each vibe and prioritizing the couple’s special day. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for DJs who can read the room, elevate the vibe, and make your event feel magical. We also purchased uplighting which added the perfect ambiance, elegant during first dances and dinner, then vibrant once the party started. The Party Express DJs were wonderful to work with for our wedding. From our first conversation, Sean was prompt in responding to our questions and receptive to our music preferences. On the day of the wedding, his passion for what he does was evident as he kept the party alive with a great mix of the songs we requested and other upbeat tunes that got everyone dancing. Sean did a fantastic job. When meeting with him, he ask us questions that we didn't even think of to help our wedding run smoothly. His communication was excellent, and got back to us on a timely manner. The weather had other plans, so we had to change some things around, and he did not skip a beat. If we would ever need a Dj for anything, I would definitely use this company again.

I could not have asked for a better DJ on my wedding day. Noah was so involved that I had absolutely no worries/doubts leading up to my wedding day. He was kind, funny, and could really tell he loves doing what he does. That made it so much more special. Special shout out to Sean as well for working so hard for me! All my favorite songs were played and the transitions were great! Everything was handled so there was absolutely no worries the day of. I can’t thank you all enough!
