Christies of Genesee is located in the scenic Genesee area just off I-70 at 7600 feet in elevation. We have a beautiful garden and patio area complete with a waterfall and bridge spanning our pond. The view is spectacular and the inside dinning and dance area is surrounded by windows. we are an inclusive venue that will provide just about everything you will need on your special day. If you prefer to host your event outside, our outdoor facilities can comfortably fit over 500 people and we have tents available. We have the audio/visual equipment you require for presentations and table and chair arrangements suited for all types of occasions. We even have a 500 square foot dance floor in our newly renovated hall. At The Franciscan, we also have a wonderful and delicious onsite catering service, That Personal Touch Catering, that will handle all of your food and beverage needs.

Built-in the late 1800’s Morningside Manor is one of Arvada’s most historic sites. The Victorian house and lush grounds are ideal for weddings, receptions, and special events. The house contains a parlor, grand room, bride’s room, an atrium with a dance floor. The grounds surrounding the manor feature gardens, mature trees, and gazebos.

Cherokee Ranch & Castle features breathtaking views of the Rockies, 3,400 acres of unspoiled land and wildlife sanctuary, and a 1450s Scottish-style Castle with exquisite collections of art and antiques.
