Tivoli Student Union is a historically beautiful and unique building on the Auraria Campus. Built in 1870 by German-born Mortz Sigi, the Tivoli was originally part of the Colorado Brewery. In 1901 is became the Tivoli Union Brewery, named after the famous amusement park in Copenhagen. The Tivoli houses a variety of spaces that can accommodate groups both small and large for business meetings, training sessions, lectures, conferences, and a variety of social gatherings, from intimate celebrations to weddings. The Denver Athletic Club is a private membership owned club that was established in Denver in 1884. The DAC moved to it’s current location in 1892 and has expanded in the years since to now occupy the entire city block. Built in 1911, the D&F Tower was the tallest structure west of the Mississippi, at a height of 393 feet. In the 1960’s after financial ruin the building was set to be demolished. In the early 1970’s, Denver was able to save the actual clock tower from being destroyed. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it lights up the Denver skyline and remains a defining building for downtown. Now, the top five floors of this beloved structure are available for smaller, private events through Clock Tower Events. Located 20 floors up in Downtown Denver, the recently renovated space features décor that’s elegant & modern, breathtaking panoramic views of the skyline & surrounding mountain ranges from two balconies & offers guests the opportunity to see behind the mysterious clock faces.
