Christies of Genesee is located in the scenic Genesee area just off I-70 at 7600 feet in elevation. We have a beautiful garden and patio area complete with a waterfall and bridge spanning our pond. The view is spectacular and the inside dinning and dance area is surrounded by windows. we are an inclusive venue that will provide just about everything you will need on your special day. Sweet Freedom Farm is an 18 acre mountain sanctuary where both people and animals come to experience the peace and beauty in our little slice of heaven. We're located on a historic stagecoach stop, so there's the feeling of old west history. All of the animals on site are rescues, and we often get wildlife walking through as well. If you want the true Colorado beauty that is only 10 minutes from lodging in Black Hawk, and 25 minutes from Golden, Sweet Freedom Farm is meant for you! Sweet Freedom Farm offers Ceremony Only packages at this time. We have great partnerships with a few local reception venues, allowing you to have the best of both worlds. Cherokee Ranch & Castle features breathtaking views of the Rockies, 3,400 acres of unspoiled land and wildlife sanctuary, and a 1450s Scottish-style Castle with exquisite collections of art and antiques. The pristine property, historic venue and dedicated staff will make your event an enchanting experience, leaving you and your guests with enduring memories. The maximum capacity inside the Castle is 75 guests. During certain months of the year, our Veranda Tent is available and can accomodate up to 150 guests.
