Welcome to Land O' Goshen Farm Event Center! A spacious 6700 sq. ft. under the roof, 8300 sq. ft. w the deck. Located on the historic 375 acre Belknap Farm in Goshen, Kentucky; the farm has been in the family for over a century. Inside is a polished concrete floor in the main hall, men/women's restroom, and bridal room, ten 10' x 4' giant slab and live edge tables, two 12' x 4' Banquet tables, 100 Black resin wood chairs, 6' rolling maple bar, and Wi-Fi/cable included w two flat screens. A White Birch wedding arch is also provided. Inside capacity of 200, restrooms were built for 400. There are four 60" windmill fans located in the main hall lower section to keep everyone cool. HVAC services provided to the five enclosed rooms: bridal/groom, men/women restroom and Prep Room. Handicap parking out front, 60 car parking lot close by. The Gatewood is the most stunning venue I've ever been to! We had our wedding ceremony and reception there, and it was absolutely perfect! The building is so unique and gorgeous! Matt was so nice when we toured and kept in contact throughout the upcoming months to our wedding. Claudia is just amazing! She helped us plan the day and guided us during our rehearsal. She was there on our big day and kept everything running smoothly, plus our son just loved her! She really went above and beyond to make our day special and we are forever thankful. Our wedding was December 12, 2020, right in the middle of COVID curveballs. Two weeks out we had to slash our guest list to 25 people and leave our original venue when they couldn’t adapt. Belknap Event Center stepped in and instantly calmed the chaos. The space in Prospect, KY is gorgeous; warm wood cozy lighting, and flexible enough to feel personal even when you scale way down. We used just part of the venue footprint and it never felt empty or awkward. What really sold us: support. Glenn & the Belknap staff helped rework the layout for a smaller group, handled setup and teardown, and made sure we had a real, well-presented meal (not the sandwich pricing drama we’d been facing elsewhere). Every interaction was kind, practical, and focused on making the day feel like us, not “Plan B.” Our guests still talk about how much they loved our wedding and great the celebration was. If you want a venue that’s both beautiful and genuinely flexible, book Belknap. 10/10

We enjoyed working with the Calumet Club for our May 2026 wedding! I'd been to a wedding here years ago and assumed it was out of our price range – but after crunching numbers for other local venues (everything from church gyms to other fancy event venues in Lou), we decided the All Inclusive package was the best bang for our buck. It was shockingly similar to what we would have paid for turn a simple event hall into a formal wedding reception by the time you looked at rental, catering, bartending, alcohol, and decorating costs. With the bonus of only having to sign one contract! Some things to note: - you won't get access until 10am day-of. That's probably fine for most people, but since our ceremony was at a local church mid-afternoon, we had to start getting ready wayyyy earlier than than 10am. So we didn't use the bridal suites (which are beautiful) and they did give us a little bit of a discount for that - They have some simple centerpieces that are available free of charge. But even better, you can pay 100 for hurricane vase floating candle centerpieces – which they will set up and tear down for you. Since we DIY'd the decorating, that was a huuuuuge help! - the All Inclusive menu with Stumler's Catering is *not* the same as what Stumler's provided at the tasting event. Maybe we should have known that, but it was disappointing to get to our 2 week meeting and find out that half the foods we wanted were not included in the "All Inclusive" package. They gave us the correct list at the beginning, but we didn't pull that back out and went off the tasting menu when it was time to choose our foods :/ it ended up fine, everything that Stumler's makes is delicious, but just be aware of that difference - The included DJ is Harold Mahan Productions. We met Harold at a wedding 2 months before ours and he was fantastic! He wasn't the one to do our wedding, but had somebody from his team there. Tommy reached out to us the week of to run through our schedule and make sure we were on the same page. He did a great job throughout the night, and I've only heard good things about their whole team. - Bartending is also included. Can't give much of a review for that because somebody else (stumler's, dj, MOH, etc.) were always offering to get my drinks for me. Seems like everything was good with them though, and it was nice to not have to find our own. Overall, would definitely recommend! If you want a formal venue without an outrageous price tag, multiple contracts, or a lot of decorating work, this is the place to go!

This venue was everything I dreamed of! It held our small, intimate winter wedding with plenty of room. Everyone loved exploring the three floors and my kids loved playing hide and seek throughout. Pictures were absolutely wonderful and Bill was the BEST host. His communication was spot on and he made everything seem so smooth instead of stressful like a normal wedding would be. I felt at home and it was warm and welcoming. This venue is definitely a treasure find in Shelbyville and it doesn't break the bank. I WILL be coming back for future endeavors. Waterfront Botanical Gardens’ space is serene and elevated, both indoors and out. The care and attention to the plants is clear, and the glass architecture of the primary event venue visually transports indoor guests, to the outdoors. The indoor space is large enough for a beautiful seated dinner and buffet, and the plazas allow the party to overflow into the Gardens. The staff give great attention to details during the planning process and are present during the event. The downtown Louisville skyline and bridges are visible from the plaza, and the garden photo ops cannot be beat. The Gardens are easily accessible from I-71 and I-64, with close proximity to downtown, NuLu, and Southern Indiana.

We hosted our wedding reception here and LOVED it. The space is beautiful on its own and does not need a lot of decorations. It was nice and easy having the alcohol provided by West Sixth (just had to meet a bar minimum, which we did easily with 80 some guests). I also liked that we were able to bring our own food in, which was provided by a local restaurant. Staff is friendly and communication was easy aside from an email glitch. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t change anything!

Getting married at the Palace was a dream for me and my husband, but we honestly didn’t even know weddings there were a thing since it’s primarily known as a concert venue. I took a chance and called, and got a response from Sydney the very next day. We instantly hit it off, and from that first conversation I knew it was going to be our venue! Even with it being our dream venue from the start, it somehow still exceeded our expectations on the actual wedding day. The space itself is incredibly unique and beautiful. If you’re looking for a venue with rich history, ornate architecture, and a dramatic, unforgettable atmosphere, this is absolutely the place. Our guests are still talking about how cool the venue was and how unlike any other wedding venue they had been to before. We held our ceremony in the theatre and our reception in the Faces Lobby, and both spaces were surreal. The venue gave our wedding so much character without needing excessive decoration or stress on our end. The place practically comes decorated already. What made the experience exceptional, though, was the staff, especially Sydney. She went above and beyond throughout the planning process and on the wedding day itself. She was organized, responsive, calming, and genuinely cared about making the day feel personal and stress free for us. Having someone attentive and caring coordinating things behind the scenes made such a difference, especially during moments that could have otherwise felt overwhelming. One of the biggest things we appreciated was how smoothly everything worked with our vendors. Communication and coordination between the venue and vendors felt incredibly organized, which removed so much stress from the process and made the day feel effortless for us. Honestly, we loved it so much we’re already considering doing a vow renewal there someday, haha. We feel incredibly lucky that we were able to get married here, and I would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a venue that is not only beautiful and unique, but also professionally run by people who care!
