Included on the property is a beautifully restored historic cabin. Mount Liberty Farms is just 15 minutes from Columbus, Indiana and 10 minutes from the town of Nashville. Our Barn is perfect for intimate weddings and events with 50-100 guests. Or fill the barn to the max with up to 130+ guests. Tables, chairs and our decor are included in every wedding package. We like to think of our farm as an escape from it all and a place to connect, unwind and gather with those you love the most. At Mount Liberty Farms, we believe in community.     Perfect!

    The Barn at Mount Liberty exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The team was responsive and thorough throughout the planning process, and they adapted to our needs without hesitation. The venue itself has a beautiful, private feel that made our wedding day feel intimate and special. Having access to the cabin as well as the entire property for the weekend was an incredible addition that really elevated the whole experience. We would absolutely recommend The Barn at Mount Liberty to any couple looking for a stunning venue with a team that truly cares.

    2025 Wedding

    The Barn at Mount Liberty was the perfect venue for us! The property is so beautiful, and it was amazing to get to stay for the wedding weekend with part of the bridal party in the cabin. We enjoyed being able to set up the day before the wedding at our own pace and get ready so close to the venue. This venue is perfect for any DIY weddings. It was easy to communicate with them, and we were able to tour the venue twice, once when booking and once to help with planning, which was super helpful! They were very accommodating throughout the process as well. The Barn itself is in a great location between Nashville and Columbus, Indiana, with many different types of lodging options and Brown County State Park nearby. This is an amazing venue highlighting the beauty, nature, and scenery that Indiana has to offer!

    Dream Come True

    We cannot say enough amazing things about The Barn at Mount Liberty. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The setting was breathtaking and created the most magical backdrop for our wedding day. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and we truly felt so cared for throughout the entire process. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the space was and how seamless the whole day felt. Choosing this Venue was easily one of the best decisions we made—we will cherish the memories made here forever.

Yes! If you would like to serve beer, wine, champagne, wine alternatives, and malt based beverages, you can either hire a catering service that maintains the state required two or three way license, or you can obtain a temporary beer and wine permit and hire a licensed bartender to serve the alcohol. If you would like to serve liquor, you will be required to hire a catering company that holds a three way liquor license.
We do require our clients to purchase general liability insurance. We will give you a contact for this.
Yes! It is your special date and we encourage you to decorate the event barn and outdoor areas in a manner that reflects your style and personality. You can also use decor from our decor barn. Our inventory of unique decor features great pieces to incorporate at your ceremony, cocktail hour or reception.
You have access to the entire property for the weekend which includes barn access Friday starting at 1pm (access to the cabin starting at 4pm) until Sunday at 11am. We can also accommodate Friday, Sunday or weekday weddings, just ask!
The Barn can hold up to 130 guests seated inside. For larger weddings, accessory tents may be rented from outside vendors to provide more occupancy.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We have a ramp on the side of the barn and an ADA accessible restroom inside the barn.
