Terrible customer service

The venue is beautiful but bride beware! Chris, the owner/manager is a little creepy in person. Not sure how to explain it but you’ll see upon first meet like I did I’m sure. And on the phone he’s arrogant and rude. He called to change our entire event less than 48 hours before the big day! Offered no apology about it, just said this is how it’s done and gave us no choice but to adhere to the new plan. Giving excuses as to how other venues do the same thing. Who cares about that?! The location was booked in April, he had plenty of time to let us know he was planning renovations before giving us notice. He even spoke to the bride 3 days before the event and never mentioned it. But then suddenly 2 days before it’s being renovated and unavailable. My poor niece the bride whose parents have both died had no one to help her pay or plan and I feel Chris took full advantage of that. Forcing her to use their “top notch” vendors instead of allowing her to find cheaper vendors only to find out that these vendors aren’t professionals at all but family members. When we tried to complain and ask for measurements for the new location he made excuses and eventually hung up on me! Brides, you deserve better, find another venue. I don’t want any other couple to be treated so unprofessionally and with such disregard.
