Our Approach: We are Mia & Chris Courtney. The people behind the camera. We are a husband and wife team based out of Indianapolis, Indiana, where we service The Midwest and beyond. We are experience based photographers who focus on creating; authentic connections, intimate, warm & emotional photographs. A little more about us, We eloped on June 5th, 2019 after dating for 1 year. We camped at the Red River Gorge for 3 days in the pouring rain for our honeymoon. It was not typical but it was us. We love camping and exploring new places. We are a total go with the flow type people. We both love Concerts, Tattoos, and adventuring!

We cannot say enough amazing things about Mia and Chris. From the first time we spoke before our engagement session, we knew we hit the photographer jackpot. They both made us feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera, and captured us as our most authentic selves during both our engagement session and our wedding. They treated each and every member of our wedding party and family like their own, and were SO incredibly fun to hang out with. The art that Mia and Chris create is stunning and their work speaks for itself. We’ve looked back on our photos so many times, and are immediately transported back to our wedding day. The way they’re able to capture each moment is so special. On top of everything, their turnaround times are wildly impressive - we had our full wedding gallery back within 2 weeks! We couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with!

We were absolutely thrilled with our experience with Curious Courtneys Photographer! Mia and Chris were an absolute delight to work with during our spring elopement ceremony. From the moment we met them, their warmth and professionalism shone through, making us feel at ease and genuinely cared for. Their creativity and attention to detail captured every special moment PERFECTLY, resulting in stunning photos that we will cherish forever. It was also really unique to have take home polaroids, film, and their turnaround time was unmatched in delivering our beautiful pictures. Their friendly and accommodating nature made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better team to document our special day. If you close your eyes and think of your wedding day-- what do you see? Grandma smiling as she hands you her pearls to wear for the day. Your mom helping you into your dress, as a tear rolls down her face. Your fiance beaming as you walk down the aisle. Your dad kissing your cheek as he gives you away. The best man pats your fiance's back while your maid of honor fixes your gown. Your guests roaring as you're pronounced married! All of those smiles, tears, and cheering-- Curious Courtney captured it all-- plus some. They snapped a shot of your perfume as you spritzed it so every time you see that photo it's as if you can smell it. You can practically taste your cake again as you look at the photos of you smashing the cake into your significant other's face. Mia and Chris capture more than just a moment-- they capture the atmosphere, the emotion, and make you feel like you're reliving the whole day every time you look at your photos.
