JustJess Photography is focused on creating ethereal, cinematic moody photographs capturing the genuine moments between her couples. Client connection is super important in the process of planning your wedding and connecting with your photographer. Jess makes sure to get to know her clients before meeting on your wedding day, making the experience unforgettable.

Jess has a unique approach to photographing her couples. By getting to know each of her couples closely she is able to portray their relationship and personality into their photos. Unlike stiff posed photos, Jess will have you interacting with each other. Capturing the genuine moments between posing, always having a helping hand in the process.

    JUST BOOK JESS!!!

    Jess was absolutely incredible to work with for our bridal portraits. From the inquiry process to the delivery of our photos, the process was seamless. She responded to my message quickly and enthusiastically and I could tell she was genuinely excited to help bring our vision to life. She also helped us plan and brainstorm for our session. Being in front of the camera can be a little nerve wracking for my husband and me but Jess gave us really clear and helpful guidance that put us at ease. If you look at her work, it’s clear that she has an incredible eye for composition and what she delivered to us definitely matched what I had seen and more. The photos we received back are so unique and a little unconventional but still felt very“us”. I know that we are just one of many clients Jess has and our project was on the smaller side but it did not feel that way at all with how much care, thoughtfulness and effort she put into the process. I’d highly recommend Jess to anyone looking unique yet stunning photos—in other words JUST BOOK JESS. DO IT.

    Jess is the real deal!

    I played harp at a wedding that Jess photographed, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. The couple was thrilled with her work, and she even sent some photos of me as I was playing the prelude music. I love the pictures I got back! Thank you Jess!

    If you are looking for the absolute best photographer in Indianapolis, then look no further. Jess brings such a unique perspective and approach to her craft - one that is unlike the typical (boring) wedding/engagement photos you see pop up. She captured EVERY special moment throughout the day and night. We knew the photos would come out amazing based on what we’ve seen from her catalog, but nothing could have prepared my wife and I for what was presented as the final product….Mind-blowing! Jess will make your special moment timeless!

    If you are looking to capture a vibe...hire Jess!!

    Jess is an absolute QUEEN! I had a very particular vision and look for my wedding and I really wanted this swanky/moody photography vibe for NYE. Jess absolutely nailed it beyond my expectations. She was able to get amazing shots - each one was stunning. Her attention to detail and eye for photography are unmatched. She was so sweet, communicative and easy to work with. I could tell she takes so much pride in her work and truly cares about getting the perfect shots. Could not recommend her enough. People's jaws were on the floor when they saw how the photos turned out...they were so creative and cool and unique...not your typical bright wedding photos (not knocking on that style). I wanted a vibe and she certainly delivered. I mean some of the photos could legit be in a magazine...not kidding.

    Vibrant, romantic, & moody

    I had the pleasure to work with Jess for my engagement session and wedding in 2021! I think the best way for me to share exactly how I felt about Jess’ work is to share the text I sent her when I got the first look at my wedding gallery & slideshow. “My face hurts from smiling so hard during my slideshow! I am so so happy!!!! I was afraid I would regret not getting a videographer, but the awesome slideshow totally took its place and I am so happy with it! The photos turned out beautifully, so vibrant but also romantic and moody! Thank you so much for capturing the most important day of our lives (so far!) in such a playful, gorgeous, charming, sentimental, brilliant way! You are truly the best!!! ” After receiving all of my beautiful photos, Jess came to me with the opportunity to create a custom album as well. From the cover, to the spine, to the fonts, Jess made the album completely custom and like absolutely no other. She took me out for coffee to pick up my album and look through it for the first time. I absolutely could not have been happier seeing my photos in front of me, not on a screen! I was flipping through and reading a literal story book of our amazing day! I could not recommend an album enough. Overall, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Jess, she’s dependable, creative, and produces the most beautiful content. I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
Definitely. All final images will be edited by me, you'll get an assortment of color and black and white photos.
I don't have a set limit on photos but you can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. I almost always give you a handful of previews within the first couple of days after your wedding depending on my schedule!
I offer to add the option of a second photographer in my add ons. Sometimes I will bring an assistant to help me throughout the day if I feel it's necessary, this wouldn't be a charge to you in that case.
