With her quote, she sent over a proposed timeline for the day and recommendations of timing / number of photographers-- we used this to quite literally plan our whole day timeline around, and we were never running low on time; everything felt according to plan and never rushed. (Family photos were SO smooth!) Her level of detail is so special, and we loved the photos captured of all the hard work we put in on the decorations, venue, etc. as well as the organic human moments filled with emotion, silliness and beyond! She makes you feel so comfortable and ease immediately, which helped bring out the sweetness and silliness in our couples photos. On the big day, he was calm and attentive, and really settled any anxious energy I was feeling. He arrived early and beyond prepared. He took all the shots I asked, and others I didn’t even know I needed. We opted into the second photographer and were so happy with the extra coverage and support we received from Mikaela! We did our vows privately and even though Richard shooting it really did feel like it was just us. Richard also was a huge help corralling family members and keeping us on schedule. He had fun with us on the dance floor and kept pictures moving so we really got to enjoy our wedding! Mikeala was also great at always rearranging my dress/train to fall perfectly for every single family portrait! We really couldn’t have done our day successfully without Richard and Mikeala! Almost more importantly, Richard’s support and organization before our wedding day was unmatched. We did engagement photos at our apartment and in Central Park that we used for our Save the Dates and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how they came out. “They shot our wedding and we couldn't be happier with how it all came out! My favorite thing about all of the pictures is that they somehow managed to get soooo many adorable candid shots throughout the whole day - and I didn't even remember them snapping those photos! Their style of photography is truly breathtaking. Erica & Amanda are truly such creative, talented, and all around wonderful humans! They say that picking a wedding photographer is the most important vendor for your big day - since you'll be spending so much time around them. I knew immediately from our engagement shoot with Erica that she was the one to capture our moment. Erica & Amanda are really such pros, too - they were so quick to direct everyone to pose in the most easy-to-understand ways to get SO many pictures in such a short period of time. My husband and I are super awkward people - but you wouldn't know it from these pictures, we truly look like we belong in a magazine haha wtf!!!! AMAZING!!! They also got us our preveiws during the busy fall season in just a few days - and there were SOOOO MANY of them!
