When we initially met with Bennie, he gave us a blueprint that allowed us to share our thoughts and vision (for example, we wanted music, karaoke, and I also wanted to sing/play violin during the ceremony). From there, he collaborated with us, providing excellent suggestions, based on his previous experiences. He also reviewed the schedule and logistics with us, to make sure all the necessary equipment was mapped out. Our sound setup was perfect for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He kept the energy high, and it was clear that guests felt comfortable approaching him to make music requests during the reception, too! Throughout the entire day, he read the crowd and knew exactly when it was the right time for karaoke, upbeat songs, slower songs, etc. Our wedding was a blast... largely in part to Bennie’s talent and expertise! Eddie was easy to communicate with, and was there for us through the whole experience from beginning to end. “Julian at Limelight and DJ Rashaun were absolutely perfect for us. We knew the vibe we wanted — and, frankly, it was a little off the beaten path since we wanted a bit of a 1930s feeling. We thought we were doomed, though, because we're terrible at selecting exact songs and had no sense of how the music fit into the overall schedule of the night. We hadn't thought past our ceremony! Julian kept things positive, steered us when we had no idea what to do, but gave us space to put our stamp on our evening when he could sense we had ideas burbling. He was helpful, positive and always prompt without ever being pushy, and so many of our favorite moments came out of the things he got us to think about. Rashaun was awesome too. He took our weird list of preferred songs and turned it into an amazing night of love, dining, and dancing. It felt like he'd known for years, always hitting the right classic hit, the right remix, the right memory moments. He was such a kind and lovely man too. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat!”
