We were very overwhelmed at the start of the planning process because we knew we didn’t want traditional wedding photos- both in style and in the time commitment for our day. We wanted to spend the entire day with our guests and each other, not an hour doing portraits and group photos. We also did not want thousands of photos back that we would never do anything with. We just wanted a few hundred high quality photos we loved.
Dani was so understanding and innovative in coming up with a customized plan for us! She shot our wedding “documentary style” and ENTIRELY ON FILM!! She captured mostly unposed action shots, while still paying attention to the few specific shots we wanted. We spent no more than 15 minutes actually doing portraits and family photos (which all came out perfectly), and the rest of the wedding, Dani was somehow completely unobtrusive but still captured everything we wanted - the unadulterated energy and vibe of our day! It was so impressive and I’m sure extremely difficult for her; we were so appreciative that she came up with the creative plan for us and executed it so perfectly!
She used 3 or 4 different styles of film camera AND A DRONE, and the resulting photos were everything we could want: romantic, classic, naturally lit, warm, sweeping, authentic, lush, energized and FUN! We love every photo and we loved even more the way she fit seamlessly into our day.
She was also fantastic to communicate with; multiple meetings, clear emails, understanding, personal and kind. We would book her again in a heartbeat and everyone who sees the photos of our day asks us how we found someone so unworthy and talented! Thank you Dani!!!”
