Do you deliver every image you shoot?

No, we do not. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images.

Do you do destination weddings? What additional fees are associated with destination weddings?

We serve clients all around the world. Our destination wedding photography packages include the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations.

Does your studio do headshots, individual portraits, family portraits, newborn shoots, commercial photography, or other types of photography?

Yes, we have experience in many fields of photography and videography.

My venue is very dark. How does your studio handle these situations?

Accepted Answer

We have shot in the darkest of dark venues and reception halls so no need to worry! If the situation allows, we will set up additional lighting to ensure we get focused pictures.

When’s the best time to book for a wedding?

We usually get about 150+ requests per year and only book 30ish. So we always recommend reaching out as soon as you’re thinking about booking.

For wedding videos do you record the audio for ceremonies and speeches?

Yes! We record the audio for the ceremony and the speeches. We usually have multiple backups too!

How do you ensure the highest quality audio?

Accepted Answer

For the ceremony we use two Lav Mic’s to capture the audio for both the Bride and Groom, as well the officiator. Don’t worry you won’t have any wires showing, it’s discreet. It also won’t interfere with any signals coming from your DJ. It’s all internally recorded. If you wish to not use a Lav mic we have other options as well. We record the toasts by plugging directly into the DJ’s soundboard.

Where are you based out of?

We’re based out of Rochester, New York but film globally. In the last three years, we have filmed 52+ countries. Travel is in our blood.

Have you shot at my venue before?

Accepted Answer

There is a good chance that we have. However, if we have not, we will get to the venue early on the day of and be sure to perform a thorough walk-through to scout out the best photo/video locations. We also do extensive online research prior to your big day!

Which photographer will be shooting my wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, the photographer you meet with will be the photographer for your engagement session and wedding. You may request to meet with a specific photographer; otherwise, we’ll make the decision based on personality, availability, language abilities, and your referral.

What if our ceremony is in a different language?

We approach these weddings with research, understanding the traditions and culture of the wedding. We also have talk-through meetings with our couples before the wedding to ensure we are aware of the major moments. Lastly, we always ensure that we stay alert, leaning on the instincts that we have developed for capturing the emotion and the stories at any given moment. I

What is a wedding highlight film?

When you see videography packages a lot of times you’ll see ‘Highlight Film’ somewhere in there and you’re probably thinking what is that? Highlight wedding films are a newer, slightly trendier form of wedding videos that have become more and more common. Highlight films are shorter, more emotional, and upbeat edits usually cut to music with sound design.

Will my wedding highlight film include full speeches?

In a short answer, no. We use bits and pieces of the speeches to add more context and emotion to the highlight film. However, we do offer the chance for you to purchase all the Raw footage from your big day or the desired speeches.
