They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. From the day I inquired about acoustic musicians to the day of the wedding, Cynthia was available to answer any questions big or small. Choosing our song list was easy because their website was easy to navigate. What really sets them apart from other businesses is their wide catalog of music. They even let us choose a few songs not found in their catalog for a reasonable price. We were ecstatic! My fiancé and I chose a harp/cello duo. Kristin and Gabriel were exceptional! They arrived early, we’re very kind, well-prepared, quality musicians. They played all of our songs beautifully. The wedding ceremony was a bit unorthodox as my fiancé and I are not familiar with weddings… at all but watching Kristin and Gabriel communicate and pivot so well when we moved to the next phase of the ceremony was impressive. Not one bad song or bad mix. It was absolutely incredible. But what truly sets him apart is how much heart he pours into what he does. Without us even knowing, he recorded our entire ceremony, our cocktail hour, our dance floor, and gifted us not just music, but memories. He allowed us to relive the most important day of our lives again and again. That level of thoughtfulness is beyond anything we could have imagined. Our wedding was perfect because of him. He exceeded every expectation and gave us more than we ever dreamed possible. He is, without question, the most talented, kind, and extraordinary musician and DJ we have ever met. If we could give him more than 5 stars, we would. His photo booth, music and lights really brought the venue to life and guests had a great time dancing. I love that his equipment is sleek, not bulky and doesn't stand out in photos. Another great aspect was that our photographers Photo Booth broke from another wedding so we reached out to James and he made sure that we had a Photo Booth. “1000/10!! Lucky Devils gave us absolutely the best wedding experience possible. All communication and planning calls were extremely professional, prompt, and easy. We had a prescriptive plan on our music taste and preferences, which Lucky Devils was happy to accommodate, but they also gave guidance based on their expertise, which we so appreciated. We put playlists together because we wanted certain songs playing, but by the time the band came on (we just gave them general guidance beforehand, nothing too prescriptive), their set list was exactly what we were looking for and they completely set the vibe and energy of the party with little direction. We hired them for our ceremony music, which they were able to do with the live guitarist as well as use a speaker for walk down the aisle songs. Everything went seamlessly and exactly how we imagined, but somehow even better. Working with Lucky Devils was an amazing experience from end. They were also very positive and lively on-site, which made us and the guests have so much fun. We have a family band and Lucky Devils even let them play a live song, which will always be one of our favorite memories from our wedding day. Lucky Devils is a one stop shop and can help you with anything, as they have such range- you can hire for your ceremony AND reception (even if in different locations) as an emcee, DJ, live band, etc. and that's exactly what we needed. They have tons of clients at one time but somehow made us feel so special and like we were their only client. Music is so important to us, and honestly I have been putting together a playlist for years, so we were looking for the best group possible to host the experience we were looking for. Lucky Devils was exactly it and it was so amazing to see this music come to life. They brought so much energy, fun, and connection to our guests, we still talk about it! We were honestly so blown away at how amazing the music was throughout the night. Would 100% recommend and do all over again if we had the choice.
