On our video call consultation, I had suggested a viewpoint on Bull Hill in Cold Spring but we couldn't find a lot of photos of the exact spot—so Matthew actually hiked all the way up there a few days early just to scope it out and make sure it was perfect! On the day of the proposal, he arrived early to ensure everything went flawlessly and blended into the landscape beautifully. My now-fiance remembers noticing him but thought he was just another hiker enjoying the views. The natural photos he captured of us at the viewpoint and in the surrounding area are stunning. Matthew's dedication and meticulous preparation made us feel totally at ease. “Lisa was hands down one of my top vendors for my September 2024 wedding. Ultimately when booking vendors we had two non- negotiables- affordability and character. I met with several photographers before her and either their pricing was not within our range or I didn’t feel any “connection” with them. When I met Lisa over FaceTime I was in Target with my two toddlers because I had my schedule mixed up. She laughed about it and we were able to have a productive meeting despite the mix up. I hired Lisa not long after and I am so glad I did. Besides from being a phenomenal photographer, her personality is what put the cherry on top. She is detail oriented and assertive - like myself- and had a very efficient way of photographing our bridal party where we were even able to enjoy our cocktail hour without having a first look. Hey! I'm Nina. I'm a pretty energetic and charismatic person that loves love and enjoys life. Documenting through photo is my favorite thing on this planet. I've been a professional photographer since 2016 but really I've been invested in photography since I was 15 years old. My love for documenting moments came from a desire to capture my own life and that of my friends using disposable cameras, flip phone cameras and point and shoot digital cameras on beach trips with friends. “Short story long. We got married in September 2025 on a bright and somewhat cloudy day in a Historic Lodge in Hudson Valley. Nina was our ONLY photographer that day. I don't know too much about photography, but I do know that on our wedding day the lighting in the building and the grounds was varied and difficult to navigate. I highlight this because the photos that Nina captured and edited were BEYOND SPECTACULAR. Aside from being extremely talented, she was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout the day. She provided us structure prior to the day, but made everything seem seamless and effortless the day of the Wedding. I highly recommend Nina for literally every occasion.
