“I am a professional wedding coordinator turned queer bride and I was worried about finding a good DJ for our wedding. Many wedding DJs give me second hand embarrassment and create a cringey homecoming-y vibe. Also, we had a guest count of just 47 so we were worried about finding a DJ who could get the dance floor moving with such a small group. Frank was everything we were looking for and more!!! Frank absolutely BLEW US AWAY with his professionalism, talent, and personality! In meetings he was attentive, explained everything in detail, and really worked to get to know us as a couple instead of just a cookie cutter one size fits most format. QUEER COUPLES THIS IS YOUR DJ!!! As a queer couple, we were in search of vendors who would make us feel safe and welcome through the whole process. We absolutely found that in Frank! He was open and understanding of pronouns, identities, and family dynamics. He truly cared and listened to us about each and every aspect! We felt truly celebrated, safe, and welcome! On the big day everyone was telling us how well they could hear everything during the ceremony (it was outside and windy) and we gave alllllll the credit to Frank’s high quality equipment and skill. My spouse and I kept talking about how good of an announcer he was and how well spoken he was. Zero cringing on my end (which is HUGE for me)! His lighting and set up was professional and elegant. It didn’t take away from the rest of the decor while still lighting up on the dance floor beautifully and made for the perfect dancing atmosphere! Once it was time for dancing he kept the party going until the last song even with our small guest count! We had a blast and Frank played a MASSIVE role in that! He worked seamlessly with our planner and designer, Mia, with Little Acorns Events who recommended him! Our timeline, experience, and vibe was perfect thanks to their collaboration!!! We couldn’t possibly recommend Frank with PTEG enough! Trust me he will be the highlight of your event!”

I had carefully planned our cocktail and dinner playlist, only to realize in real time that it was completely missing the mood. Scott gently checked in and asked if I wanted to adjust course, and I was SO relieved he did. He saved the mood, the vibe, the whole thing. From there, he expertly read our crowd, using just a handful of song requests guests had submitted with their RSVPs to curate an absolutely perfect night of bangers. Our dance floor was packed basically the entire evening. People weren’t just dancing, they were genuinely feeling the music and having an incredible time. Scott understood our crowd in a way that honestly felt like magic. He was also kind, attentive, and incredibly sensitive to the more personal parts of our wedding, including navigating the fact that our Father-Daughter dance had to be removed from the plans after my father passed away during our wedding planning. He handled those moments with genuine compassion and professionalism. It was clear from start to finish that Scott cared deeply about giving us an exceptional experience. He worked within our budget, brought an enormous amount of expertise to the table, and was worth every single penny. The picture I’m including is at the end of the night after most of the guests had gone home—the bridal party crew & my father-in-law stayed late because we were having such a great time bopping and Scott kept the night going despite the fact that 95% of the guests had gone home. It was one of the funnest parts of the night—we had a blast letting loose on the dance floor and enjoying every last beat right to the end. I would hire Scott again in a heartbeat for any future DJ or emcee role, and I would recommend him without hesitation. I do not put my name behind recommendations lightly, and I can say with complete confidence: hire Scott. He was one of the most integral reasons our wedding evening turned out as spectacularly as it did.”

“Kysheem was our DJ for our wedding and he was great! We had people talking about how great he was at reading the crowd. He was a great MC and was high energy and very excited to be there. His mixes were the main reason we booked him. Every song was mixed seamlessly with no awkward pauses or silences. We added the cold sparklers, dancing on the clouds, and name in lights to our DJ package! All were very beautiful, my guests couldn’t stop talking about it. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“We had the pleasure of working with DJ Wong from MyDeejay. A quick review of MyDeejay: They were excellent to work with. They paired us with DJ Wong after we filled out a quick survey about the vibe we wanted for our wedding, and it was smooth sailing from there. It's clear from working DJ Wong that MyDeejay vets their DJs very well and ensures they're all professional and great to work with. Now for DJ Wong: He's got all of the main things you want in a vendor--professionalism, responsiveness, expertise, etc.), but he goes well above and beyond those standards. He provided ceremony music, background music, reception music, and uplighting, but that's just the starting point of everything he did for us. We were PICKY and we had A LOT of requests, and he accommodated them all flawlessly and eagerly. We requested he alter versions of some of our selected songs to adjust for timing, blending parts of songs together, and very particular transitions between songs. He made everything sound amazing! We had not 1, not 2, but FIVE choreographed dances throughout the evening, and he executed the timing of everything perfectly. The sound was incredible! In addition to that, because we were completely over-the-top for our wedding, DJ Wong so graciously and excitedly fulfilled our request to have KARAOKE at our reception. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! We had a very particular vibe in mind from our wedding--we wanted our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner to be classy and jazzy, and then for the reception dancing we wanted a mix of Pop anthems from the past 3 decades--DJ Wong understood the assignment perfectly! We were also at a very large venue and he had to provide sound across many different areas throughout the evening, but he came fully prepared and did an excellent job. We received so many compliments about the ambience for the entire evening, and we attribute that to him! On top of everything else, DJ Wong is an excellent MC and can read a room flawlessly. He kept the vibes up the entire evening, and struck the perfect balance of engaging with the audience and letting the music do the work. We are so grateful we had him for our special day!”

He is a true professional who knows how to have fun. Prior to the wedding day, Matthew called us to discuss our music taste and he curated a perfect playlist for guests to enjoy during cocktail our. “We had an absolutely amazing experience with David Floyd, “DJ Squirrel,” from Horizon Harbor Events for our wedding! From the moment we started working with David, he was professional, friendly, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our wedding reception everything we hoped it would be. David did an incredible job keeping the energy and excitement going throughout the entire celebration. The music selection was fantastic, and he did a wonderful job reading the crowd and knowing exactly what to play to keep everyone entertained and on the dance floor. From our special songs and meaningful moments to the high-energy dancing later in the evening, everything flowed perfectly. One of the things we appreciated most was how easy David was to work with. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but having a DJ who was organized, dependable, and attentive to our requests gave us one less thing to worry about. He listened to what we wanted, incorporated our preferences, and brought his own experience and personality to make the reception feel fun and memorable. I wanted to surprise my mother with a dance and little script to ask her on the dance floor. I asked DJ Squirrel to read the script for me as I knew I wouldn’t make it through. He was very willing to do what I asked but offered a more personal touch!! He gave me the option to record myself saying the script and he blended it into the beginning music of the song! My mom lost it!! What a personal touch and such a thoughtful suggestion! The sound quality and overall presentation were excellent, and David worked seamlessly with the other vendors to help everything stay on schedule. He helped create the perfect atmosphere for every part of the reception, from the special moments to the celebration with family and friends. Our guests had such a great time and had so many positive things to say about the music and entertainment. The dance floor was full, the energy was incredible, and we made so many wonderful memories that we will cherish for years to come. Not only did we use his DJ services, we used his uplighting which made our whole reception space a party vibe, Photo Booth that was personalized with our names and even wedding flowers on the photo strip, and audio guest book to cherish for so many years to come! We are so thankful to David Floyd “DJ Squirrel” and Horizon Harbor Events for helping make our wedding day so special. “Dj Touché truly made planning my wedding a lot easier! I was a very chill bride which to some was great but to others it made things more difficult. Dj Touché has this awesome app that he sends you to choose music and I was overwhelmed with the choices! Dj touché was so patient with me and helped me pick great songs for my wedding! He even freestyled a little and he 100% nailed the vibe! The Photo Booth was truly a hit at my wedding and I had no idea I’d get to see all the pictures people were taking during the wedding! He had the pictures scrolling across the dj booth! He also had pictures of my husband and I displayed during the wedding and I had no idea he was going to do that! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!”
